The tone on tone at 35:22 I love that. I am so happy I have found you on this channel. Thank you Handi Quilter. Nannette is genius. I really want to make this Tone on Tone quilt. Closest thing I have seen to my favorite vintage Chenille spreads.!!

I always liked old chenille bedspreads but was put off by the multiple layering and slashing of the new chenille quilts I saw. This process makes so much sense and it looks like the possibilities are endless! I love this video so much and really enjoyed watching you two ladies demonstrate it all for us. The small elephant picture is so so cute! So inspired to try this out now.

This was fantastic. I loved the trunk show and all the demos. I have been working with chenille because I have always loved it. I also agree that most children love its texture. Thank you so much. Trish

How do you know? how much chenille-it to purchase? Do you actually measure every line? Also, can chenille be gathered while applying it for more bloom? Were you curving slightly when sewing down the center ? Thank you for showing all of your beautiful quilts and projects!

Wondering if anyone has tried adding the chenille with a couching foot? Would that be a problem since you can’t control the position of how it lays down?

We found it doesn't work great going through the couching foot.

Soooo....I don’t longarm, is there a video or better explanation of how to do a quilt. Piece, send to quilter, then add chenille? Or??????

    • @lynnfrost-moon7661

Not all of us are "long-armers" or can afford one. "Stitchin' Heaven" from Texas has a tutorial on chenille quilting using a regular domestic machine.
