So Wise , Thank You , Good to know and Remember
Glad you enjoyed it!
My dentist here in Germany told me to strictly avoid any type of sugar and fruit sugar and no dairy products so... clear broth it is :D
same with me
You need calcium. Forget that advice! I can't eat cups of broccoli or kale puree...🤮🤢👎
This is a cool doctor-
I have a couple questions
Can I take sour milk right after tooth extraction
Any advice on pureed food diet?
I had it for 15 years, even xmas dinners were like baby food.. 😢 my skin and hair were horrible and i was always hungry .ive just had my fixed temporary teeth put in and its great so far but still really hurts on one side
❤ ❤ ❤ ❤ ❤
Antibiotics must be eaten with food and dairy is not the ideal when taking antibiotics.
I don’t eat sugar and carbs for health reasons, so I managed to swallow pieces of scrambled eggs, will warm the eggs and eat right of the shell with a tiny spoon next time. I used the opposite side of the tooth.
Drinking protein shake seems to be good too, low carb, high protein and can be drank cold.
So, in other words, baby food consistency of anything you put in your mouth. Ok. Can a steak be pureed?
You can actually eat a lot of ground meat and just swallow it and same goes for bigger pieces of meat but of course that's harder to swallow, but you don't have to chew, your body breaks down meat way better than anything else and you'll get the nutrients to recover faster. A simple way to fact check this is, ever seen pieces of meat in your stool? Nope but you will with vegetables. After any oral surgery I usually pre grind everything for meats just small enough where I can swallow them easily and anything veg or fruit related will be blended to a fine juice, take your supplements, you will recover way faster. The idea of potatoes, ice cream and yogurts being easy to eat are true but I just think how much nutrients are lacking especially when your body is working really hard to recover, those simple foods won't cut it.
Ice cream 😊
Don't use a straw with the Frosty!
Do you realize that your food recommendations were nothing but sugar?
And?
@@StephanieP3 and the human body needs more than sugar to stay healthy and heal. I thought that was pretty obvious.
I don’t think they can provide an exhaustive list of every liquid or soft food. He provided some good examples and we get more from them than simply sugar, fiber, vitamins, minerals, calcium etc. and what he listed were some items that are probably easy for most people to get. I thought that was obvious as well. He is also not our dentist, we should be following care instructions from our personal doctors not just ones we find a 3 minute video of online.
It’s also worth mentioning that in the first day or two when you are more limited the things he listed with sugar would give the patient carbs and energy which is a good thing considering some may have trouble eating enough those first couple days.
Right. My post op instructions emphasize nutrition as important for the healing process then immediately suggests sugar and processed junk
When did mash potatoes became sweet 🤔
Ice cream? Jesus! Besides being cold ice cream has some other features not so good for healing.
Exactly what I said. Definitely promotes inflammation and possibly more cavities that could lead to more implants. 💰
As soon as he said ice cream, my head went straight to a Peanut Buster Parfait from DQ. LOL NO NUTS!!!!!
Like what?
@@HH-gv8mxPpl love to bash dairy. I have it everyday and I don't experience that evil "inflammation" everybody likes to repeat like a parrot.
How else do you get the 1000-1200 mg of Calcium every day? Kale & broccoli?🤢
