      I’m not a dude, but I can go super low in chest voice around A0 with subharmonic technique and up to a C8 in head voice on a good day, and the notes I sang yesterday were some of my lowest 1st octave chest notes with polyphonic subharmonic techniques...
      frozen-mermaid-freya/new-polysubs-en-funny-vocal-crack-at-the-end (on s. cloud)
      But am not sure yet what was my lowest note yesterday!? I think it was lower than E1 or D1 maybe... Tho on a good day I can go around A0 with subharmonic vocal technique and around G1 / F1 with normal humming technique, as I have the widest natural singing range and vocal range, and my highest belt in chest voice was an A5, but I have hoarseness on most days, especially after trying to do certain types of inward bass, so my voice doesn’t always work the way it should, but I have the highest voice ever (sopranino) with 100% coloratura subtype, so I can still sing most of the notes that are part of my natural ranges, despite the hoarseness!

    Is there a difference between kargyraa subharmonics and normal subharmonic?

    • @kolazhu3475
      @kolazhu3475 2 месяца назад

      To answer my own question for any others, yes. Kargyraa subharmonics and basically made by using the growl technique (your false folds) and then making a normal noise from your true chords.
      Normal subharmonics are achieved by slipping into vocal fry but its a little different than that, I cant really explain it at the moment

  • @Capuzzi09
    @Capuzzi09 5 месяцев назад +2

    Very good! However, the notes from B0 downwards are not so good (intonation-wise), which is quite normal because the notes in this low frequency range are extremely close together. It is almost impossible to intonate properly in this range. Really great performance and technique. Bravo!

      That is a different technique. It’s a really, *really* hard one that I’m not very good at, but it’s still definitely achievable with enough practice. What you’ve described is called modal subharmonics (or “normal” subharmonics).
      What I’m doing is using both my true and false vocal chords simultaneously with a heavy focus on the false ones. If you want to learn more about modal subs, I’d check out David Larson. He’s one of the best users of that technique you’re going to find.
