This CEO 7 is one of the best Martins ever made - I had the opportunity to play almost every guitar in their line at the factory multiple times and my top picks are easily the D-18, the CEO-7 and the 000-15. I honestly think the Martin mahoganies are the magic in their entire fleet, but that's just me. This particular guitar responded so well to flat picking and also finger style playing too - a very intimate sounding instrument but with volume, which was surprising.

You have good taste. I just paid off my D18 and I’m about to buy the CEO 7. I don’t have the 000-15 but I do have the Guild OM-120, which fills the role.

it's my favorite accoustic. It does have it's flaws but overall it's a fingerpicker's dream. The size, the neck, the tone ... very nice. The tuners are not as smooth as on my other martins and the top is a little less stable (maybe therefore a bit more resonant). But nothing that keeps me from using it most of the time

Jarvis, your channel has made me smile for a few years now: thank you! I love this guitar, and it’s even more to my taste than the L-00.
Keep doing what you do and bless you!

I just bought a CEO-7 two weeks ago and love it. I still have the original plastic bridge pins in it but changed the tuning machines to Waverly open-back machines. Please describe the impact switching the bridge pins to Martin’s Luxe Liquid Metal pins had with the guitars sound.

Happy New Year, Jarvis! Looking forward to listening. I have a Martin Bellezza Bianca on the way to my house, arriving tomorrow. I wish you could check it out! 😎

The CEO 7 is the best guitar I have played (my opinion). I often lean toward Taylors for playability. I have owned the CEO 7 for 3 years. It may have subdued the acquisition of any new guitars. Which is good for me. With the significant price increases, I may be done.

There's one problem with my CEO 7...I can't seem to put it down!!! I can play this for hours on end and never get bored. So many voices and emotions without a capo, with a capo, strumming, finger-picking, flat-picking. A dream Martin guitar!

Hi, your videos are awesome! Could you tell, please what strings action do you use or prefer or suggest. I have Martin OM-21 and it was pretty hard to play but I reduced to 2mm or even less 1.75mm on 12th fret for low E. What would you suggest maybe it is a bit too low for an acoustic guitar?

Wish the price was better. They should make one of these in there Mexican plant so the average working stiff could afford it.

Martin never intended to market the CEO models to the low end of their model spectrum. The CEO-7 is intended to be an option for those interested in the 00-18 and 00-28 Standard Series models.
