Dear Bullu motorer, since you are a moto blogger you have all rights to podcast yours as such appreciate each viewer's comments it may be their positive/negative/neutral thoughts. Then one can build a healthy network. No offence❤
I think the higher lean with the side stand is maybe because some owners of the previous gen 411 had an issue that the bike was too upright (making the bike have a loose footing on tricky surfaces and slopes) and people were trimming the side stand to increase the lean. Even my BS4 feels heavy to lift off of the side stand when my bike is loaded. I hope to try out the new Himalayan soon.
I guess one youtuber did point out this feature and mentioned RE had done it purposefully because the feedback from a lot of their customers was that the stand on the 411 was too "straight" and many feared it would topple to the otherside because of that!
I owned the Himalayan BS4 and I absolutely agree with you. My bike has been dropped on the other side by people who sit on parked bikes. I'm kind of happy about this change, but then again I'm 6 feet tall so I may not be able to understand the plight of shorter riders.
You are absolutely right & it is very honest observation, I too feel the same way that adventure bike side stand should have little straight side stand so you don't have to put enough effort while pulling it & while you get on its saddle. Hope Royal Enfield will look into this shortcomings & address it on their next production
I appreciate the point on weight, i currently own 390 adventure for the last 2 years and even if that bike falls with luggage, it becomes a challenge to pick it and also to manage weight in stop go traffic. Being 20+ kg heavier then that one should be very careful of what is to live with. To add i have observed over time every bike will start getting additional play in the side stand, resulting in additional lean making it difficult over time. Keep it up Bulu bhai😊
This is the exact thing Triumph has taken care of in Scrambler 400x. I was surprised to see how upright the bike was after putting the side stand on. But then the guy at dealership explained this exact thing and it felt like a cleaver engineering by Triumph!

@BuluBiker Never mind. Truth should prevail. Most of the buyers are from middle class back ground and it's all hard earned money. Every penny counts. Customers should not become the testing ground for Manufacturers.
This stand is far better than the previous generation models bulu bhai. 411 Himalayan ka side stand karna ek difficult task thaa har jagah pe wo theek se park nahi hota tha and kuch garbar hone se dharam se opposite side gir jata tha so avi ka ye akdom theek hay. I have taken a long ride of this bike in Goa at the Motoverse event so I have experienced it practically.
The way Bulu bhai analyses, noone else does. This analysis is spot on. Yesterday I went to a RE showroom & climbed onto the bike in typical adventure bike style. After that i was facing difficulty in straightening the bike from side stand, it's extremely heavy on the front.
Hi Billu Bhai, Having test-driven the bike myself, being a well-built 6ft, 95kg powerlifting champion, I can tell the bike is top heavy and with the luggage you can imagine how much the bike will be heavy. The bike's weight, particularly due to the center stand, surpasses other bikes in the market, impacting leg strength as asking to go to gym does not make sense as discussed in previous comments. Also imagine the situation during hard off-roading and you are already tired and will possible be impossible to get the bike straight in losses and slippery conditions Notably, the test bike with only 600 km showed a taper noise. Despite seeking positive aspects and acknowledging its suitability for Bangalore traffic, the Royal Enfield fell short of the versatility, weight and total balance I experience with my KTM ADV390. The non-progressive and slightly biting rear brake further influenced my decision, ultimately leading me to choose the 390 over the Himalayan.
No doubt 390 is a matured bike and still improving.... RE has started his hands in adventure touring and yes its good start.. Any unbiased person will choose 390 over this himalayan..but you know RE has special space in Indian bike enthusiast, specially among new bikers.. we all can only say to RE good luck for their efforts...
RE fanboys to your comment: 'Bike chalani hai uthani nahi 🤣'. It's not just the Himalayan. Any ADV that has a fuel tank that high and a 21 incher in front is going to be top heavy. That has been a norm unless BMW builds a smaller boxer engine. I have a tough time understanding when 'experts' say the 390 is not an ADV because it doesn't have a 21 incher front. It's exactly an ADV. Jack of all trades. Does everything from commutes to touring to off roading without hurting your shoulders and back without specialising in one. The experts need to understand that they don't own a copyright of the word 'Adventure' and 'Off-Road'. For Indians everything is an adventure. From cutting traffic to distance riding. High time people realise the difference between an ADV and Dual Sport/Enduro.
@@kiranark7621 and sir u will be surprised to know the Himalayan also heats up the exact same way😁 But the heating has never been an issue for me as I m used to bigger bikes n trust me they heat a lot more than these bikes.

@@OnroadwithHarsh Absolutely. Parking was a nuisance, had to find an area sloping to the left to park securely. This stand is exactly what I wanted. Having said that I can understand from the point of view of a slightly shorter individual, it may be difficult to take it off the stand while seated.

Very valid points. Some ppl hv issue with ur views, i feel they are educated illiterates or dont care about practicality. I hv 2 bikes and hv been using a big bike from 2 years and all the points u mentioned totally makes sense. Especially if we are going on a long run. Thanks for sharing views honestly. If ppl try and listen rather than just hear, it will help a lot of young guys getting into biking and make a sensible choices in buying based on their requirements and needs.
you have adv 390, so what the exact reason to buy himalayan 450? Both are for same purpose but adv 390 have nice features and lighter than himalayan 450.
Another problem with the bike is the headlight placement. In pitch dark, when you take a sharp left or right then you won't know where you are riding as the light is not in your direction of focus! I have booked the vehicle during the first hour on the booking day. But not made any attempt to ask for the status as I have observed that bikes with non tubeless rims are given! I have decided to wait even if it takes time. Can risk myself with a flat tyre in some deserted highway.
Bulu bhai, in one video you mentioned that you will not buy the higher end colour variant and you will go for low variant and do PPF on that. May I know why you opted for the top variant.
Thank you for highlighting the issues what media didn't show us. Helps us really. Also we will know how re guys handle this new beast.. as we all know their service quality and spare parts management😂 Waiting for more from you
Funny, I went for a test drive of the bike and I am only 5'5" and I didnt do the test drive because of the same issue. I was finding it very difficult to get the bike straight and put it back on the side stand. I could feel the entire weight on the leg. I had actually gone for the test ride after seeing bullu bhais excitemrnt at buying the bike and i was thinking if he finds it that easy, I could. But honestly I also can but I wouldnt use the bike unless its long distance with this much strain needed for me. The RE sales person also agreed on this and he said, when the fuel tank is also full this will be much more heavier. I think it will be perfect for stronger or taller bikers than me. Vehicle is a beauty though.
Too straight stand in Himalayan 411 is also not that practical. Always need to find a slope area on the side of the stand. Or it can't be parked since I live in hilly areas. Its a problem.
Keep going Bulu Bhai, u r supported by many people for ur honesty and experience. 2-3 people who are saying that he cant handle heavy machine, just 😂 on them and check their previous comments all of them r negative, so pure haters
Now that RE is going towards a right direction from engine to features. Now they should focus on weight management of the bike their 196 kg bike feels like 500 kg

Is there a problem with mud splashing onto the pillion, since you must be aware from the previous Himalayan that this was a major problem while riding in the rain
I am using old himalayan the 411 one. Because of the side stand is not that much tilted my bike fall down several times. And also other people comes and sit in our bike when it's parked in side stand and it has fallen then also. So this time am happy that new 450 stand they have tilted
Ys i felt the same thing. Iam 5.2 currently riding dominar 400. I also felt little bit heavier. Its only a problem for shorter persons and tnx bro for the tip❤
This bike needs a rider to be 75 fit. You need to hit the gym have lower body and upper body strength. Adventure bike air commuter bike mei yeah difference hei.😅
it would have been a valid excuse if he didn't had the experience with other heavier bikes, he's not a master off-road rider but he's also not ur local commuter uncle.
This is the right angle for this bike because if it less lean then its too hard to park on side stand on downhill, Inhope you remeber the straight angle of BS 4 Himalayan side stand, to resolve the problem them used shorter side stand in BS 6 Model which help it to lean little more
I totally agree with you Bulu Bhai. I have a interceptor650 and it also becomes heavy to lift from side stand. Due to its sheer heavy weight. But i think its just personal comfort and you start adjusting accordingly.
Hi I think this bike is made not for short riders...Infact made by considering strong build people like Europeon American customers visiting in north India for riding and also looking for the market outside of India. Weight factor is always matter while riding on big highways and high wind blast. Bike looks excellent but not for me , I am 5.7 height . I always watch Bulubhai channel for right information about bikes and the skill he used while rinding being short rider... At the end I can mention only the words said by bulubhai that "Adventure dimag me hona chahiye , bike se jyaada pharak nahi padata"

Kisi shauk hoga 3.5 lacs pay karke kudhke gaadi ka negative bolega.... Kya bhai.... Duniya me aisi bohat cheeze hai jo aapke Or humare samajh ke pare hai
It's a correct observation and opinion. It'll be solved by hitting the gym and getting stronger.
Ktm 390Adv or this 450 or Triumph scrambler X or which one else is better to buy
Bahot din se aapke videos dekhna band kiya tha . Abhi socha Himalayan ke bare me he to dekh loon kuch nya hoga . Ye video dekh ke yaad aya apke videos dekhne band kyun kiya tha 😅.
I ride A trk 502x I can understand for short riders how a heavy bike feels. That's a rider height issue not everybody will have that problem. Tipton the handle on the right and pushing it can easily reduce the efforts
I really wanted bulu bhaina to buy this bike himself so that he would just give us the real facts and so that i could uodate my scram 411 to 450. Thanks bulu bhaina for that❤
Constructive feedback for RE.. appreciated..
I think same problem is with yezdi Adv. That bike also top heavy and we had very hard task to hande it with.
Waah Etna achaa baat , bataya yeh to socha hi nahi tha, humne😉😇♥️♥️♥️♥️♥️♥️♥️🙏👍video mast hai
Can a stand extender / Thicker shoe be fixed? Is there space for it?
Bulu bhai ek hath se top heavy bike pakad k dusre hath se kick stand laga rahe hai. Amazing 👏 👏
Apne jo Npal wala ride kiya sab episode mai dekha. bahat achhalaga. sirf ye bata dijiye honda 350 kaisa tha. Apke soch bahat valueable hai
Thank you for sharing your unbiased opinion. I always admire your detailed looks and analysis
you have adv 390, so what the exact reason to buy himalayan 450? Both are for same purpose but adv 390 have nice features and lighter than himalayan 450.
Bulu bhai. Did you feel the same issue on the dominar? I have one and it leans quite a lot when parked.
Yes yes same issue with Dominar too, but this is slightly more
@@BuluBikerthen it must be super heavy.
Bhai that's why I ❤ your videos.Thank you very much
Hello Bulu Bhai...!!
Can you tell whether spark plugs are easily accessible like previous Himalayan..!??
Can you suggest any automatic bikes not in the range of golldwin ..
Why didn't you choose low seat option?
As this varient was immediately available n other color would have taen some time
Excellent review Bulla, you have created waves with the Himalayan. Which place in Bengaluru to convert it to tubeless rims? Suggest a place please
Can't we keep an after market side stand support to it?!
I mean ofcourse it must be available in market in the first place but we can do that right?
Hi..I'm planning for new bike. Can this be daily commuter and occasionally outing????
Patnaikji keep up & share your honest ownership experience. My learning experience becomes more richer through your frank videos
Congratulations bullu bhai🎉
Thank you for highlighting the issues what media didn't show us. Helps us really.
Also we will know how re guys handle this new beast.. as we all know their service quality and spare parts management😂
Waiting for more from you
Funny, I went for a test drive of the bike and I am only 5'5" and I didnt do the test drive because of the same issue.
Hi BuluBiker, I'm curious to know what was your new bike kms at the time you purchased it?
Brilliant observation s which were missed by U Tubers. This is what differentiates you and the rest ❤
Hello bulu sir.. agree completely did the same yesterday in showroom it is heavy and also moving from double stand is bit difficult
Maybe it won't be an issue after getting used to it?
Very good observation..Thanks Bulu bhai..
The key slot is slightly misaligned. And the key when in on position is not straight. Minor things. But you do scratch your head.
Prathama thara pae kie stand ra problem kahile love you bulu bhai
Stand m extender nhi lg skta kya ya fir stand change ho skta hai kya
Now that RE is going towards a right direction from engine to features. Now they should focus on weight management of the bike their 196 kg bike feels like 500 kg
Exactly sir, they have done an excellent job with the bike just they have to work on small bits
Even I tried it... It is top heavy Bike.i am 5.10 feet , i Felt the differently to lift. And all. Bullu bro u r giving solid truth reviews.... Thanks... God bless...
Bulu bhai has bought the bike with his own hard earned money. He has the right to criticize and share the cons of the bike. For those who are barking against him, please buy the himalayan and ride safe. 😝
I will be honest i havnt met an honest influencer like Bulu bhai 🙏
Is there a problem with mud splashing onto the pillion, since you must be aware from the previous Himalayan that this was a major problem while riding in the rain
Achha ye baat achha point kiye aapne, let me check that out. Ek baar biwi se daat khaana padega lag raha hai lekin test kar lenge 😁
@@BuluBiker 🤣
I also felt it's top heavy. I rode tbts 500 which have concentrated weight center of gravity. However i booked this and T400x
This is the right angle for this bike because if it less lean then its too hard to park on side stand on downhill, Inhope you remeber the straight angle of BS 4 Himalayan side stand, to resolve the problem them used shorter side stand in BS 6 Model which help it to lean little more
Are you buying scrambler 400x ?
How top heavy it is if compared to last model according to your experience?
Last model is slightly less sir compared to this, but slowly u get used to it
@@BuluBiker thank you for highlighting the fact ❤️
Love you bullu bhai from budaun (UP)
Does the Right leg is touching the catalytic exhaust under ?
I agree with the stand and top weight issue... its defi heavy to get it off stand
Which camera are you using? The quality is very poor.
I totally agree with you Bulu Bhai. I have a interceptor650 and it also becomes heavy to lift from side stand. Due to its sheer heavy weight. But i think its just personal comfort and you start adjusting accordingly.
Puny weak ppl
Hi
I think this bike is made not for short riders...Infact made by considering strong build people like Europeon American customers visiting in north India for riding and also looking for the market outside of India.
@ Bulu Pattnaik bhai Is this bike's usb charging port available or not.
Yes even itchy Boots was mentioning about the top heavy....
Bulu Bhai.. Thank for ownership experience. I Book this bike even after see practically but now without test drive i will not purchase because i am also short person like you
Bro himlayan vs bmw 310gs vs ktm 390adv comparison ride video
Side stand ke nichey ek square block weld Karo bike thoda upright rahega
bulu bhai no comments on your experience but as a ground rule for RE bikes first sit and then remove stand.
Appreciate speaking about this issue bulu bhai.
Pls cover, whether there is enough space for side stand extender or not, whenever you talk about this issue in your review.
I have a xpulse as you know, and in real life I have experienced the problems of a weak and improper side stand, and it's soo crucial 😢😢😢, and no one talk about it
In boskys review video he said that when it is fully laden with luggage, the lean angle should reduce. Could you give it a try?
No sir, plz understand the physics, gravity will always pull the weight to the closer side. Imagine this as a seesaw.
@@BuluBiker yes thought so. But seeing as i have no experience in riding a bike apart from what little i learnt to get my license. I thought you would be better suited to answer this query
How much mileage can we expect?
Sir isme tubeless tyres hai kya ??
Kindly compare this bike with Honda Transalp XL 750 or you can make a separate video without comparison. Will be good to know the performance of suspension since both of them r using Showa
What is the on road price u have purchased
Very tricky observation bhai...
Bhai comparison between dominar 400 and Himalayan 450 or new Himalayan video banavo
Sure
