    This is so helpful! Just trying to take off skin on an apple I think is super similar to what you're doing on your nails, but less scary because you get to practice being gentle

    Unless your nipper's stopper is broken you are absolutely not supposed to hold it like that! And if it's broken well you should probably buy a new one. The metal thing with a small ball on the side is a stopper and you are supposed to turn it around so that it does the movement that you are doing with your middle finger. That gives much more control and it's so easy to cut someone if you do what was shown in this video.

      Thank you for your comment. There are so many way to hold it. For my 11 years experience this way it great that’s why I shear. Anyway, you can hold what ever you comfortable with it , it is okay.

      Thank you i tried your method and it worked better than the video im left handed too so holding it like that felt very uncomfortable

    I must have a very crappy pair of nippers, I can't open or close them holding them the way you demonstrate. Other than getting a new pair, do you have any helpful tips
