    This video just save me. I did some tips from the comments here and now I installed Windows 11 successfully. If you guys are with blank screen, just do the steps on the video.
    After that, on BIOS configuration, when turn on secure boot, make sure to set STANDARD, not Custom. That is what makes the blank screen. Also don't forget to enable the PTT config.
    Thank you so much for this video. W11 working fine now

    My experience:
    I was able to download to windows 11 from 10 without enabling secure boot (but have enabled tpm 2.0). Just recently I decided to enable it due to application restrictions. (Note: all my drives are in GPT)
    I've got everything up to date and went into the (Gigabyte B450M DS3H) bios and disabled csm support to enable secure boot. Once I save and exited the changes, the computer was put in a power cycle (gpu lights/fan, cpu and case fans were going off and on (unable to get into bios/boost to windows)). I've spent a few hours diagnosing the issue (ram, cpu, gpu, and psu - these were all fine). So the only thing left was the motherboard itself. I've removed the cmos battery (let it out for 30mins) and short the pins, but it didn't reset the bios.
    I gave up on it and bought a new (Gigabyte B450M DS3H V2) motherboard. So I did the same process again on trying to enable secure boot... it did not work... this time I was able to boot to windows but not into bios. I tried resetting bios again, nothing worked... It was like it's fast booting to windows and skipping bios. If I tried to press the DEL key it shows (no display). The only way to get out of the black screen into windows was to power off the computer and deal with the fact that you can never get into bios.
    Few days later, I got replacement for the same motherboard... now I'm not touching secure boot until I know it will not brick my motherboard. So from my understanding gigabyte boards kinda shit.

      Wise choice. I'm tempted to mess with it sometimes but I know it won't let to any good. Sorry to hear about your experience, it sounds pretty annoying and stressful. EASY FIX FOR GIGABYTE MOTHERBOARDS.
    STEP 1: DISABLE CSM support
    STEP 2: click on secure boot and try to enable it. You will get an error. Restart the computer and enter bios again. Then it will allow you to enable secure boot. Make sure under secure boot menu change secure boot mode to standard instead of custom.
    Step 3: click on peripherals and enable Intel platform trust technology.
    I hope this helped you all.

      @TK-iy2qd 2 года назад +2

      @@anthonydiaz6101 first time I enabled secure boot I had black screen. I pulled out the graphic card and cleared CMOS by pulling the battery for 10 seconds. Then I connected the display wire directly to the motherboard integrated graphics card.
      I went back into BIOs and applied those settings I mentioned above for easy fix.
      Everything was smooth. I have windows 11 and no vanguard errors for gaming.
      Last step, put the graphic cards back in and plug the display wire.
      So I think you should get no black screen if followed those steps the first time for enabling secure boot.

    I don't blame you for saying f Win-11. I went against the little voice in my head last night and wound up doing things in the bios just to try to get Windows 11. To get to the point my PC became unusable after the last part which was something to do with register system keys, after I did and it restart, the issues began. I did everything I could, I took out the motherboard battery, reset the cmos (shorting it), took out my graphics card, and the list goes on. It turned on once before I did all of this and then completely stopped for hours and hours of trying to get it to work. I wound up putting a clean install of of Windows 10 on a usb and eventually it booted up with that, I really don't know why it decided to work because it wouldn't at first.
    At this point, I will not be messing with trying to get Windows 11 until I upgrade all of my hardware or at least my motherboard and graphics card which I do plan on doing when a graphics card is not way overpriced. I hope maybe newer stuff won't be such a pain (if it is I may skip the upgrade until it isn't so risky).
    Just be careful if you try to get Windows 11 on your pc or you could end up with a bunch of issues like I did and others have been.

    • @anthonydiaz6101
      @anthonydiaz6101  2 года назад +1

      100% man, I did the same thing. I knew I probably shouldn't have messed with it, but I got way too into it; trying to find a way to install it. Led to nothing good 😂. I'm super glad you were able to get it fixed bro. Other people haven't been so lucky. Maybe they might have some luck by doing what you did. I'm doing the same thing you are, though; just waiting until it's less risky. That will probably be much later on though because my computer doesn't meet the requirements and I don't really want, or need, to upgrade right now.
      Thank you for commenting!

      If you don't have integrated graphics, it won't work. If nothing else works, you may have to replace your motherboard. I'm no expert in this, so I don't have many answers.

      I got lucky I even bought one with integrated graphics. Buying a new mobo may work as well. Seen a few people in the comments doing that

    I am currently dealing with the same situation on Asus Rog Strix B450-F Gaming mb. I mistakenly enabled 'secure boot keys' and since then no signal on monitor. I tried to reset bios trough the CLRTC pins didn't work. I tried removing battery trick didn't work. I have tried MB's HDMI to see if I get any signal to display before and I did not get anything BUT I haven't tried it after I attempt to reset BIOS like you did. So now I will go back and try mb HDMI again.

      @@ProxiusMusic This method only works if you have integrated graphics. Other people have fixed it by getting a new motherboard. Not cheap but it's an option. Try reading through the comments in case someone has found a workaround that could work for you too.

    my pc did this last year and i couldnt fix it no matter what i did, as my cpu was an i7 9700F, but i just recently ordered a used celeron G4900 for like 20 bucks. lets hope it works, maybe if i fix the motherboard i could make a pc with them and give it to my friend or sell it to someone.
