Thank you. Another helpful tip is look slightly in front of your hands ( as seen in the video). If you at your hands you will throw yourself off balance. For me that was a game changer.

You forgot the MOST IMPORTANT CUE. PEOPLE!!!! LOOK FORWARD! Not at the floor, not at your feet. Where your gaze (drishti) goes, so does your energy. A crow flies facing forward. The knees can actually help if they are higher up nearer to the armpits, but the most important thing here is the core and the medial line. You must engage the core tucking it all in and have the knees and chest pressing towards the medial line of your body. Pelvic floor is also engaged.

I honestly have an easier time having my legs up higher to start BECAUSE they slip. If they’re too low I don’t stand a chance staying in that position.

Hello thank you for your question. For starters my first question would be do you have any limitations after having surgery? I wouldn't;t want to advise anything that isn't accessible for you and as I don't know your body/history I'm always careful to advise.

Just with lifting heavy weight and being careful ,however I've got most all flexibility back (very flexible) and range of motion and am back to lifting weights and started running again as well 🩷

I've been practicing crow for a few days now right after my home workout session. I can stay for like a second or two and then my head goes boom straight downward😂...which is why I keep a cushion in front of me.
Will try to correct the hands' position now.
