Same it’s so amazing I just went there yesterday and I rode it with my younger sis she is 7 and she said she liked it so it was worth the wait!
My favorite roller coaster I’ve yet rode in all my 41 years of life.
It’s definitely up there for me too. Sadly, I think my favorite rollercoaster was Volcano (now closed) at King’s Dominion.

Holy cow, now that is a roller coaster, we have nothing like that in Texas, guess its time for a road trip to Orlando.
Bruh Ima tell u right now! This was the most insane roller coaster I've ever rode in my life and I've been all over and have rode a many. I'm from TX my self having grown up with the rattler ect. I clutched my chest the whole way through just from the sheer shock of how blown away I was. Theres a part on there that shoots u even faster once u hit it. Only to be compared to the Iron Gwahzi at Busch Gardens Tampa.

I’m 64 and have ridden it twice. Very smooth, but very terrifying. Plan to ride it again. Hulk is nothing by comparison now. Hagrid’s is the closest (thrill wise), but even so, a distant second
Really? Mine would be Velocicoaster, Hulk, Hagrid. But the next time I go back I’ll ride all 3. Maybe add Rip Ride Rocket into the mix.
Oh man, now I really need to ride Hulk and Velocicoaster!!

I wasn’t scared but my boys are definitely very reluctant about riding. But once you do it is so much fun and worth it.

Idk how popular of an opinion this is but Velocicoaster is a lot more fun to watch than to actually ride. For how menacing it looks I was shocked at how tame and kinda boring it was. Really wish Intamin or IoA would do something about making the launch faster or tweaking the trains so they run better.
Velocicoaster isn’t for everyone. But I agree with you it is more moderately intense. I think it’s the right mix for IOA as they are looking for something lots of their guests would enjoy riding.
I enjoy the ride very much but I always wish the top hat was at least 200 ft or so, it would make the ride 20 times better. Something I also noticed is that on the second launch not all the LSM's are being used, something to mention

I have a nighttime ride through of Hagrid’s that I’ll upload sometime this week. And it maybe the longest name of any coaster. Maybe I’ll look that up?

how did you record this ? like what camera and how didn’t it fly out the ride ? btw, i rode this in june and i was terrified and definitely cried the entire time. not a fan of coasters at all, very intense ride, very. felt every g force, hated it 😭
Would you ride it again or be reluctant to? I feel like Hagrid’s is my limit and I sometimes feel anxious getting off of it. I don’t like the “floating” or “weightless” feeling you get on rollercoasters so I’m worried I’ll absolutely regret riding the Velocicoaster.
@@cantfiteveryheart i actually don’t regret riding it. it is very intense though and you do constantly get that dropping feeling in your stomach the entire ride. now in videos it may not seem fast buh it is VERYYYY fast, i had put my head down n it was so hard to pick it back up due to the force of the air on me. it is scary buh i feel like it was a necessary experience and i wanna actually try to enjoy it next time. i hate roller coasters so i understand your pain, buh i think you should start wit smaller rides n build up. it is more intense then hulk so don’t let anybody lie to you and say it isn’t 😂
@@cantfiteveryheart I was absolutely terrified of roller coasters until I went to universal orlando last month. I ended up facing my fear and taking on the hulk and had tons of fun, then went on velocicoaster and enjoyed it even more. even if coasters do scare you, I’d highly recommend trying velocicoaster for the experience. It’s definitely worth it in the end.

@@bri.6716 okay but was this a “I’d never been on a rollercoaster, but I tried them and I’m hooked” or “I had done them before was still super nervous about them and then enjoyed them”? I ride them but I don’t enjoy them. I rode the mummy a few times and couldn’t enjoy it. Hagrid’s is my limit I think. The backwards part is where I feel the worst. It’s so intense for me. :(

No you don’t get that feeling. I went last week but I didn’t enjoy it too intense for me. In some parts you feel out of the seat

I don’t remember the stomach drop feeling but you definitely feel the g’s as you’re launched over the 155 ft top hat!

really? nothing special. Liked Hulk better in that park. Best every in my mind does not exist anymore - great american scream machine in Great Adventure. And no theming. Hagrid at least has a theme to it, a good story and ride.
