I started the diet a month ago. I have a lot of experience with the keto diet. However, four weeks in, I still feel quite tired/defected. This video confirms exactly what I was expecting. This isn't just keto flu. I'm still processing a lot of toxins. Cheers People, stay healthy.
@@CarnivoreCoachSylviame too, I got COVID too, now I'm really zapped of energy. I'm craving heavy cream and butter and beef patties. I am 58 days in and haven't weighed I will do that at 6 months months. Magnesium Glicinate helps with elimination and sleep at night. I want all that energy that so many people talk about. I have low energy and sit at a desk at home for work, don't get out much and high stress caretaking for parent. I'll keep pushing forward to get healthy. Starting weight 205 lbs and 5'7' tall, 52 years old.
Me too. I did Keto and had great success several years ago so fairly fat adapted but still I was eating carbs again so I’m sure I built up toxins. I’ve been on carnivore 19 days now and noticed I’ve been very light headed last 2-3 days. I’m going to start adding electrolytes to my water and see how that goes.
I have experienced this a couple of times in the ten months I’ve been carnivore. Each time, it was just before a weight loss “swoosh.” In the weeks between, I’ve experienced plateaus and slow weight loss, as in going a pound up, then slowly dropping two, for weeks at a time. I think this is my body going through cycles of re-stabilizing then detoxing, and then fat loss in larger pushes is the end result. Ultimately, just treat your body well, drink lots of water, eat fat, beef, and salt, throw in some eggs, and get plenty of rest. Your body is doing a lot of work rebuilding itself! Be kind to it! And remember your body is wise, feed it properly and listen to what it’s telling you. Update: 1 year and 3 months in…. Slow and steady wins the race. I’ve experienced all of the things in this video. Also, a pile of people around me came down with Covid and I was exposed. I did NOT get sick unless you consider a slight sore throat for a few HOURS and then nothing more to be sick? No full blown illness in over a year now. Just the detox cycles now ands again and slow weight loss combined with a ton of muscle building.
Thank you. I needed to hear this. 3 weeks into this. 45, quite fit, slim - but haven't been able to build muscle for 15 years due to adrenal fatigue (and I believe I have leaky gut). Big carb fan - and have now realised how much I love sugar too (as I have been craving it). Crazy thing over the past 3 weeks - my arms and shoulders have increased in muscle mass haha! I haven't even worked out. But my work is physical, and I surf once per week if I'm lucky. My skin looks better, and my keratosis spots are disappearing. Wow. Have been sleeping much better too. My biggest struggle is low energy. Last week was particularly difficult at work. This is why I searched for this vid... cause part of me begins doubting that it will work for me, and I'll get my energy back. Anyway, I'll definitely keep on! My body is changing, adapting and detoxing. Must give it time :) Good luck to everyone else. Keep going!
Bless you internet stranger! This vid should be mandatory for all beginning carnivores everywhere! Day 24 and I am dying. ALL symptoms especially joint pain. I am so motivated to push through because of this vid and I have watched them all. This one stands alone in clarifying what we are going through and why. Thank you! ❤
I needed to hear this! I am 70, have had a lifetime of eating junk, am gluten intolerant, and so sick, tired, terribly weak, lots of joint pain from this, extreme brain fog, terrible diarrhea, and two weeks in. Thank you so much for explaining all of this. Why don’t Dr Chaffee and the rest of them explain this?! God bless you for taking the time to make this video. Guess I’ll live half the day on the couch for a while and accept that this fatigue and extreme brain fog will end.
Just started 3 days ago. And I was wondering what in the world can’t sleep and sweating bad and lots of diarrhea. Now I know. I’ve been drinking almost daily for over a year. No drink for just 5 days. Thanks for this great information. Much needed today.
Make sure your drainage pathways are open ready for the detox! Dry brushing, sweating, exercise, bowel movements. Will allow the toxins to leave the body quicker! I think 😂
FINALLY, such a complete video in technical terms about health and what we will go through. I'm from Brazil and here we don't have much information yet about the carnivore diet. I have severe depression and I urgently need to heal myself to have a beautiful life where I know that God wants to give me and be the best for my wife and my 3 daughters. Thank you very much for your video, it encouraged me to continue and understand what was happening to me, I study a lot and I haven't seen any video talking like you! Greetings from Brazil!!!
Thank you for making this video. Not many other people talk about this big wave of keto flu/ die off/ herxing that happens when you cut sugar, fiber, carbs. Your gut bacteria/yeast are going to go thru a big change
Thanks for the video. I’m 67 and past the one month mark - I’m suffering from brain fog, cramps, aches and real tiredness - I’ll be lucky if I get motivated to accomplish anything in a day - so encouraging reading everyone’s comments as well. Thank you again 👍😍🙏
I really needed to see this video. I'm six weeks in and never felt so bad in my whole life. Missed the last 2 days of work because every inch of my body is in so much pain. Hope it's all worth it in the end... thank you
@@beckyklassen5506 Update: I thought I had Keto Flu since I hadn't had a cold, sore throat, runny nose, etc for over 25 years. Even when I was surrounded by sick people. Turns out I had The Rona. I was down for the count for about a week
Smoking, coffee, Mountin Dew with fish, Coca Cola with red meat, no breakfast, no lunch, dinner only, no veggies, no fruit, 1 piece of garlic bread with dinner, and then 4 Oreo cookies, that was my regime at fifty, and now at 75 I'm sincerely trying to quit the Oreo cookies and garlic bread. So far so good. THANK YOU for your delightful and entertaining presentations. Your youtube channel (Big City Mom) appeared for the first time this morning, so I watched 3. Very informative and valuable. Thank you again. I've been semi-carnivore all my life, but now, for six weeks, I've been taking it "seriously". Rib eye only. Dinner only. Fast 23 and a half hours daily (if I don't count a piece of Symphony chocolate, or a mini-Mars bar in the afternoon). I still haul logs. Lots of energy. No brain fog. Still can lift 80lb cedar posts, even with two hernias and bad hips. Since doing rib-eyes only (for the six weeks) my hips are healing and I no longer need a cane, except to snag a piece of firewood that tried to escape when I chopped it into kindling for my rib-eye dinner. Stay vivacious Big City Mom. Nemesis, out.
Finally! A smart video on detox symptoms, calling it what it is. "Keto flu" wasn't cutting it for me, and this description is so much better. Thanks! Great job. I am glad I trusted my intuition and nursing wisdom to know this must be "die off" and other issues of throwing off what we no longer need. I am on day 14 today, my third time trying. I always quit because of how bad I feel. But not this time, armed with this information. :)
Thank you for the encouragement. I'm going through detox since I've begun to transition from keto to carnivore. I'm drinking a coffee cup of hot water to attempt to replace having a cup of hot coffee. It helps. I'm on my third cup. I'm determined to make the change and am journaling what I'm feeling to look back on later in life and maybe pat myself on the back for going carnivore and wishing I had done it sooner. Once I get through detoxing and feel better I hope to help someone else with my journaling. It's good to hear about the symptoms of detoxing. Frankly, I thought it would be easier since I've been an intermittent faster and on keto for maybe 2 years but giving up cheese and drinking a few cups of diluted (very watered down coffee) in the morning while I wean off of it is harder than I thought. I know it's worth it. Keep going everyone.
Great Job! Yeah detox sucks, but the good news is , it ends. I believe in Japan, a cup of hot water in the morning is actually used as a remedy. I think the belief is that it clears your throat and sinuses. I drank the hot water for a while about 10 years ago, and I got rid of chronic sore throat this way and cleared my sinuses.
Why are you the only person talking about all of the symptoms? I've been reading and looking at videos about my lack of energy, lack of sleep and brain fog but not much is said. I am fighting Rheumatoid arthritis when ever it is about to rain. Only been at it for two weeks but after witching this video, will be sticking with it. Thank you.
It will be a marathon and not a sprint, but think about it, it takes decades to ruin our guts, and it takes months to fix it. Still pretty good deal! good luck and i am sure you will reverse RA, it is one of these diseases that respond to carnivore diet the fastest.
I agree. It is so strange that no one talks much about this. I think the big docs are all so gung ho they don't want to turn us away from it. But people give up if they don't know what is really going on and why. "Keto flu" never cut it for me.
Thanks, really useful information! I am on day 21 and still low on energy and still experiencing brain fog. You have made understanding what is happening to my body simple. Much appreciated thanks!!!
Experiencing perspiration, an intensely painful throat, and the presence of unusually viscous mucus, along with occasional sensations of internal combustion (hot flushes), dreadful flu-like manifestations, and vivid dreams... After enduring this for only two weeks and it still continues at the age of 41, I am resolute in persevering. However, these symptoms are undeniably unpleasant! It is evident that we have all been subjected to toxicity! It is our responsibility to restore our well-being. Best wishes to those who are making wiser choices for themselves and their health. The pharmaceutical industry and agricultural practices (pesticides) can go on their way! Cheers!
Thankyou for this video. I was becoming very despondent and doubting the wisdom of my choice to carnivore way of eating. I clean forgot it is an Elimination Diet, the detox is just horrible - but throughout I have told myself 'Don't give up' and it's only been just over 3 weeks! At 65, I've paid alot into carbs, sugar + glucose including childhood. Sugary foods comforted me in place of love, care, safety + security in the home. I even indulged in Pea Protein smoothies for a couple of years and can attest it affects the Vagus Nerve function. Your video gave me peace that I am doing the right thing for me. I sincerely believe our bodies are just genius mechanisms able to repair and heal if we give them the right fuel and at my age I have no wish to enter the medication system nor do I want my family burdened worrying unnecessarily about my deterioration until I die. I have been keeping a Journal daily for my personal interest and every day I start it with 'DONT GIVE UP'! I can do this💚 By the way I have subscribed to your channel x
Thank you for this video! You did a great job of explaining the detox process. I have had diarrhea and just overall not feeling great 32 days on Carnivore and was slightly concerned. The “dumping” process makes sense, and you confirmed it. Thank you again.
This information should be at the top of how to for carnivore newbies!!!! It’s scary when you are someone like me who was having a flare up from fibromyalgia and went into CD to “cure” my body Two weeks today and I feel like I m dying Restless legs all day and all night which I’ve had forever but never like this Plus added fibromyalgia pain??? Did loos 7 lbs That’s only thing keeping me going So glad I found people who are struggling and not on the fast sell yet I will keep on
Oh thank you I am the same! 8 days in and Fibro pain horrible too. Restless legs driving me nuts and so tired after food especially. Hope we feel better soon. WE WILL GET THROUGH THI! We made the decision to help ourselves and that’s a huge step. Good luck x
Thank you for this video. Been on carnivore for a bout a month coming of a sort of keto diet. And boy let me tell you how horrible I felt the first 4 weeks. I had every symptom you can imagine. Felt horrendous. Lost my dad to colon cancer last summer and I could’ve sworn I had a tumor in my gut from all the pain I was feeling. Then I had flu symptoms without having an actual flu. That was a giveaway I should’ve picked up on. Just started my second month and I must say I’m feeling a little bit better. Wake up feeling horrid but it improves throughout the day. Glad I’m sticking with this diet and hope to feel 100% soon.
@KetoCutie68 ,for me I realized I don't do well with animal fats such as tallow but do well with grasfed butter, I don't get diarrhea, and am taking electrolytes, I hope you are doing well if not maybe you should do meat and fruit as fruits don't have the same issues as vegetables, start with 1/ 2 cup I hear many doing so well with it
Wow, thank you so much for the most detailed and easy to understand possible symptoms. Its been hard to find information on the many different symptoms...day 25 for me
Thank you so, so much for this video! 🙏♥️ I'm about two weeks in and the nausea/bloating has just skyrocketed the last couple of days, so this video really confirms what I was thinking in terms of my body detoxing. I'm gonna keep going, though, because I believe this way of life is the key to my body healing itself! Thank you again! 🥰
Thank you for this video - I just started on the first and have nausea and wondering if it’s too much fat 🤷🏼♀️. I also had a sharp pain in my chest that made me nervous. However I’m on no medication and no pre existing conditions. I do need to lose weight and I love all things about this way of eating. I’ve been concentrating on getting enough protein and fat and think I’ve over done it. The “pains” made me stop Carnivore before and now I have a new outlook - thank you! Keep the videos coming for us newbies! 💞
This was SUPER helpful! Especially at 5:25 in the recording. I thought I had already passed through the Keto flu 5 years ago, but carnivore was next level symptoms! I've been wondering why I'm so congested and tired, even though I almost never get sick, and I'm eating healthier than ever! Not everyone mentions all the symptoms you did, so thank you for being so thorough, but without making this video too long! 😁
This video was very helpful! I started carnivore 2 weeks ago and never even thought about herxing! But all of a sudden today I thought OMG I feel like I'm herxing 😱 I'm familiar with his feeling my diet was not the standard American diet but yet I ate a lot of vegetables. I am very happy eating meat😊 I'm going to stick with it!!
Hi I'm really suffering with severe headaches. All across my head, but especially at the back riding up to the top. Was this you? It's really putting me off doing carnivore because of this, and also because I'm tired and no energy, even though I have enough supplements etc... Cheers
This was a great video and gave me motivation to keep going. Im on day 27 of STRICT carnivore and still am experiencing sugar/carb cravings. A lot of video i watch on this subject tell me that these crwcings should be over in a week or 2 from the time you start! Talk about bad information! After hearing you mention it may take up to a month and a half, thats just what i needed to hear to continue on this journey. Good luck to all of you on this diet and stay strong! Dont give in....its NEVER worth it!
Sugar cravings are the pits! I had them something awful when I did Atkins in my late 30s (57 now). I ate twiggy sticks (Slim Jims) and drank Pepsi Max which helped me over the worst of it. I don't have sugar cravings at this stage of my life, just lots of joint pain re-emerging which is way worse for me. How much you suffer and how long you suffer, I think, is dependent upon how bad your diet was before. Perseverance is the key and being strict with the eating rules. Personally, I'm looking forward to the weight loss. I can't remember the last time I saw my knees without actually bending over!
Sorry for late reply. Just got the notification now 😂. Was carnivore for 2 months last year. Went on summer vacation and started eating everything until the end of 2023. From january started carnivore for 2months the last 2 months animalbased (fruit, honey and sometimes different kind of nuts). Had one week where I ate everything but found out quickly that all symptoms were coming back and went back to animal based again. And you guys?
…*this comment is typing itself. The owner of this phone just started her Carnivore lifestyle a week ago and is laid out feeling like some hot trash🥹but very thankful for this video because she almost ate a Reese’s cup to try and “feel better”. Keep her in your prayers😮💨*…….😅😅🥹
Thank you for such a helpful and thorough video! Very encouraging I’ve committed this month to strict carnivore and sticking with to help my costochondritis/slipping rib. I will remember you and this video if things get too tough!
That's very helpful. I'm 2 weeks on carnivore and started to have all these unpleasant side effects like diarrhea, muscle aches, tiredness, weakness. Thanks to your video, now I am prepared to suffer for at least 2 months 😂
@achraf0156 I don't feel 100% yet, but there are very significant improvements. I stopped losing weight (I'm lean)and started to gain strength. I think the biggest obstacle for better improvement is that I'm allergic to almost everything apart from pork and eggs. Even pork and eggs are not ideal, but but they give me least allergic reactions
Omg, i thought i eas foing it sll wrong 😮. Thank you for this as I've no support at home with my dietary changes... Yhis is what i needed yo hear today🙏. Thank you very very much 💖
Thanks for making this video, I have Psoriatic Arthritis and I am about a month into the diet. I feel the worst I ever have. My whole body feels like I got hit by a truck. I was feeling like quitting. I hope it does not last for very long. Cheers!
3 weeks in and i was just telling my fiancé today how discouraged I'm feeling, and how I've read over and over you need to be patient, but patience sucks! 😂 this video came at the perfect time for me and validates how I'm feeling. Thank you!!
Excellent overview Sylvia! I enjoyed your take on the body as a system and how it goes through phases and its adaptations to toxic overload and it's strategy for detox. Once again I am reminded of how powerful Carnivore is as the utlimate elmination diet.
idk what kind of symtomps are those. what hapend to me is completely oposite: i had huuuge amount of energy, was awake, decent concentration, bit warm, crave nothing, and mood went up, not down.
I needed to hear this. I'm 65 and four weeks ago I was 250 lbs. Ex heavy smoker and drinker. Went straight to Carnivore. Almost a week ago I started on Keto-Mojo. I also did a so darned easy 48 hour fast and the Keto-Mojo numbers were awesome. But my blood sugar fluctuates into the concern/warning range. 133 mg/dL. Though nervous and resistant to meds, (no matter how wonderful the suggested outcome might be), I read that this can happen. Today I have a low-grade fever, 100.3f and feel a little crap. I seldom get sick. It's been 10+ years. The positive is that I'm 228 lbs. I needed confirmation that the fever was part of the journey. Thank you so much.
8:41 Carnivore and loving it and down to 165 pounds effortlessly but I find that as I get deep into my fat reserves I start feeling awful. Theory I have is that since I consume 2 gallons of fluids per day everyday I am overloaded in toxins FROM this high amount of water intake. Modern day cities have massive amounts of toxins in the water that conventional filtration just cant filter out. I purchased a water distiller and everyday I make 2 gallons of pure water and whats left over is 1/2 cup of a brown fluid that I used to consume everyday. I would love to get this analyzed. Anyway I agree that as you tap into your fat stores you release these toxins as the body has the function of "hiding" the bad stuff in fat stores.
I'm on Day 5 of carnivore and the pain in my right knee has increased to where I'm having trouble sleeping because there's no position that's comfortable. I've been on diets before and there's always a phase where you detox, so I'm hoping that the pain increase is just that. I'm not having any other issues, so I'll count my blessings but man, my knee feels like it's on fire sometimes.
I have intense aching in my back and hips, I burst into tears last night it was so bad I couldn't sleep. Not sure if it's oxalate dumping or candida die off but it's brutal along with feeling like I'm walking through water and I'm so tired. I hope I can continue with carnivore, one of the reasons I'm trying it is to help chronic pain, ironically.
I just ran up on this 15:08 video ,I was about to give up after 7 weeks, I also was in much pain and tears...I needed this explanation, thank you, I now feel like I can go forward ... husband is concerned but I know now it's OK...
My Lady & I are 1416 Days Carnivore..... we're shredded as hell & 52 years old...... Is bean healthy makes us wealthy Is PS we are enjoying your videos
I have been vegan for 6 years I went on it to heal rheumatoid arthritis but it never worked, I got off my RA meditation and ate steak and butter and my swelling and joint pain all came back. I have been having so much pain sleeping and through the day. I don’t want to give up and now after watching your video I will not give up. I have been doing iodine and salt water and that’s been helping, I cut out butter, spices and chicken cause it always hurts me even more. Now I do fat from ground beef, steak water and salt only and sometimes I add eggs and occasionally honey and blue berries
Hang in there, the improvements will come. With history of veganism, you will have overgrowth of provotella copri in your gut, so that will take some extra time to normalize your gut microbiome.
@@maztergee the salt intolerance is rare, but happens to a subset of people I interact with. I am surprised that salt has this effect on some people, but it does. yeah, dairy affects a wide group of people, myself included, not only does it cause inflammation but also changes my mood ( for the worse).
My daughter is diagnosed with IBD. 4 months ago she started the cornivor diet she started to experience some positive changes as 2 BM a day instead of 5-6 .but diarrhea still persist. But 3 weeks ago suddenly her condition worsened 15 BM a day, fatigue. Is it detoxification process? Can detoxification start in 4 months after in cornivor diet?
I recently went from being vegetarian to animal-based, not entirely carnivore. I felt great the first week! Cured my IBS overnight!! But then I got hit with the keto flu. Two weeks later, a lot of the symptoms are gone, but the sore throat, thick green mucous coming out of my nose, tiredness, etc are still there. Hoping it ends soon!
I’m exactly the same. This is my 3rd week on Carnivore and a couple of days ago I started with a really sore throat which developed into a really bad chest infection and cold. I’m coughing up some really nasty stuff. Didn’t know if it was the diet or just bad luck that I got this. I’m not usually prone to colds etc. I’m 78 and I’ve been on Keto for a couple of years with no problems
I am 3 mths carnivore, previously keto, I feel great except for incredibly dry skin on forearms(raised and discolored) , face and patches over rest of body, I use tallow balm and do all the usual stuff for dry skin but to no avail 😭
Frist 6 days I Felt fantastic then got carnivore flu on day 7. Day 9 now I just feel dizziness, brain fog, weak, back pain etc I would have given up by now if i hadn't experienced those 6 amazing days. I will stick at it! I'm doing all the right things electrolytes, eating plenty, salting water and adding tullow etc. If there's anything I'm missing or should be doing please let me know! God bless and good luck all
How are you doing now? Any better? I’m retired, but active, only a few pounds overweight. I’ve been quite low carb for a couple years now after being vegetarian for many years. I was still having some sourdough once a week and still consumed alcohol at least 5 times a week, like a couple glasses of wine, or a little tequila. (I live in Mexico). 5 days in and NOTHING but meat, eggs, butter, Greek yogurt and some cheese …. I’m SO EXHAUSTED, plus scary diarrhea . But my stiff feet and joints are doing better. So, onward and upward!
@@tootstoyou1 omg I'm completely recovered now, all the flu symptoms went away by the end of week 2. Now I feel amazing. It's been 1 month and I'm full of energy. You just have to stick at it. You will get through it! Onwards and upwards as you rightly said! Just Be patient and trust that you will. Come through the other side. Cut out everything and anything which isn't water, meat and salt. That Greek Yogurt might have sugar I'm not sure but maybe consider cutting it out? Meat, water, salt and butter... It's all you need to feel fantastic. I have a RUclips channel if you need inspiration. Feel free to subscribe to follow my journey. Also I mention a few tips for how to avoid the worst symptoms e.g by using bone broth, sparkling water etc. Good luck to you! Let me know how you progress, give it another week I'm sure you'll recover!
@@Jonnydoescarnivore Thanks for your response! Very encouraging :)) The yogurt is goat yogurt from a local goat farm. I know the people and there’s absolutely nothing added .. but still might not consume it for a while. I’m definitely sticking with carnivore plan to give It a proper chance! I will also check out your channel 👍
@@tootstoyou1 oh that's great, lucky you. I wish I could source some local organic Yogurt like that. So it's probably not that causing you issues. It's just the adaptation phase. A lot of us go through it unfortunately. Stay strong. all the best 💪
It may take time because stomach is a special kind of organ that you cannot not use while you are healing it, but the diet is solid for this kind of issues.
Since this is a serious issue I think you may benefit from a consultation with Paleomedicina in Hungary. I know they generally do not recommend fasting but I do not know the specific protocol for your case.
I have tried to go carnivore several times now but in the first or second day my heart starts pounding harder and faster and I get anxious. This happens every time. But it didn't happen when i fasted for 40 hours. I am 186 cm and weigh around 70 kg, quite lanky. What i really going on here?
Thank you. I was considering switching off the carnivore diet because of issues I've been having the past couple of days. It sounds like others who have commented have experienced the same thing I am. One thing I am struggling with that someone else might have a solution for is a nasty flare up of interstitial cystitis. I kind of think mine is viral in cause because the UA's show no bacteria. But it's almost debilitating, it's so rough.
I'm on day 49, I feel horrible. Depressed, zero energy, insomnia, confused without understanding whether I'm hungry or not. A slight sore throat and a small skin infection. I hope it gets better soon, I don't know if I can handle 2 months of feeling like crap.😅
Fm over 50. Did keto for 1.5 years for nafld and lost 20 lbs. I stopped for 6 months and tried keto again with no luck and gave up for over a year. I gained it all back plus more. Now, 3 days in on carnivore. Diarrhea, feverish, chills, headache, low energy, joint pain in fingers, feet, lower legs, right side under rib, occasional chest pain. I can’t tell if it’s actually a flu or detox symptoms. It’s terrible. I hope it goes away. I’m here looking for reassurance.
Electrolytes are so necessary! Lots of water too! I take redmonds sea salt, magnesium supplements and cream of tartar. Also taking activated charchol... Can't wait to get over the hump!
I’m 2years in and getting eczema , which I’ve never had in my life, crazy muscle cramp, having to change the bedsheets at night from excessive sweating. Severe body itchy. Just came across oxalate dumping crazy torture!
One week in and feel like sh*t. I've been doing IF for a while, but thiught I'd try carnivore. Based on the symptoms (severe headaches all day and night), not sure I will continue. Amyway, let's see. One positive sign after one week in is that my skin has improved. Oh, and the second thing, my wife is enjoying the 'extra wood' if you know what I mean!? 😂 Must be the increase in testosterone due to the diet? Great vlog by the way.
Thanks for the great video I am experiencing what you talk about, I am 3 weeks in on carnivore but was keto for 3 months previously. My scio (biofeedback machine ) is saying bacterial infection. I felt like it was food poisoning as also have diarrhea and now still going on day 3. I have done many parasite detoxes in the past with these symptoms as have healed from Lyme so could also be another layer of detox.
any advice or opinion on this, please? I have since been diagnosed with Blasto, can it be that the detox and loss of weight can have released the parasite infection that was dormant in the body ( I have had this many times before)
I have massive muscle cramps probably from lack of electrolytes, besides it im very very tired and angry for no reason. 1 week in and I hope to go at least 2 months! 🥰
Im almost at the 3 months mark and I've lost the weight, down 14kg from 100kg. But still have a sore back brain fog, i will persevere. Still detoxing im thinking 🤔 Great video awesome information thank you!!! From Australia 🦘🦘🦘
Considering I used to have Reese’s cups for breakfast it is no WONDER my detox process feels like misery😅. My body was SICK of me…. Literally🥹. Keep pushing carnivores…We will get to the other side…❤️
I've been there. There's a lot to be said for the joy of a Reese's cup breakfast bowl. But I also got very sick. I think what's going on with me now is the detoxification phase and it triggered a chronic condition that I'm hoping carnivore eliminates for me.
This video was so informative! Seven years ago I did keto diet for 9 months and lost a total of 45 pounds. Over time I started eating carbs again and put back on 30 pounds over the past 7 years. I started back on a stricter version of keto which has been pretty much carnivore except for coffee. I’m feeling overall better and have lost 5 pounds in 18 days but noticed I’ve been quite dizzy and tired the past 2 days. Thinking maybe I need electrolytes. Any suggestions?
I discovered that THAT was indeed the problem! Took electrolytes supplement that day and immediately felt much better! I’m not taking them daily but instead I go by how I feel. I feel great on carnivore!
Nice explanation. Thanks. My feet are going to hell. I just started ketovore about two weeks ago. I started feeling like my big toe was getting gout then like I have athlete’s feet.. Any comments on that?
it can be oxalate dumping, although your symptoms can mean a lot more, so keep observing what your body does. Gout symptoms should resolve once you adapt to the diet.
@@CarnivoreCoachSylvia thank you for your response. I noticed today my big toe is started to feel more normal. I did some soaking with either AVC and water or vinegar and water for the athlete’s foot, keeping clean, dry, barefoot as much as possible and that seems to be working to. Cheers!
I highly recommend black garlic. It's way too incredible. One piece a day and 30 days later you look five years younger and every cell in your body is clean and your liver is cared for. You won't believe it.
I started the diet a month ago. I have a lot of experience with the keto diet. However, four weeks in, I still feel quite tired/defected. This video confirms exactly what I was expecting. This isn't just keto flu. I'm still processing a lot of toxins. Cheers People, stay healthy.

Thank you! ❤
This my 2 nd week is it normal feel joint pain so much?? I don’t know if that’s normal?
Thank you for your kind words
I needed to hear this! I am 70, have had a lifetime of eating junk, am gluten intolerant, and so sick, tired, terribly weak, lots of joint pain from this, extreme brain fog, terrible diarrhea, and two weeks in. Thank you so much for explaining all of this. Why don’t Dr Chaffee and the rest of them explain this?! God bless you for taking the time to make this video. Guess I’ll live half the day on the couch for a while and accept that this fatigue and extreme brain fog will end.
Thank you for your feedback! it gets better, our bodies need time to figure out this new way of eating.

This is an excellent video to share with carnivore newbies so they don’t get discouraged before they get to the best part. 😉❤
Just started 3 days ago. And I was wondering what in the world can’t sleep and sweating bad and lots of diarrhea. Now I know. I’ve been drinking almost daily for over a year. No drink for just 5 days. Thanks for this great information. Much needed today.
Keep at it, you can do it!
Thank you ! Appreciate your feedback
How are you feeling
Thank you so much. I needed to hear this. I’m 5 weeks in, down 14 lbs, and today the malaise and fatigue hit hard. Resting watching this video.
14 pounds down - that's great!
Take electrolytes, such as pottasium ,sodium ,magnesium, as well as calcium and zinc,it helps
How are you going now?
I really needed to see this video. I'm six weeks in and never felt so bad in my whole life. Missed the last 2 days of work because every inch of my body is in so much pain. Hope it's all worth it in the end... thank you
I’m feeling the same, 5 weeks in and tired, so much lower stomach pains and constipated! 🙈
This is literally the best carnivore video I've ever watched. ❤❤❤
Cheers!
yes, and we only really learn this once we do experience it ourselves.
I know what you mean by the dreams. Something not mentioned it the keto breath, push fluids.
what do you think the animal is given to eat? it’s the same pesticides that you avoid …

It’s scary when you are someone like me who was having a flare up from fibromyalgia and went into CD to “cure” my body
Two weeks today and I feel like I m dying
Restless legs all day and all night which I’ve had forever but never like this
Plus added fibromyalgia pain???

That’s only thing keeping me going
So glad I found people who are struggling and not on the fast sell yet
I will keep on
Oh thank you I am the same!

How's it going 2 weeks later?
Thank you for this video - I just started on the first and have nausea and wondering if it’s too much fat 🤷🏼♀️. I also had a sharp pain in my chest that made me nervous. However I’m on no medication and no pre existing conditions. I do need to lose weight and I love all things about this way of eating. I’ve been concentrating on getting enough protein and fat and think I’ve over done it.
The “pains” made me stop

Of all the videos on this subject you helped the MOST. Thank you so much.

Hi
I'm really suffering with severe headaches.
More Redmans REAL salt on your meat
Sugar cravings are the pits! I had them something awful when I did Atkins in my late 30s (57 now). I ate twiggy sticks (Slim Jims) and drank Pepsi Max which helped me over the worst of it. I don't have sugar cravings at this stage of my life, just lots of joint pain re-emerging which is way worse for me. How much you suffer and how long you suffer, I think, is dependent upon how bad your diet was before. Perseverance is the key and being strict with the eating rules. Personally, I'm looking forward to the weight loss. I can't remember the last time I saw my knees without actually bending over!
i use bacon as a snack to resist cravings, or beef jerky@@audrablue515

Sorry for late reply. Just got the notification now 😂. Was carnivore for 2 months last year. Went on summer vacation and started eating everything until the end of 2023. From january started carnivore for 2months the last 2 months animalbased (fruit, honey and sometimes different kind of nuts). Had one week where I ate everything but found out quickly that all symptoms were coming back and went back to animal based again. And you guys?

@achraf0156 I don't feel 100% yet, but there are very significant improvements. I stopped losing weight (I'm lean)and started to gain strength.
Thankyou for your videos. I find them very helpful and encouraging!
Thank you ! I appreciate it
I'm on Day 5 of carnivore and the pain in my right knee has increased to where I'm having trouble sleeping because there's no position that's comfortable. I've been on diets before and there's always a phase where you detox, so I'm hoping that the pain increase is just that. I'm not having any other issues, so I'll count my blessings but man, my knee feels like it's on fire sometimes.

It may take time because stomach is a special kind of organ that you cannot not use while you are healing it, but the diet is solid for this kind of issues.
lots of fasting will help,, the less the stomach is used the faster you will heal,, eat once a day,, or every other day..
Since this is a serious issue I think you may benefit from a consultation with Paleomedicina in Hungary. I know they generally do not recommend fasting but I do not know the specific protocol for your case.
That's what I would do! Please tell us how it goes! I hope you be well.
I'm 3 weeks into the diet and still have extreme fatigue. I also have Hashimotos which may contribute. Your video is very helpful. Thank you!
I have tried to go carnivore several times now but in the first or second day my heart starts pounding harder and faster and I get anxious. This happens every time. But it didn't happen when i fasted for 40 hours. I am 186 cm and weigh around 70 kg, quite lanky. What i really going on here?
I think it's a form of detox (toxins run through the blood). Had this when I drank alcohol a few years ago (heartrate from 100 per minute or more).
Im three weeks in and not feeling quite good. Hope it get a turn soon.
Light coming through Are you better now while on a carnivore diet?
@@sannamuh985 death
I'm on day 49, I feel horrible. Depressed, zero energy, insomnia, confused without understanding whether I'm hungry or not. A slight sore throat and a small skin infection. I hope it gets better soon, I don't know if I can handle 2 months of feeling like crap.😅
I feel exactly the same but only one week in. Day 49? That is a long time to feel like sh*t
How are you feeling now?
Thank You.
Oh my. I am detoxing for sure. About two weeks in.
it will get better
I think this all problems means it is really working. Did for me. Keep on, get through. Then you will sing praises. BUT. Do not give up
@@dorsetboronia6744 it was quite a detox, but it was worth the trouble. Seven months in now, it is euphoric. Love carnivore.
@@holistic_Ology. I have lost over 120 lb and healing more than 7 conditions. Feel fab. Congrats to you for keeping on. You have your reward✅✅✅🎶🎶🎶
I really enjoy your videos, you are always confirming my own experience with carnivore.....thanks you
Thank you!
Amazing video. Thank you for sharing all this information
Electrolytes are so necessary!
Lots of water too!
I take redmonds sea salt, magnesium supplements and cream of tartar.
Also taking activated charchol...
Can't wait to get over the hump!
Dod you get over it?
I did...
However my parasite load is sabotaging my appetite@@LatiaShantae
My knees started hurting right away, and my back.
Thank you! Was having worsening skin issues and weakness after going strict carnivore, and now it makes sense.
I have acne break out doing carnivore diet
What about now?
Still detoxing im thinking 🤔
Great video awesome information thank you!!!
Bart Kay would always recommend a slow transition over two months or so. Bad idea to go straight into strict Carnivore.
Any reason why my throat seems to feel swollen, need to swallow, and cant burp on carnivore?
Wow you're very spot on! ☝️🙃
Great info thanks
Excuse me saying this, but you have such lovely colour hair! 😮
Thank you!
This video was so informative! Seven years ago I did keto diet for 9 months and lost a total of 45 pounds. Over time I started eating carbs again and put back on 30 pounds over the past 7 years. I started back on a stricter version of keto which has been pretty much carnivore except for coffee. I’m feeling overall better and have lost 5 pounds in 18 days but noticed I’ve been quite dizzy and tired the past 2
days.
Cheers!
@@caseyglenar7268 How are you these days? Still on carnivore?
thank you for the very informative video
OMG WHAT A RELIEF! I did daily enemas during the carnivore diet for the detox symptoms.
Just water enumas?
@@giosarranable Yes.
@@ENEMA_AND_YOGA_CHANNEL Are you still on the carnivore diet?
@@sannamuh985 I stopped doing the carnivore diet but I still continued doing the daily enemas.
@@ENEMA_AND_YOGA_CHANNEL lol
I highly recommend black garlic. It's way too incredible. One piece a day and 30 days later you look five years younger and every cell in your body is clean and your liver is cared for. You won't believe it.
Does blurred vision come under the umbrella of the carnivore diet.im experiencing blurred vision,I'm on the diet one month ❤
I have not heard about this one yet...
I'm currently feeling the same, blurred vision😒
I get sooooo thirdty it been three months please help
Brilliantly explained 👍
Beautiful eyes 👀
I seem to be able to tolerate a lot of butter. Is this ok? Thankyou for this very helpful video

butter is lovely, if it doesn't give you issues - enjoy
