- After working on it for a year, it is now time to wrap up the Project Himalayan 450 Rally build.
I had a lot of fun building and riding this Himalayan 450 - I would keep tweaking the build based on what I was going to do that particular week - touring, trails or simply commuting in the city. It was very easy to just swap out wheels/tyres/seats/luggage and simply go about my business.
Big thanks to everyone involved in this project

I hope you enjoyed this series. Let me know what you think of the bike in the comments.
Cheers
Before watching the complete video, I would like to say this looks super fab. Very classy design, keeping the feel of a rally machine without overdoing things. Moderation in design and graphics is very evident and works perfectly here , giving the machine a near perfect look. Job well done Abhinav.
Yeh ChatGPT ne likha hai :D
@ na bro.. yeh meri shudh angrezi hai 😀
Dude drops one of the best mods on youtube casually meanwhile big youtubers making 15 videos on slipon exhaust
100%
Thats the best part no nonsense “aaj yeh karenge aisi awaj sune ge.. reaction time..” seedha modjob no bakwas
Bro casually launching one of best mods done on a Himalayan 450 without any hype ....!!
Man what a beauty it is !!
Clean sleek inch to inch perfection ❤
196 kgs to 160 kgs is wild.
160 dry weight, not wet weight
@@chandrashekaraiahdl6566 17 litress & 3 litres oil would make it around 178-180? Ig
196 to 180
He took around 20-21 kg off.
How much cash die he sink into it? That's the real question.
RE should do a Bhatt edition, amazing you got it to 160kg
About 10% reduction in weight and a 15% power bump can make quite a difference in how the bike feels. Great job 👌
That is a thing of beauty. The gold rims would look bling. Love the new stock Himalayan ... and you've made it look even better.
Eww gold rims
God no. They will start looking like some jewellers wet dream then
Absolutely now this is Royal and this is how an Himalayan should be presented. Great appreciation for your efforts put in and showing it to us.
I've watched various episodes of the bike build and am very impressed with how the bike has been developed. The end result is a well thought out, well designed bike, subtle modifications and the paint scheme is so much better than the standard Himalayan colours, makes it look far more sportier. Nice.
I have been following the mods on this motorcycle since the beginning and I have to say it looks Smashing!! All the best for Motoverse brother!!
best looking himmy 450 i've seen! super slick!
Your reasoning on the tyres you have currently on makes absolute sense but I still feel for the purpose built machine this is, knobbies would have been the perfect fit :) . The bike still looks swell.. Its good to see there are people in India who do such mods to their rides not because others are doing it but because its to serve a definite purpose.
50/50 is good enough for most trails and his purpose was very clear. it wasnt to be a dedicated offroad bike but the lightest all rounder
Looks beautiful, color scheme looks spectacular.
It's only the best RE I've ever seen!
Congratulations!
Abhinav bawa, What a beauty you've created, your Romanian friend has done a great job of designing the graphics, it looks Hot AF.
This looks incredible. Great work Abhinav 🔥👽
Looks amazing. Have followed some of your videos that helped with my build
Hats off you are not allowing arthritis kill your dreams. Here I am crying with back spasms . Salute to your passion
This is great, i wish people did more practical mods like these.
I never missed out when I spot ur vids .. ... Worthwhile watch..... U make sense all of the time🎉
What a beauty! You've really poured your heart in this build. Glad to be able to witness all of this and actually learned a bunch of new stuff
What an amazing amazing amazing build!!! Congrats on the build Mr Bhatt.
Absolutely beautiful! I'm sure it will be a big hit at the bike show.
This is as perfect as the motorcycle can be; absolutely beautiful!
Looking Epic!!! loved everybit if it! The RiDe is calling!
Royal Enfield is a credit to India. I don't think the west has caught on to the quality vehicles being manufactured there.
The west has definitively noticed them, but most people shrink back from the brand, because they have yet to bring a motorcycle to our markets, that deliver the performance we expect from a middle class motorcycle. The current 400 and 450 craze is not the mainstream of motorcycling over here. And A2 bikes are not what most riders aspire to own. I personally am looking forward to the 750 engine, they were hinting at.
@whatsgoingon71 I'm
The twins are the best selling motorcycle in the West.! What are you yapping about?
@@panzarybasumatary8133 yapping? I'm talking the broader manufacturing. Particularly the cars, this is from an Australian experience. Perhaps I should have stated that.
One of the best mod done by this guy and one of the best himalayan ever.❤❤❤❤❤
Masterpiece...we love you Abhinav....
Many congratulations to the entire design team as well...
Beautiful outcome! I'm still waiting to get my hands on one.
It looks SENSATIONAL!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
This looks & feels Good + Weight reduction, Fantastic man ❤
Thanks
Wouldn't change it further, we'll done! 👏🏻🎊😍🔥
Looks cool..am sure it rides cool too..good job Abhinav!
Tail section looks CLEAN, good stuff m8
turned out really bloody nice man, really nice
What a great Bike Abhinav! This is my style. I want to remove the upper crash bars too. But I need and hoping for a solution for the front Indicators.
Whoa!! Congrats to start with. I never expected the end result to be anything like this when you started the project. But hats off to making this a beauty. RE can definitely take a few feathers from your work. My instincts says: you should try your hands on a project for the Guerilla and plz plz plz.... do something for the Bear 650 as well... Can't wait to see some art on them. Cheers !!
Very nicely done!! 👍 Good luck for Goa!!
Nice! I would just take the headlight & speedo off, put some cheap-ass enduro lights and go racing on this :D!! Amazing stuff Abhinav!
Regulations!
@@ontheroad8149 I think one can ride this in group B!
its cool, like the way you stripped it down to 160
Very tasteful and functional mods! The paint scheme looks great too!
This is spectacular! Could you do some similar weight reduction project on the Hunter 350? I feel like dropping 25-ish kilos would change the Hunter massively!!!!
Great bike mate with adjustable suspension, rally tower, barkbuster = perfect
Amazing video man. Judt one suggestion, try taking the ABS fuse out instead of flipping the rear sensor. It'll be easier IMO
Looks incredible well done. Only thing I'd say is that rear brake pedal is way too big, I know it folds but it's asking for trouble when dropped. And where's the Handguards?!
Good build though man 🙏🏻
Absolutely superb looking bike, fantastic work!
That looks absolutely smashing Abhinav👌
Love your work my friend, I do. I to question the need of the tank protection. In all my decades of riding I think I scratched the side on one and put a ding on the rear top of another (& very painful dint it was too). Mine is set up for long camping rides, weeks at a time, full 20/80 off-road tyres, but what I really want is the 49 tooth rear sprocket. How do I get one, can you help ? Please, I'm in Australia & have no options or links to order one.
This guy never disappoints. What an incredible design, loved it ❤
Very well mod. Love the paint work done on it. ❤
Phenomenal build Mr. Abhinav looks like it transformed into a performance oriented beast, wonder how the custom exhaust sounds though.
Love the build & video.
Very sharp looking bike. I love the satin black, and the color scheme fits well. I recently saw those Auto Engina levers, and I hope t hat they become available in the USA. They look fantastic.
I wonder if a sheepskin seat pad would make the rally seat more comfortable on a long ride?
Reduce the seat height of Himalayan 450 to 775mm by modification, without compromise the comfort and stability and riding quality of the bike
Royal Enfield should appoint this guy as their lead motorcycle designer. RE will achieve, what it's trying to.
Please make a video of this bike spreading it's wings on the highway, doing overtakes and going on a fast pace with all the tasty torque this bike has now 🤤
Looking Mint and Fresh
Thats pure art.
Great work Abhinav, I liked the full black version with red pipe highlights. The picture you shared on insta.😊 It was looking very stealthy.
Love it!Great job.👍
Have to considered xpulse handguards for this. As the handle is narrow it may be an option.
I like this. Good paint design too. I have the Hanle black with gold rims.
One rally tower and that will be 😍
Didn't expect the tank to look so much more beautiful simply by removal of those bars.
Congratulations Mr.Bhatt. Looks pretty and functional.
looks cool. Would look even cool if you install rally tower, I saw a video on channel "Sunny has plans"" and he has done it, the front setup in that looks cool. Also it makes handle feel much lighter
This is soo damn gorgeous. It needs to be featured by RE.
Kudos to all your efforts
Thank you
What a kickass looking bike , will see it in person at motoverse ✌️
That CLutch Lever,,,, i will try it on mine
Why no tail tidy? this is the perfect bike to put minimalistic brake/indicator lights and make that rear look almost "naked"
Agreed
What a beauty
I love what you did.
that Acerbis fuel tank looks dope !
Looks very damn pretty. I just got my hima, love it.
u nailed it dude.
This is gold ❤
А ты крут проделал много работы и сделал конфетку! Респект!
Hi abhinav, where did you get the rear body kit?
damn this looks sick" definitely a head turner.
awesome redesign👌
can u give the list of parts removed with their weights kgs pls?
Do you have any videos on the process from start to finish ?
Thanks
Yes. Everything documented in previous videos.
@ hi, been looking but can’t find them , would you have a link ?
Many thanks
Himalyan on steroids 🔥
Thats Gorgeous !!
What tyres are they again please? Front and rear?
For bhansar and road permit they ask foot a physical rc at the border while entering Nepal, how did you manage that if this bike is not owned by you? And where have you uploaded your Nepal series, if not, then why?
Brilliant job bike looks fantastic!!! Please tell me what you did with the front mudguard as its moulded to the fork protectors? Can you get other fork protectors? Thank you 🇬🇧👍
Hi. I just took a saw and hacked it.
It looks super nice.....great job...👍
Awesome modification ❤🔥
Looks Fucking amazing, Great Great Effort, I've been watching since you started off with R15 and since then you are up to some crazy project bikes, Just amazing great video I'm really glad I subscribed thankyou for not disappointing at all.
Great job brother!
awesome ride man 🎉
Bro are you planning to add quick throttle on your bike??.. even I can't to add but not getting anywhere
Hi. I saw an earlier video where with a touch a button; you were able to open a little circle inside the exhaust. Please tell us what is.
Maybe some more weight can be saved from the bulky headlight for a rally tower! Maybe!? 🤔
looks very good 👍
fabulous work Abhinav! Just one question: would the duke clutch lever damage the clutch in any way? (since its not built for this bike) I have the same problem on my Guerrilla of the lever being too far away and I’m looking for a solution.
No reason it would.
Great work, it looks awesome!! What battery did you install?
I'm curious, have you actually weighed the bike or are you guessing at the weight now ?
wondering how you manage with the custom exhaust , police in Bangalore charged 3k fine / same problem in Kerala too???
