I’d love to see more wedding venue builds like this for different world types. For example, a sulani wedding venue, a countryside wedding venue (for windenburg or henford on Bagley), etc. :)

@@lilifooo i guess the sims team forgot to code the wedding venue lot as a valid place to select when planning a wedding. i have no clue how that got past play testing and how they didn't fix it.
@@navareeves8976 ohhhh i see.. that sucks... EA keeps releasing stuff and their packs/kits are quite expensive even on sale and they cant afford to fix some base game bugs? so sad :(

I believe when she says she’s “linking them” she means that they’ll be the videos that pop up at the end as suggested videos. Not in the description
I just make my "wedding venues" into parks and stick all the required items in an inaccessible basement if they don't fit the ~vibe~

I had a wedding venue once that must have had an invisiable set of monkey bars coz sim children would just be levitating in thin air but doing the monkey bar animation everytime my sims got married there. Honestly, I left it as it was quite funny.
I love the slight edit of the base game lots... I always feel so guilty replacing base game lots in my saves so this is a good compromise lol

Yes! She talks to much about how much she loves build CC, but doesn’t really use it because people can’t download the builds as easily. I’d be happy to watch a CC build even if it means nobody can download it.
I want to see what she can do without all the pack limitations. If anything it will inspire me to give my sims a house.

The thing that works okay when playing with wedding (not the pack), is to have a sim that not getting married and do a group. (I often take kid).
And then choose like "sit togheter" "take piece together".
Works quite good for me!

No, there's basegame groups, though you can only have a total of eight sims in one. Which, tbf, is the same size as a full club which IS get together.
I’m so happy this video exists. Literally yesterday I tried to have a base game wedding and used that SAME build from the last video. So crazy we both found it & used it in like 24hrs!! Then today I was thinking I wanna build my own but idk where to start.. are you reading my brain this content is everything I want rn!!
You should redo the museum and call it the museum of love. That way the wedding stuff seems more natural if you want to use it again

Omg, I literally had a nightmare that I bought the My Wedding Stories pack and couldn't do weddings normally anymore. Only just realised that was a dream lol.

I don’t know if other people are having the same glitch but my pregnant sim can’t cook… her husband can just fine. I’ve restarted the game, reset the sim, moved the stove/oven, etc. to no avail. So random.
Update: Sim gave birth and can now cook as normal…
That happened to me before when my sim was pregnant. I know you said you moved the stove, but did you try deleting it and putting a new one? That’s the only way I was able to cook again.
I dont have that problem but my sims currently cant or wont clean up the plates after they eat and I cant move the plates to the bin either...it took my sim 6 goes b4 she cleaned it up super annoying...😑
you can also try resetting the objects or repairing your game

@@sinead545 oooh yeah i don’t know anything about console haha. on pc you can right click your game in origin and say “repair game.” not sure if there is a similar option on console
You should re-do your cow plant wedding venue to include the mini cow plant from paranormal and a weddigcake with the cake topper from the new pack. Wold absolutely love to see it!

one work around i figured out with the wedding lots not working without the new pack (although get together is required): place the wedding lot down at the bluffs in windenburg, but make sure the lot type is still the bluffs if you get a build off the gallery. since you can host a wedding at the bluffs, it essentially works the same. obviously still less idea than, you know, the game working correctly, but at least it'll work till the bugs get fixed.

3:10 You can, but you have to place the tiles first and then the floor piece
I legit did this exact renovation as soon as the venue was added. And even our the arch in the same corner. I turned it into a Chapel like building with a kitchen and toilets then added a gazebo outside for cutting the cake. Great minds think alike I suppose!

I sometimes make restaurants lots for wedding venues, that way it can look like there are tons of people at your wedding reception. I just make the wedding ceremony and dancing outside the restaurant, and often just have them "elope" instead of planning a whole wedding event.

Simsie, just know the main builds I use are the simple base game renos that you do. I basically make my own save file because I can’t play on those overly decorated lots (even though they’re beautiful). So my custom save is basically 80% your Sims and builds. Cause you’re pretty much the only builder who’s chill like this but it still looks pretty. So thank you. 🥰

The basegame museum makes such a beautiful wedding venue. Sim me would love it, real me would struggle all day due to tree pollen allergies but hey, its so pretty!

The first thing I do when I download your lots is delete 90 to 100% of the trees because they just get in the way of my gameplay 🤣

Idk if anyone wrote this but to paint those areas which are blocked because of the rounded build you can drag it and make smaller then paint and then drag it back❤️

I love to see more adjustments to base game lots! I think they're all a bit dark or outdated. Or I've just seen them to many times :P
One of my sims has a huge garden, so I turned part of it into a wedding space! Your edit reminds me of it, with the different areas and the hedges. I did all the seating and table stuff too, even though I figured some of the guests might just wander into the house and start using her computer or tv, lol. (I guess I'll lock the doors and hope they stick around for at least a little while. XD)
For those who didn't know, if you have the season pack installed as well as the wedding pack, you can actually use the flower arrangement table to craft your own Wedding bouquets. It's a nice touch once you know....the pack becomes usable 💀

Thank you for making a base game lot with a lil change. As a new simmer with an old laptop that can't afford all the packs I appreciate knowing that I can use this and not have a million things that I have to replace because I don't have the pack due to funds or my laptop dying. This is really appreciated

I had forgotten you existed to be honest, but I checked your channel to see you still seem to be doing just fine and trucking along as you always have! Not that it means much, but a few years ago I was watching many of your videos and I remember it being a significant part of my day that helped me ignore how stressful my life was at the time. That's weird. I temporarily changed the beach in Sulani to an outdoor wedding venue and selected that lot type. It let me choose it for the wedding. The wedding was glitchy but I got through it. Not every event worked of course but they got married ok.

love your idea I barely visits or uses museums in game lol plus I like giving multiple lot usage to 1 lot tho same time I gotta admit I never made any wedding somewhere it's best make one at sims house I like prepare all foods, place to dance, tables for guests, even if it's teporary wedding at home is best for me so this entire wedding venue type is the thing I don't need I'd rather got cemetery instead or even better- a temple lot type which would be working as cemetery, wedding venue and for sims to meditate, perfect to place religious or just spiritual lot type.
Two ideas making a wedding venue for each world with only that pack it comes with and also you should tweak all the old lots kinda like deli is doing!

I added an entire wedding venue in the Magnolia Blossom Park and it is amazing. It's very pretty and I updated the bathroom area for a better use of space in there.

I hate that Myshuno Meadows is perfectly set up for a wedding and reception and you can’t set it to host a wedding at all. You can elope there but there’s no way when you go through the wedding pack event generator to go there and they won’t let you change the lot type.
since when? I've gotten married there. Did that break with the new pack?
@@diannekamphausen6386 Like I said it doesn’t show up if you try to schedule a wedding with the new pack. It’ll show up as a lot to have a dinner or party but not the actual ceremony. You can only have sims elope.
So I just realised I've *never* been to this museum...
