New to your channel. I just subscribed. Thanks for all 3 of these videos. I CV love the textures. I want to make the potholders, and try a panels, but in other videos with the rug is amazing. Thanks for sharing.
Thanks very much for all the details. Could I ask you about that large square patch quilt with the dark colours, do you have to cut on the diagonal for the rag square edges?
You are right I no longer see it there. I’ll have Brianna fix that today. If you email me I will quickly email you a PDF. Email me at info@fabricpatch.net
You are amazing, to take the time and teach us how is great but I love that you also show examples of good and bad. Saves us time and money, thank you! I have 2 matching panels that are loud and not very pretty, but if it was chenilled it would soften up and be lovely. But I only have 2 and do NOT want to invest and buy another. Is there a recommendation for using just 2 matching panels? Perhaps try and get the bottom 3rd layer to at least match colors? I don’t want to experiment and waste the panels ($12 each) so any help would be appreciated.
Im so sorry I just saw your question. My daughter added an app to my phone so I could see the questions and respond. You can do just two, but you will want to stitch pretty close together because it won’t be full. Make the base color something that will soften it. You’ll be fine. Another option for a loud panel is a convergence quilt by Ricky Tims. Have you seen one of those?
Quilting cotton, flannel, batiks… EVERYTHING you showed is a woven fabric. What’s the difference between the fabrics at the end that you’re calling woven?
This is the most informative video I have seen yet on making chenille. Thank you so much.
Exactly what I was thinking about and your explanation is phenomenal and easy to understand
Excellent instructions. You've done a good job of explaining how to get it right!
Thank you for sharing all these chenille ideas!
Just found your videos last night. Again, learning so much from you, love the tips and tricks you share.
Phenomenal video! Thank you Cindy!
Very neat video Cindy, the examples are perfect to support your lessons here. Thanks for the video!
Just wondering if you can/should sew the right sides together to get the color/s you want? As opposed to the opposite.
Could you use the strips of fabric to chenille using a wavy line in place of the straight lines?

When do you place the sheep to the quilt before you quilt it as you when you appliqué? I just loved what you did with the yellow quilt.
What type of fabric did you use for the sheep?
What is the woven fabric used??
How can I make my own chenille? What is the widest and narrowest width you recommend to make?
Narrowest would be 1/2”. Widest is 1 1/4”

One question: I didnt get whether the strips are cut on the bias or not...thanks..Im really excited about making this..😊😊
Yes they are on bias
Really informative, thank you!!
When making the hot pad do you bind it before using the chenille cutter or do you cut and then square it up and apply binging?
Love it!
I thought that the chenille blade was not the same as a regular rotary blade.
thank you, great job
How do you know you’re cutting through the first layers without cutting the bottom?
There’s a guide on the bottom of the slash cutter

LOVE PFAPP MACHINES
Awesome. I saw Clint Radcliff make a chinel journal cover that was so pretty that I thought I'd find out how to make it myself. TFS
I know it is kind of off topic but does anybody know of a good website to watch newly released movies online ?
Just WOW!!!
So interesting
