- Hi viewers, Latest released Windows 11 needed two features one is TPM and another is Secure Boot. But the problem is when you enable the secure boot, It actually goes to the Bios again and again. Why does this happen? I have explained this with a solution.

what to do if it says "Check Secure Boot Policy on Startup" once enabled? can i just not use it at all on this pc? its 2:30 in the morning and im getting sick of trying to figure this out.
I have 2 disks in the computer, one (with the system loaded) and has a gpt format and the other disk has an mbr format (additional disk) or if secure boot is enabled, will the system turn on normally and detect my 2 disks normally?
For some people that have problems where the pc keeps booting back to the BIOS, remember it's not only your Windows drive that needs to be GPT but all other hard drives as well. Once all of them are converted to GPT, the BIOS will then boot to your desktop.
How do I know this?
Well I just realized one of my Hard Drives were MBR while the rest of them were GPT. Hence, I unplugged the Hard Drive which was MBR and it successfully booted to the desktop.

question because everything else i do doesnt work, what if when i load it up with it enabled somehow, it says check secure boot policy? ive been trying for hours to get it enabled just to find out i cant have it enabled and boot up windows at same time. do i really need another HDD/SSD for me to enable it because that just seems like a waste of time

So it might be a good idea then to unplug my external Seagate, flash, and anything else the OS would identify as a disk before completely giving up on the BIOS?

good video! I have a really weird problem. I udpated the MSI motherboard bios, and after I did I the UEFI boot cannot find de windows EFI partition. In deed. Now there's not windows EFI at all using the hackintosh OS X I have installed in the same PC. I switch back to the previous BIOS and it's the same. Now I just can boot into OS X. Such a weird thing

pro tip: if it doesn't let you convert, just type clean then convert GPT and it will work

I have dedicated ssd for OS. So if you also have that, then only need to convert that disk.
Hi, I'm trying to boot Windows 11 with "Secure Boot" enabled but after "POST" it goes to the "BIOS" setup screen. When I turn "Secure Boot" off, Windows loads properly.
I've installed Windows 11 with "Secure Boot: Enabled" and "CSM: Disabled" and it has been installed properly.
I have a hard drive with GPT and Windows installed on the HDD on a partition formatted as NTFS.

Hi @Tech Riot i have a question, i enabled my secure boot and i didn’t get any power/picture to my monitor after i enabled it. I had to unplug my gpu and reset the bios by taking the battery out of the motherboard. Do you think the problem is because i had mbr and not gpt?
Hey, I am not sure about it. If it's because of mbr or gpt situation then you could have seen the screen and it will go to bios again and again as I mentioned. But you can give a try and I have a video of how to convert from gpt to mbr or mbr to gpt. you can watch that video. I hope that might help you.

Let me get this straight !. You are making this change to a disc that already has windows 10 on it in order to upgrade to 10 Pro ?!. So if i do this to my disc that currently has windows 10pro on it , will be able to enable my secure boot and boot into my win10 system and then upgrade on the same disc ?! . I seam to have worked out my TPM and CIP settings and also secure boot but I'm constantly having to undo them to use the computer and obviously i can't upgrade to win 11 .

cmd showed "DiskPart successfully converted the selected disk to GPT format". But when i check disk format in disk management it's still mbr. Why?

I didn't convert my partition to gpt and tried to activate secure mode. After doing this, windows couldn't start. I had blue screen and my M.2 drive was not showing in my boot devices. What should I do?

Computer boots into bios when i am trying to boot to the installed windows OR the windows installation file. Nothing boots except the BIOS

when i turn off secure boot it loads me back into the bios settings it wont boot to desktop
After turning off secure boot, make sure that you boot device is legacy + UEFI is selected. then select boot device.

Yes, Because you are going to format the full ssd so no option to use it once the format is done. And also there are some paid method but costly.

That’s what I showed, You have to make it GPT. My ssd already was in GPT that’s why made it mbr then showed how to make it GPT again. You have also have to do it.

My computer won't even boot anymore, I've tried everything to reset bios, and I'm currently taking out every single component, and just rebuilding the computer but I get the feeling it won't help

@@Eren-ko3op lol I had to Google what an APU is, I've never heard the term before but it's just a CPU with integrated graphics? Don't most of Intel CPUs have integrated graphics? I wonder why AMD felt the need to come up with a new name for it.

You have to convert it after formatting/deleting partition of the ssd. That means while you are going to install windows that time.

@@gtx2083 Have you removed that for 30 min? or just removed it and plugged it again? After removing keep that away for 30 min. in this time bios erased all the settings and go to the default settings.

@@TheShojibShow no worries i fixed it, after i did the format , i opened advanced settings and then cmd , i used a command and this command added a windows boot manager on my bios , and successfully boot my system with secure boot on

If you didn't get the solution, Here is the explanation:
1. You have to make the MBR Partition Mode to GPT
2. To Do that, First, you need to format the whole SSD/HDD
3. So you are going to lose all of your data
4. And after formating the SSD, You have to follow my method which I showed at 1:09

@@busybusiness9121 when you get to the part where you manage where to install windows, you can just click delete on all of the partition drives shown. You will loose everything on your drive though.

There HAS to be more than that. Because I'm trying to upgrade to Win 11 and I can't do it. I unplugged all other drives EXCEPT the NVME drive I want to install windows on. I converted it to GPT drive, and when I install windows from flash drive, it starts the installation. However, when Windows reboots to finish the installation, it doesn't boot at all from the NVMe drive.
This is driving me crazy!
