I have never seen this done before. I was watching a quilt shop sale ,so I had to look and so glad I found your video. Your work is amazing, and maybe one day I might try this. Thank you so much.❤🎉😊
I’m planning on making a chenille quilt for my great grand niece. I’d already bought several panels of an adorable lamb. I’d decided to chenille only the lamb itself. It’s been a long time since I’ve made any chenille, and did a search for any hints and tips. In viewing my search results, lo and behold, there was my lamb! You had the same idea of fluffing up just the lamb. I’d wondered about doing the face, but you helped me. I’d always used pins to secure the layers, but your use of glue dots was a really good idea. It’s never too late to learn new ideas. Thank you!!!
I just saw the thumbnail and it made me want to just tell you how incredibly knowledgeable, creative, and TALENTED you are 🙂 you've been absolutely instrumental in my sewing journey ✨ and beautiful inside and out!
I did chenille of steam engines using only 3 layers of the image. Not totally satisfied. Additional chenille projects used 3 layers and the 4th for the background as you described. I was very satisfied with those results. Thank you for your time and sharing with us. You are inspirational. Thanks.
What a cool technique. I thought I had heard of everything. I've never done anything with panels they haven't really interested me but now I want to run out and buy one. Thank you for sharing this awesome tutorial.
Goodness Laura ! What a lot of work goes into making this lovely effect. It was fascinating to see this done. I am not a quilter, never will be. I enjoyed this very much, thankyou for sharing your how-to, loved it. Super quilt !
Love this idea to chenille only part of the quilt. I made your snowman chenille quilt from your earlier tutorial. Now I'm going to make this one! Thanks for continuing to inspire us to try new techniques. Love all your videos!
How fun!! I never knew that's what chenille was!! My sister loves chenille. I'm going to look for a panel design she'll like and make her a throw!! Omg she'll be in tears!!
Hi Laura, loved what you did to Sean from "Sean The Sheep" who is the leader of the flock and a boy sheep. Unless you are a cartoon freak like me (in my late 60's and still watch cartoons and quilt) you wouldn't know she is really a he. By the way finally able to buy your book. Should be here in 2 weeks. Can't wait to give it a hug first as it is your book, then I'll open it, am making a quilt from your lessons that you said was in the book. God bless you and your family. Alda from West Australia xxx
Laura, this is absolutely adorable!!! Using a cute panel(s) is so much better than ‘regular’ fabric or flannel. I’m definitely on the lookout for panels now!! Thank you for sharing your ideas and expertise!
I made this type of chenille blanket years ago and i loved the finish. I made mine border to border, but I really like how you did your panel. I am now going to try your method. Thank you for the renewed inspiration.
I really enjoyed this. Awhile back I made a chenille pillow for my mom. It was a rose and looks very nice, but I really could have used your advise to make it more simple.
Love this idea. I have a flower panel, that l’m going to chenille but use the packaged strips of chenille. Few other projects in front of that though. I really do enjoy your videos and I have made your blue Jean quilt set on point. People love it
What a great idea. I just made my first chenille item, a rayon scarf, two days ago and absolutely love the technique. Thank you for broadening my horizons in terms of the projects I can use the technique with. What an adorable panel, which sadly doesn't seem to be available any longer. BTW, I just love your videos.
not weird at all. knitters are often accused of molesting yarn because we rub it on the inner arm & neck then stuff our face into it and breathe deeply. ahhhh....wool....
Oh my goodness that is soooo adorable.I have never seen a chenille been done before.... I don’t believe you mentioned what kind of fabric it was but it looked like flannel to me ? Thanks Laura 😘💐
Hi Laura, I need your input on which cutter is less stressful on the hands. With the onset of arthritis I would like to get the one that would help rather than hurt my hands. Thank you for your help on this.
I was wondering about flannel too. I just finished viewing her snowman chenille tutorial (thanks to other poster who mentioned it), and someone asked the same question. Laura's reply: "Yes, flannel will make it even softer." So excited as I have LOTS of flannel!!
What a grand idea! Did you ever get the sun bonnet sue quilt quilted? I would love to see it. I am going to try to make one for my granddaughter. I would love to see yours quilted!
She went into great detail to show you, she also showed you some tools to use to help protect the bottom layer, I'd watch it a few more times to take it all in.😊
I have never seen this done before. I was watching a quilt shop sale ,so I had to look and so glad I found your video. Your work is amazing, and maybe one day I might try this. Thank you so much.❤🎉😊
I wish we had the option to put a heart, yes I love that, so cute

Fantastic way to chenille only what you want to highlight! Thank you for the idea!

Oh Laura! That is just too darn cute! I have never seen a panel done in chenille. Thanks for sharing new ideas! 💞
So helpful! I'm going to make a gnome panel for granddaughter's first Christmas and just chenille the beards.

I really enjoyed this. Awhile back I made a chenille pillow for my mom. It was a rose and looks very nice, but I really could have used your advise to make it more simple.
I love this. A few years ago you did one similar, but I really love this so much more because it isn’t everywhere.
Excellent creativity, many thanks

I used placemat panels and used this technique. Loved the results!
This is one of the nicest chenille panels I have ever seen. Great job Laura. You are so creative.
I don’t have a clue how this will be accomplished! So exciting!
Wow ! Now that was interresting and a new thing I have learnt from you. Fascinating idea...thank you Laura 👏👏👏👍😍❤️️😘

That is so cute. I want to rub it on my face! That sounds weird, oh well.🤣♥️👍

Thank you so much for this tutorial, excellent detail!!
Oh my goodness that is soooo adorable.I have never seen a chenille been done before.... I don’t believe you mentioned what kind of fabric it was but it looked like flannel to me ? Thanks Laura 😘💐
It was 100% quilting cotton
So this cute panel is sold out most places. I found it on Etsy and ordered 4. Hope they come!
Thank you Laura for another great lesson. I could watch you boil water and learn something new. 😉💜
Adorable 🥰
Adorable and informative. Thank you.
So cute, I’ve got to try it!
How adorable ❤️
That is so cool! Looks easy but I think it would be difficult for me! I’m not a seasoned quilter!
Oh my goodness! This is the cutest thing ever!!!!! I also want to rub my face in it. 😆
That's so cute!
Beautiful! I love it!
Wow!!!! 😍😀👏👏👏

Super.Danke.❤
Thank you
Cuuuuuuute! I cannot wait to try this! Great tutorial (as always!)!
Such a great tutorial thank you.
This is so awesome for a baby quilt. Would this work with flannel❓
I was wondering about flannel too. I just finished viewing her snowman chenille tutorial (thanks to other poster who mentioned it), and someone asked the same question. Laura's reply: "Yes, flannel will make it even softer." So excited as I have LOTS of flannel!!
Oh yes flannel panels make beautiful Chanelle quilts
What a grand idea! Did you ever get the sun bonnet sue quilt quilted? I would love to see it. I am going to try to make one for my granddaughter. I would love to see yours quilted!
Bellisimo😊
Красота.
Did you remove that pin on the bee on the 3rd layer?
Can you use a fleece panel to chenille
I'm going to try making a chenille quilt and have one question..........why do you need so many layers of the same panel?
L-O-V-E
Exc!!!😊
When using the rotary cutter how do you only cut 3 layers without cutting the 4th panel?
She went into great detail to show you, she also showed you some tools to use to help protect the bottom layer, I'd watch it a few more times to take it all in.😊

Wow, I love this! Do you do paid online courses? I’d love to learn more from you! Lesley from the UK!
I am working on it
@@SewVeryEasy great news! I look forward to hearing when you are starting!
Also where did you get this material from?
@@lesleywatkins1172 it is from a company called Susybees
i would like to see what it looks like if you only “chenille” the lamb’s fur and leave bee and flowers in tact.
oh that would be nice too :)
شكرا👏👏😍
Picture not pitcher.
