      My pleasure my friend, so very happy to help. Actually I found out I had another issue, I was recording in Mono... a microphone I had just bought had some settings that I hadn't seen and I tested it and even listened to it while editing, on a speaker.... so I didn't know it was mono, I know better now hahah, so many things wrong, but you can be sure the next video will have all that worked out.

    Thank you very much for this very clear step-by-step description of the BIOS update of the ASROCK X670E Pro RS motherboard.
    Have watched these videos several times and followed step by step to update the BIOS of this motherboard to the latest stable version! And it all went well! Then I adjusted the BIOS settings and followed all the steps one by one! It helped me a lot to adjust the basic BIOS settings, thank you very much for that. From now on, after installing Windows, you can have the drivers installed automatically by activating the Auto Driver Installer in the BIOS! This driver installer is located under TOOL in the BIOS! And there is also a Live Update app that you can upload and with which you can automatically update the ASROCK drivers!
    Great motherboard ASROCK X670E Pro! Thank you again for your expert and clear step-by-step explanation, VERY GREAT!

From having to configure the autoexec.bat, configi.sys, himem, emm386, mouse.sys and so many other things, till now, simple in BIOS flash, you cant go wrong... well, unless you lose power but you can have a UPS for that, you should have one anyway, they are amazing.

    I have a 10-year-old DELL and they often send me BIOS updates. Have you had any experience flashing the DELL BIOS? Since I have nearly 20 updates (I bought the PC used and the BIOS was never upgraded) I'm reluctant that any one of them may brick my PC. Can I just go to the latest update or do I need to install each update consecutively?

    • @ThisBytesForYou
      @ThisBytesForYou  Год назад +1

      very familiar with the update process, I used to work for them as well haha. I HIGHLY recommend to go to www.dell.com/support/home/en-us?app=drivers and click to download the support assistant. Download and install it, you "may" need to restart afterwards before it truly starts working, but then afterwards, go back into www.dell.com/support/home/en-us?app=drivers then click your model and it will tell you all you need to download and BIOS' as well. Usually it will give you the latest.

    Hey, great video. Maybe you can help me even thou my system is a much older ASRock Fatal1ty ab350 gaming itx/ac.
    I have 2 windows usb sticks. Both UEFI mode. Both GPT partitioned with Rufus. One is FAT32, the other is NTFS.
    I try to install windows 10 and it loads the win 10 logo from USB stick, it stays like that frozen for a few seconds then the PC restarts.
    So I've tried CSM disabled already. I've tried fTPM on and off. I tried with fTPM on and also with secure boot on and off.
    Still no luck.
    If I use a legacy mode win 10 USB install USB and switch CSM back on. I just end up with a 4tb drive that gets converted to MBR and only works with 2TB.
    Now I've also tried diskpart to clean drive, convert to gpt, partition and format it accordingly before attempting the install but in legacy mode with CSM on it won't let me install to a GPT disk.
    You'd be the best RUclipsr if you can find the solution to making uefi win 10 install work. Thanks!
