As a person who’s been on this ride, trust me when I say that it goes much, MUCH faster than it seems in the video. You really have to experience it personally to get the real experience
I rode the Velocicoaster and I like it. Its faster than the Hulk. I like the Hulk and Velocicoaster. I will ride the Velocicoaster again when I'm at Universals.

@@thevulture0617 I rode the velocicoaster and made it my first ride of the day because of the long line. Even though it was a long line, it went by so fast. I like the velocicoaster. I will ride it next time at night and see what you mean. I don't see why the velocicoaster would be different at night than during the day.
@@elizabethputrus2138 Hulk is sometimes good sometimes not, depends on the day, when Hulk has a bad rattle then it’s terrible, but then again when Rip Ride has the bad rattle it always does it’s awesome
@@thevulture0617 I rode Hulk twice and I felt fine getting off. It didn't make me sick at all. Its nice and smooth. I rode velocicoaster once and I like it. It rides smooth. I haven't rode rip ride rocket I can't say nothing about that roller coaster yet.
This is the best roller coaster I've ever been on. Super smooth, don't get jerked around at all which is crazy because it's really fast and does lot's of twisting. The Queue for the ride is pretty good too, the animatronic raptors in harnesses were a nice touch. Would love to see the dinos in the river portion of the JP River Adventure get updated to more realistic animatronics, still one of my favorite rides.
I mean this is just a marvel in design. That top hat followed by a stall is so intimidating and I’m sure it feels so fun
I don’t know how much I would of regretted it if I didn’t go on this ride, I was terrified and this was the first “big” roller coaster I’ve been on, I was almost not about to go, but then I did, best experiences of my life. Got me addicted to coasters, rode every coaster in universal, and this one 3 times. You guys have to ride this

Uh… I must say from the beginning when it rolls back and zooms forward??? Pure intensity. I was hollering at the top of my lungs with my head crammed into the side of my daughter the whole ride. Glad I can say I rode it once.. but never again. It’s too intense.

This ride was nice i had to wait 1 hour with my dad in line, i was scared but i just forced myself to get strapped in the ride and just go and I don't regret it at all. It was super fast!
We were in the back row riding it today for the first time. the poor kid in front of us passed out, and he was in our photo at the end crumpled over LMAO. i cant blame him. ive never once come close to almost passing out on a ride but the first climb i saw stars.
I rode it yesterday this doesn’t show you the real speed not to mention it was my FIRST EVER rollercoaster and we got off and I was speechless it was way better than I thought I knew it was great but not THAT great

I've been on this ride and at night it can be insane!
I am only 39 but when I reached to 32, I knew I had to retire from roller coasters like this. My body will pass out. I exercise often, just cannot do it.
They should have put at least half of this ride indoors and put a lot of themeing around it instead of it all being outside with very limited themeing.

I’m so curious why the ride in real life has no music playing at all? I’ve ridden it over 10+ times. Its silent besides the sound effects you hear before you launch. I feel like music would really heightened the ride experience. I feel like something’s missing.
one of the craziest things about the ride is how safe it is, but the design is so genius that you still felt like you were falling. the speed on this ride is absolutely nuts it's unbelievable

People really don’t understand how good this coaster is compared to a classic coaster. There is no lift hill, no jagged brake run, no flip slow down, lap bars are insanely well done, it has sound and has theming and has amazing lighting at night, the line to go on is amazing, it gets through people fast, it has a barrel roll over a beautiful lake. Sure you may think Steel Vengeance is great, but this is a different breed.

I love that there isn’t any lift hill those are boring or anxiety inducing for some most of those rides don’t feel as unique.

Dude, for me, it was like 80% of the entire ride that I was coming out of my seat.
Called airtime. You want a mix of + and - g’s airtime is the -‘s and the push in is the +’s. And that part were you hang is the 0 g stall. You just weightless.

I’m in this group called Orlando Informer, we’re going to Universal later this month after the parks close, we get to stay till 12:30 at night, it’s gonna be wild
A couple public middle schools in the area actually get to go, it's the 8th grade class trip, called Gradventure, basically we get to the park around 12pm, and don't leave til around 12am, it's supposed to be loads of fun but of course covid ruined it for me.
Cedar Point was opened 6 PM - 12 AM for Halloween, it was awesome, but when you get home its already 1 AM - 2 AM ish

Literally 0:54 was the best part of the entire ride. You can hear it from the screams in the video but It felt like a powerup as you proceed to accelerate even faster than the speed you were already going. Truly incredible, waited a little over 2 hours in line and it was for sure worth, I mean it.

if u guys ever want to i recomend going after spring break rush like early april then go the weather then is super nice and we went on wednesday the less busy days the wait was 35 it said but we only waited 20 mins u really should go!!!!!!
Exactly! We rode it twice last Monday during our Orlando holiday and it was absolute madness how you feel like going twice the speed you went up until that moment
This is solely the main reason I keep rewatching this video. The screams mixed with the sound of the boost is the closest footage online that can even replicate the feeling on going through that part of the ride

high speed + things really close to the track is always a great combo. the best coaster at my home park hits 70 miles per hour as well, but it's backwards, and ever since they added lights to the launch tunnel the launch has felt way faster

I’m almost 44 years old and I can say without a doubt hands-down this roller coaster is the best ride I have ever been on in my entire life, and a video will never do it justice, because the whole experience is awesome because of the flips and the quick turns, and the way that you’re seated in the train. It took me no time to name this, my very favorite and best roller coaster, actually best ride, I’ve ever been on in my entire life! You absolutely have to ride this in order to understand what I’m saying.
I'm dying to ride but my fear holds me back I'm 46 and dying to ride this!!! I always go hype myself up then back out like a chicken haha going again in Nov and idk that I'll be able to man I need something to get over that fear!!!
I’ve been on every coaster at Cedar Point, and Velocicoaster is my favorite. I’ve loved Millenium Force for the last 20 years and this tops it.
This ride is awesome but is my second favorite. You gotta try the Iron Gwazi tho. That one is nuts.

This is easily my new favorite ride at Islands of Adventure. Fast, smooth, scary as hell, awesome themeing and not a single slow moment, but plenty of powerful airtime. The fact that you do the whole thing with only a lap restraint takes it to another level!

Man, that’s so smooth. And that airtime stall on the last hill climb? That’s where the money is. It seems both of the Jurassic World rides were meant to be rode at night, they both look so spectacular after sundown.
Only thing I feel missing was a final surprise jump scare; like an animatronic raptor coming out of the wall or ceiling at the end.
As someone who developed an irrational fear that a velociraptor was going to eat my toes while I slept when I was 7, I will be riding this ride.

I remember going around that 2nd raptor thinking “Oh man it’s slowing down” and then being rocketed thru that 2nd tunnel like “nvm” lol
I went on this during the day after Christmas at night. What astonished me the most is when I went through the highest point in the loop I stared at the sky and saw fireworks, red, white, and yellow. It was majestic in a sense, time felt slowed. I loved the ride 😊
This is one of, if not the best coasters I have been on, both Universal and Intamin did a great job!

Ever since I was a teenager I have loved thrill rides. Believe me when I say this I was absolutely SHOOK by this by this coaster. I have never experienced anything like it in my life. My hands were shaking legit 5 minutes after I got off. It's incredible. Do yourself a favor and get your ass in the seat of this incredible experience.

I rode this this past Wednesday!! It was amazing!!! My son and I bonded on this rollercoaster being that it was his first coaster with loops! He could not stop talking about it!😁 Awesome footage by the way!!👍🏽

The thing that isn't captured is how many times you feel that lift coming out of your seat. It's just a lap bar (if I recall) so it feels like you're going to die numerous times. This was by far the scariest coaster I've been on at Universal! (Have yet to try the Rip Ride Rocket though, which I've heard is WAY less smooth of a ride)

Had the privilege of going on it three times last week Friday and I gotta say it is INCREDIBLE. It is one of the best rides I’ve ever been on-especially at nighttime.

@@Abe_Plancher Hulk was my first coaster I’ve ever ridden that had an inversion (upside down) and honestly I was a bit nervous, but once you get launched into the layout it’s just so fun and it’s one of my favorite coasters. I’ve ridden it about 4-5 times

Hadn’t gone on a coaster more intense than Hagrid’s before this one. And I experienced it just like this, at night in the front row. 10/10 experience. I’m absolutely going to be a coaster enthusiast now
Hands down the best ride I've ridden ever. It is really intense at some points but it is SO worth it. Even my younger kids loved it as their first coaster. And yes it does go faster than it looks in the video for sure.
I LOVE this coaster. During our week down in Orlando back in June 2021, while the wife was still asleep during our stay at the Margaritaville Resort in Orlando, and our daughter spending 4 days with her best friend playing with Mickey Mouse, I drove to Universal early mornings during the official opening weekend of this coaster, and rode it 3 times each day, IN THE FRONT, and LOVED IT! I figured what the heck! We are Universal Preferred Member Passholders with free parking. So this was OBVIOUSLY a NO BRAINER for me!!!
And then, on our last 4 days of our vacation, we stayed at the Hard Rock Hotel, onsite at Universal which allowed my daughter, her best friend, and I, to ride the Velocicoaster at night multiple times.
Again.....WHAT A GREAT COASTER!!!

I've gone on this ride over 7 times now and I will say, it still gives me the chills even in a video.
This has to be the best rollercoaster in the world, might not be the tallest, fastest etc. But it has the total package, the theming inside is excellent, the colour of the track is sublime and so is the music and a lapbar! Let this be a lesson for the competition out there. This is the new standard imo.

For anyone scared to ride this for the first time read:
I was terrified for this ride and watched all the pov’s too. First thing don’t worry about being too young to ride, there are so many Children riding this and all of them come of smiling, even I’m only 13 and loved it. If you are scared for the drop, don’t be. You don’t feel it at all! I was mostly scared for the launch but it’s not as fast as it looks. If your scared of that dropping feeling in your stomach then you should know you won’t get that feeling on this ride. It’s just fast, that’s it! A lot of people on RUclips say they feel like they are falling out if they’re seat on this ride and that scared me, but it’s not actually the case. The lap bar is super tight, and even with my arms up the whole ride I felt secure in my seat. If you can do the launches on Hagrids or hulk you can definitely do theses launches since your going so fast you don’t feel the stomach butterfly’s just the speed. This is now my favourite ride ever, so please if you feel scared of this ride have a go!

Wow. Just did a night ride on this absolute beauty and it was incredible. The second launch is breathtaking 😍. Honestly just get in the queue for this ride no matter the wait time, it is usually shorter than what it says
I went on this a couple weeks ago. I just recently started liking roller coasters, specifically ones that are inverted. I was so nervous and shaking the whole time while I was in the queue and my heart was pounding. Next thing you know, I came of the ride smiling so much and wanting to ride it again. It is not bad at all, it just may be so fast that you don't even remember riding it. By far my favorite ride ever and you guys have to try this ride.
Front row, night time, hands up the whole time makes this the most exhilarating/terrifying experience I’ve ever had on a rollercoaster!

I just went on this today for the first time and I legit thought I was going to fly out of that thing! It is by far the scariest yet the BEST rollercoaster I’ve ever been on! Amazing!!!!!!

This is such an intense coaster! It was a tremendous experience that I recommend everyone try at least once.
I got on it 17 times in 4 hours! I’ve had my share.
I watched the POV before i went on the ride, and this does basically nothing to prepare you for the sheer speed
As someone who just rode this 2 days ago (dec. 16) I can personally say this ride flows way better than the video makes it. I used to think the layout was weird but when on it, it actually flows much better. 😊
I thought it was slower but when I went on it I screamed because it’s so fast I couldn’t proses anything that was happening

@@ohiostatebuckeyes4951 the top is the most exciting part, when you’re going up, it launches again with more speed and you can see almost the whole part in the top. When your going down, it makes you want to have more.

I wish I could’ve ridden that twice this summer, this is why:
1. I had my cross on, and it felt like it was gonna fall off my face (Granted that was my fault)
2. And even though this was a mix of Funny, Scary and Exhilarating, when we were going up and over, it was almost at the top, but it failed to make the climb AND DROPPED US BACK !!!! 😂 (But the rollback got us more time on the ride, plus we got too back up on previous track to launch, I bought a shirt too commemorate this wonderful first experience 😂)
This ride has made me love rollercoasters again - sat in the front, back and rode at night in one day. It's fast and thrilling but so smooth.
Me and my cousin were there back in October for my graduation from college. This ride was shockingly and incredibly fast! At one point, I almost couldn't tell where we were because it was going so fast, but it was definitely fun. It was so intense that I had to laugh in amazement once we got to the end!!
Love this ride!! The barrel role at the end it’s the scariest part to me lol. Can’t wait to go back and ride it again!

Best coaster I’ve been on, and I rode at night as well. Hulk is still awesome, but this thing is on a different level.
I agree with others, this doesn’t do the speed you’re going any justice at all it’s much faster than this makes it look. You’re physically out of the seat for half of this ride, and the way it twists is so super smooth yet keeps you guessing what direction you’re actually going to go continually which just adds to the thrill.
Anyone complains and gets this ride neutered I’m personally going to be in the front office complaining about the complaint.
This is the best rollercoaster I have ever experienced in my life. It’s pure euphoria. As cool as this video is, it’s a lot more intense when you’re actually on it
I've rode this twice! I'm on the resort bus about to ride it a third time
