Translation: "Again a really nice video and everything explained very well.I am already happy if it continues. Greetings Sascha" Thank you for your kind words. 😀👍
I have just disassembled my Rubicon right along with your vid! Excellent instruction! Cant wait til the next! Most of my bits are in, just waiting on my esc! Cheers from Hal!! PS hope your Christmas and New Year were wonderful!!
I will have a choice - big Bruder trucks, Sprinter, Fastrac, tracked construction vehicles ....... not sure yet. I have developed a lot of 3D printed solutions waiting to be filmed. 😉👍
Hey great video, but my question would be this. Do i need to detach wheels if i just wanna try and fix the steering ? It just clicks inside not moving front wheels
I have tried this when I first started doing the conversions. They generally loosen up and spin - I guess its part of tghe child-safe design of these models. Plus I want to avoid making the holes any bigger as I put brass or copper tubes inside to bring the diameter down from 4mm to 3mm to fit on the N20 motors - as you will see in the next video. Good question tho. 😀👍
As it's Bruder they have a built-in plastic lug to keep the wheels located so best way to get the wheels off if heat use a soldering iron and a very steady hand t oheat the shift up and then the wheel should just slide off hope that helps someone or anyone
Do you think the 3d printed parts can work on a (Driven ) toy tow truck model I’m trying to convert it to rc but I’m not dat gud so can u please help @Rcmodders
It very much depends on where you source the parts (and how long you are willing to wait for them - buying from Ebay in China is usually cheapest). The original toy is usually around £30; the motors, ESC & steering servo another £30; battery £10; transmitter & receiver between £40 (Turnigy i6) - £70 (Flysky G5). Plus a few bits of wire etc. So around £100 - £140 I would say. Obviously less than that if you already have RC which can be used on lots of different models. Hope that helps. 😀👍
@@RCModders absolutely brilliant thanks for the reply 👍👍I have a few transmitters and lots of recievers as I got them for the tamiya trucks I have(10 last count 😁) and a few rc cars (I can't count how many of them I have and other rc's I have way round many to count 🙄🙄)
Great Job Pete.. I enjoyed this disassembly video. Now I don't have to figure out how they come apart when we do our build with this model.. #RCMODDERS #customcrawlerz
Wieder mal ein wirklich schönes Video und alles sehr gut erklärt.
Freue mich schon wen es weiter geht.
Schöne Grüße Sascha

I am getting my parts together!! When is the next vid coming?!
Fairly soon I think. Been having to do some decorating in the house. 😀👍
Hi, have you tried twisting the wheels back and forth to get the wheels off the axles?. Steve.
I have tried this when I first started doing the conversions. They generally loosen up and spin - I guess its part of tghe child-safe design of these models. Does this method of wheel removal work on the trucks by any chance?
Method is the same for all Bruders. 😀👍
Hi I have a 1/14 scale grand hauler I was wondering if you could make me a cattle pot for it!
Hi thank you for your question. I don't really do custom builds. But there are plenty of folk that do. 😀👍
How do you get the grille off of the chassis?
Just a couple of extra tabs - I'll try to remember to include in the future videos. If you are not doing the lights there is no need to do this. 😀👍

It all depends. These parts were designed only for this truck really.
Hi did u convert the skid steer to rc too
Yep. I want to develop this a little bit - with 3D parts - before I do a build series on it. 😀👍
@@RCModders i bet it took some doing dint it
John Salt skid loader isn’t too difficult or expensive to do and really nice to use. It’s possibly next on the list after the Jeep.
@@RCModders ok ill be watchin out for it
Can I ask what the final cost of the build is
