My 2 current am5 boards are rock solid, and bios are now mature enough. That flashback feature is really a life saver option when you have a socket that has a long support time, as you don't need to get an older cpu to do an update to a newer one. This is a must for me when buying a new motherboard

New here, quick question: Just to confirm, I don’t need to connect a display for this process, right? I just insert the USB into the gray USB port, attach the 24-pin connector, press and hold the Flash button for 3 seconds, and wait until the flashing stops? No need to connect a display or monitor anything on the screen?
I’ve been building PCs for over 25 years, but now that I’m diving into servers, I figured it’s time to learn this. You’ve made it look so simple and easy, great job!

Thanks for the guide Mike. Just a point to note, in my BIOS settings I had psu ACPI setting 'Deep Sleep' to 'Enabled in S4 & S5' - this had actually disabled all usb devices from power when the computer was switched off, the bios update button didn't work either. This deep sleep setting needs to be disabled for the bios update to work.

I'm using Pro RS WiFi and have a problem with my RAM Klevv Fit V 6000 CL32 EXPO settings which I can only post if I set the clock to 5800mhz or less (I used to be able to go 6000mhz with EXPO from BIOS setting). I suspected it's because I did something with Ryzen Master EXPO OC. Because of that I actually can go 6000mhz only from Ryzen Master but it won't post if I change it from BIOS . I think Ryzen Master changed some settings in my BIOS and I have updated my BIOS, uninstall Ryzen Master, but the problem still persist.
I read somewhere you need to reflash your BIOS to clear up those Ryzen Master settings.

I ordered a 64 GB USB drive from Newegg when ordering my PC components. I got a bit worried when I realized that anything above 32 gigabytes needed to be partitioned. However after I download it the windows install media to this drive the drive was automatically partition to FAT32 I do not know why/how exactly. I checked the file format prior to installing Windows media it would only let me change to exfat after the Windows media install the drive now reads 32 GB FAT32 format. Or Just figured I would share this information with others.
