Great video, not only for improving one’s presentation and appearance of confidence, but also for helping a generation of people suffering from tech neck. I recently read that there is a correlation between anxiety and poor posture and how it affects the nervous system.

Excellent tips When I lived in Singapore over six years time, I observed teens develop what I call "ipad neck" and these teens lost two inches in height in three years time! I know because their moms told me! It put them into an obese class for school because the height loss made them fatter on weight charts. The school made them run the track before class and that was humiliating. No matter how much the moms asked their kids to not look down but hold their phones UP, the kids did not listen. Today some are 20 and have permanently ruined their posture! How sad. They developed humps on the back of their necks. You are doing a great service speaking about posture. It can make the difference of being hired or not even getting an interview! Thank you.

When I'm watching your videos I just can't help but notice how much similarity I have with you in my values, the difference is you have started implementing your values into real-life action. This is what I've been planning to do more of since I started my 20s (this year). In my perception, the way you explain these topics is perfect. You start from the beginning (main idea) and then join slowly and coherently all the points. My goal is to be able to speak in this manner one day. Thank you for all these amazing content

I've had bad posture for so that in 2020 it used to literally suffocate me to straighten up to the "typical bad posture". Like i couldn’t literally breath. Now I've the " typical bad posture" but its like 70% better than what i had before. And now to do the actual proper posture it kinda makes me do long breathe once in a while. I've gone a long way and I'm not stopping. But something that has been bothering me is that whenever i sit with actual good posture it takes me 15 min max to feel so much tension on my lower back. Literally lots of pressure and tension. That hurts...idk what to do

For competitive bench pressing, the ideal posture is to have your butt and shoulders on the bench, which the rules require, arch the back as much as possible, and pull the shoulder blades together as much as possible. This results in a high chest position, which reduces the distance you need to press. Then, before accepting the bar, take as much air into your lungs as possible and hold it. This also reduces the pressing distance, and more importantly, it creates a stable platform for pressing. Do not exhale until after you complete the press.

You’re almost like a marble statue so it’s hard to imagine you attaining posture, creaking into an upright stance. Keeping the lower back and upper hips supple is extra useful in having the freedom to plant one’s hips over the centre of the foot. The shoes cover your feet well.
