I have been mostly carnivore for 14 months and my wife thinks I am an idiot. She keeps telling me that people who see us who haven't seen us in awhile quietly ask her if I have been sick because I look so thin. She tells them that I am sick in the head. Yet I can run circles around all of them at 77 yeas old. These are, including my wife, highly educated people????? The attraction to pills for health and beauty rather than a proper human diet and exercise is just too compelling. My last hospital stay was in 1947, the year I was born not because I was sick. Not too many of these people can say the same or anything similar. I want to travel through my golden years with my boots on and not in a chair with wheels. They fact that is working very well for me is, in the opinion of these others, only interesting and likely due to naturally good genes and has nothing to do with healthy mitochondria due to healthy eating and healthy living.

Here are some ideas for you…
Sugar and Carb Addicts Anonymous (SCAA)
      Kelly Hogan
      5 Minute Body
      Steak and Butter Gang
There are others . You could do an Internet search for keto, low-carb or carnivore support groups.

I just got the book Common Sense Labs by Dr Berry and Kim Howerton. It’s SO good! Prior to this I was always taking notes while listening to Dr Berry discuss labs on videos. I’ll still take notes because I’m a nerd that way but the book gives full explanations I can understand. Does everyone know about this book?

Melissa and JD, and other interested carnivores can eat a delicious satisfying carnivore diet. We are blessed to have so many wonderful creative carnivore (and keto) cooks on RUclips. Chris cooking Nashville taught me to make carnivore ‘ mashed potatoes’ , ‘refried beans’ and I’m still learning. Maria Emmerich is another. There are So many others. And they all talk about Dr. Berry!

I'm a 64 yr old male who is a 3rd generation Diabetic. Both my grandpa and my dad had diabetes and both died from complications from it. Both started off as type 2 and graduated to type 1 insulin dependent. I was diagnosed last November with type 2 and have been on Metformin 500mg twice a day ever since (1 tab in the morning, 2 tabs at night). I lost 50lbs since then (eliminated all sugars from my diet and tried to find as much KETO foods as possible. Had a A1c 12 in November last year and was 6.6 in march of this year. I average between 80 and 125 test results daily ( test twice a day). Because my diabetes is most likely inherited, is there any real chance to reverse it? thanx.

The liver is literally the most regenerative organ, so carnivore will do it. Fasting will also help. No alcohol, no fructose, as both are processed by the liver. And stop taking the meds. And both carnivore and fasting will help with the M.S., as well. Oh, and the fat from fatty red meat also helps.
