Kudos on the little cleanup. Can you imagine the impact if every boat picked up a couple bags of trash? The counter-current near the dock reminds me of the gulf stream counter current. Nice job locking through with the passenger ferry. Next step a Panama Canal lock with a cruise ship.....lol
Thankyou Rod, every little helps. Maybe it was due to this counter current that 'No Mooring' was allowed along this pontoon at this time of year. We are sure there will be bigger challenges on the Panama canal but we look forward to the experience 😀
Blimey that looked scary in the lock, I must admit I'm impressed with Lee's tool collection im living in a house and not a boat and I don't even have drills as good as that. Well done on clearing up the side of the lock looks like you are leaving a lasting impression and you seem to be getting by speaking to the locals, see you in your next episode xx
I personslly may have been to cautious to lock through with large cruise vessel. Prop wash was severe and you guys did well 👏. BTW your video editing and production has improved too. ✌️
Thanks for the comment Michael. I think at this stage we were a little over confident in our lock manoeuvres and didn't expect Marco to have to raft up to us. But it was a lesson learned. We were surprised at how much throttle the cruise ship needed just to get going as previous Barges had exited the locks in front of us by just creeping forward until they were safe distance away. The lesson is, BEWARE of cruise ships when going into the locks!
Hello, when is episode 22 filmed? isn't it cold, we're doing the same trip as you but stayed in Macon for the winter and traveled home to Sweden😃🇬🇧🇬🇧🇬🇧
Hi Hakanweidrup, we are a little behind with the episodes but yes it was a bit chilly on the Rhone but warm when the sun shines. The actual footage was from November. Good luck with the rest of your trip. When do you plan to continue?
Super odcinek 😁
Dziekujemy bardzo i pozdrawiamy 😊 jaka pogoda w Bydgoszczy?

Yes, he has got a quite a collection here, 3 tool boxes! 😅 it's amazing how much rubbish was there, it didn't look that much when we started lol
Lee improved his French a lot, I'm still struggling 😅😅
