Thank you for your video. I saw this panel today and really like it, I wanted to do the ship like you but I have never use chenille before, so I didn't buy the panel.
After watching your tutorial, now I really regret not buying the panel.
    Your blanket is GORGEOUS 😍😍🤩🤩🤩

Thank you for watching. It's not to late to buy that beautiful ship panel kit. Here is the link: www.fauxchenille.com/collections/chenille-it-quilt-kits/products/neverland-quilt-kit . I love This one. My next chenille-it projects are a big beautiful flower and another panel is butterflies. I can't wait to get started.

How did you get your Chenille It to fluff up nicely? I just did a sample for a project and it came out of the wash looking like hair, not like chenille. It all clumped together to one side or the other. Looks like a bad comb over. I'm really disappointed. It's almost like it's too long to fluff properly. I used the 5/8 size.

hmmm, I think it looks best if you have more than one row. I tried to sew down the middle of the basis tape and didn't have any problems.. Try it again with more rows. I think I saw that you can brush it a little to fluff it. Thanks for watching. I have two more Chenille -IT projects planed soon.

Were you able to work on a project with the Chenille-It? If so how did it turn out?

You can make this easy with yards of fabric cut 1 half inch strips

Yes you can!!! And it does come out better bc you can make them any width.. gives you more without those "bald spots" lol

When I washed the blanket the Dritz Bias tape sections came off in places where the Chenille-it didn't. At the end of the video it states that fact. I shook the blanket and white thread came off. I would be hesitant to give a blanket as a gift that was made with Dritz bias tape to a baby or small child. That is the take away.
