I know you said don't take calcium supplements but what if you had a gastric bypass? What do you do? So I thought about taking red algae for calcium and collagen supplements. Can I ask your thoughts?
@@sarahjenkins8963 Hi Sarah, I am not a doctor, but I would say that you try to avoid the artificial calcium supplements like calcium carbonate, other "pill forms" or calcium fortified foods.. You'll get a useful list if you Google "calcium rich natural foods". I myself like yoghurt, cheese, dark leafy greens, seeds (hemp, pumpkin, sunflower), sardines, wild caught salmon... Probably discussed here already: study vitamin D3, K2, magnesium, boron, protein, proper exercise.
I'm 83 years old and I've been osteopenic for a couple years. I've started eating egg shells, taking a multivitamin,Vitamin D3 and K2 and a keto diet. I've always been a carnivior so meat is no problem. My one failing is I don't get enough exercise. I'm a retired Nurse so as a Supervisor I walked many miles every shift in a big Hospital. Now I make myself watch Dr. Berry over and over, And I'm back into my walking routine and lifting canned food for my arms. I'm determined to reverse this oseopenia before I leave this earth. Thank you Dr. Berry.
Hello from Australia. Have you reversed it yet. How are you going? How do you eat the egg shells and is that form of calcium absorbed. Can you be sure the egg shells are clean enough. That is do the chickens get fed GMO corn or the like? Here in Aus it is practically impossible to get healthy enough eggs.
I had to explain to my clinician why I'm taking K2 with D3 today. She said you can't be taking too much of that it thickens your blood. I said thats K1. - K2 helps D3 into the bone out of the bloodstream. She said 'well I've learned something new today!' I told her that I was surprised that this information wasn't automatically added to elderly patients advice to offer notes.
@@tanmusicch my understanding of carnivore is only animal products. No cereal. No grains, rice, or lentils. No vegetables. No fruit. So meat, animal fat, dairy, game. Not honey. Dr Berry has good videos on what is carnivore diet.
I am 69 years old, and I have lupus along with its partner-in-crime, osteoporosis. I take vitamin D3 and K2 and Zinc+. I also do weight-bearing exercises at the gym, along with weight lifting. My bone density has improved; 30% in my spine, 10% in my hips and 5% in my neck. I'm looking forward to my next bone density test early next year.
1. Collagen friendly diet (fatty meats, bone broth) 2. Exercise (walk, resistance, jumping on trampoline) 3. Stop smoking, soft drinks, alcohol (no more than 2 daily) 4. Take Vitamin D3, Vitamin K2 (MK7) 5. Fix your hormones (only with bio-identical) 6. Decrease your stress 7. Protect your sleep
And THIS is why RUclips is (often) my doctor! Yes, I DO have a doctor (a naturopath) who I see in real life, but if I’m not also educating myself, I’m never going to get the best results.
My doctor diagnosed me with diabetes, after a GTT. Told me to go home for 3 months and to come back for another GTT in 12 months. No other information or guidance. In that 3 months YT tutorials helped me to reverse the diabetes. This week I had a full blood test for a specialist appointment. My doctor said everything looks great and said blood sugar levels are great but then you’ve never had any problems there. I nearly fell off the chair. I politely reminded her I had been confirmed as a diabetic 4 months ago. She was very embarrassed and I learnt to look after my own health and have a healthy skepticism of doctors.
The OBGYN is always trying to get me on the meds that cause jaws to break. I told the doctor's assistant that I would not take them. She hugged me on my way out of the office and she whispered in my ear that she wouldn't take them either.
My doc said nothing I can do to strengthen or rebuild bone. Just did a scan after 1 yr of eating right along with K2, D3, boron, trace minerals and lots of fresh eggs. Bone density has improved. Keep going. Your body will help you if you treat it right.

I was diagnosed last year by a Kaiser doctor and have had some weakness while walking, but I too refuse to take big pharma drugs. i revised my diet a little, but after watching Dr. Berry, I am encouraged to eat more Magnesium-rich foods to get that Calcium and Vitamin D working so I can exercise more and be a healthier 79 YO. I got a dexascan a few months ago from nagging from my dr. I had one many years ago with some osteopenia. Don’t even remember how much. I have been taking 5000+D3 for 6+ yrs now with K2 in form of m7 + magnesium. I am soon to be 80 and when i got dexascan results, i almost fainted! NORMAL! Dr said at end and keep doing what you are doing! Doing ketovore! Gave up sugar and carbs. Never going back!
Yeah, he is. I wish I could find a doctor like this who takes my insurance. Those A.Hole doctors had me take Fosamax about 11 years ago, increasing my risk of fractures. I wish I knew then what I know today. Of course, God is AWESOME and hopefully Jesus is coming back soon!
@@aprilmay1700 so science makes our bones bend and not break? Science creates the rotation of good and bad bones to keep the body going? Here are the main points summarised and the approx time in the video the point is raised. Thanks a lot Dr Berry!: Increases risk of osteoporosis: * Drinking more than 2 glasses of alcohol a day increases your risk of osteoporosis 5:50 * Smoking 6:00 * Vitamin D and K2 deficiency 6:20 * Lots of grains, sugars, and processed foods in your diet 6:35 * Inactivity 6:45 * Drinking soft drinks 7:15 * Consumption of Proton Pump Inhibitors and H2 Blocker medications that reduce atomic acidity 7:30 * Low hormones 8:35 * Diabetic, steroid and lithium medications 8:50 DEXA Scanner shows bone health How to prevent or reverse osteoporosis: * Avoid sugar and processed carbs and eat collagen and minerals from fatty meats and the skin from the meat as it contains collagen. Eat the gristle in meats. The membrane on the back of ribs is gristle. The membrane on a hard-boiled egg is pure collagen. Make a homemade bone broth. 11:05 * Eat good sources of calcium, magnesium, phosphorus and boron minerals. Can take a supplement for the minerals, but don't take a Calcium supplement as they don't help. Calcium-rich foods are green foods. Using egg shells in bone broth adds more calcium. 12:20 * Weight-bearing and resistance training exercises like walking, lifting weights and strenuous activity (like a bit of jogging). Lots of running can decrease bone density. 13:05 * Stop smoking and drinking soft drinks 14:40 * Get off Diabetic, steroid and lithium medications 15:00 * Stop drinking more than 2 alcoholic drinks a day 15:10 * Take vitamin D if you're not eating enough pastured fatty foods and sunlight 15:35 * Have a vitamin K2 supplement like a MK7 15:55 * Fix your hormones. Get a hormone panel check if you are over 40. Low testosterone in men increases the risk of osteoporosis, as does low testosterone, progesterone, and estrogen in women. If your hormones are low take bioidentical hormones, not synthetic hormones as these increase the risk of cancer and heart disease 16:25 * Try to keep stress low and get adequate sleep. Chronic high cortisol decreases bone density 17:10 * Don't depend on prescription medications for osteoporosis 18:20
THANK YOU! Today I was diagnosed with osteoporisis and as a Christian I ALWAYS go against a doctor telling me I have something irreversalble because scripture says 'By HIS stripes I am healed'. I am on NO medications and lean more towards Chiropractors. I'd been indoors a lot and sendentary due to music productions and hot weather in Arizona. 2 years ago, I moved to Virginia where they have more townhomes and stairs. I fell down, broke wrist, which is when they discovered Osteopenia. I began taking Vitamin D3 as they said, but they never told me about the Vitamin K. Or Keto diet. I prayed in faith today to find answers and found your video....thanks for the hope and direction. Blessings

If it doesn't sound like hope, it's NOT coming from God. I was diagnosed long ago with LUPUS and would not accept it. Got prayer from lots of people and churches and within 1MONTH, they couldn't find a trace of LUPUS. Your name says alot about who YOU follow.

Why would anybody put a thumbs down on this? Everything he mentioned is true and informative. Explained so very well so it can be understood. This is more information in one video than I have found in other videos I have watched so far or other social venues. I thank you Dr. Berry. I am now going to watch your other videos.
I am a 76 year old woman diagnosed with osteoporosis. Two specialists want to start me on a regimen of Evenity/Reclast OR Tymlos/Prolia infusions. None of them explain what these drugs do/don't do for me like you did in this video. My 'gut' has been screaming at me not to do these infusions and I will now follow my 'gut'. Thank you for such simply given information. I've never heard about K2-MK7 before. Will add that to my supplement regimen. I walk 2.5 miles every day and have for 30 years.
I'm in a similar situation. I'll be 72 in 3 mos. I usually walk a mile 5x a week but an injury had me home bound. Up until this year I never was even diagnosed for Pina, but porosity now. I want to try a regimen before taking those infusions, my gut doesn't want to take them either!

My doctor discussed options and I made the decision to take Evenity. I had 12 months of injections. The injections are slightly uncomfortable but not awful. The first couple months I had a headache that lasted a day or so after the injections. I was also tired and had insomnia for a few days after the injections, and a little swelling near the injection site. I completed my last injection this month, and received my DEXA results today. DEXA improved in the spine by 41%. I meet with my doctor in a couple weeks to discuss all results and the plan going forward. I continue to eat a healthy diet, exercise, take Vitamin D, K2-MK7, magnesium, and calcium from my diet.
I'm working hard to reverse my osteoporosis. I was put on an estrogen blocker due to breast cancer being estrogen fed. I have had surgery and 3 weeks of radiation and feeling good about things now. I decided to go off the blocker once I found out I had osteoporosis. I feel more secure about fighting cancer than I do replenishing bone. I've changed my diet and have upped my game in exercising. I've been exercising for over 20 years (I'm not 64), but now increasing my weights. I really enjoyed this video.

I saw my doctor yesterday and he said my bone density test shows that I have osteoporosis. He said that I can reverse osteopenia but not osteoporosis. He said that no diet, no exercise, no supplements will help me. He said the only thing that will help is drugs! He said that at my age (I’m 73), if I fall and break a hip, I will NEVER recover from it. So I can just wait until I fracture a bone or take the meds he’s recommending to prevent that. (His words). He also said, “I don’t want to scare you but your morbidity percentage for the next five years is about the same as if you had breast cancer.” I reminded him that I did have breast cancer 33 years ago and I beat it through diet and exercise - no chemo! So this is the kind of medical advice that I am dealing with. Very frustrating. Unfortunately, I can’t eat eggs and poultry due to a severe allergy so I’ll need to work around that.
I'm 77. Two years ago I was thrown from a horse onto the road shoulder - a couple of scrapes and small bruises. A few weeks ago I fell hard onto concrete entirely on my left knee - a little swelling and slight bruise. In my 20's I had arthritis until I got into healthy living, and I have had zero arthritis ever since. I have been a jogger and exerciser for 50 years. I started low carb over 40 years ago, (with lapses), and gradually moved to keto and now 90% carnivore. No sugar, starch, grains, seed oils, alcohol or smoking. Almost all home-prepared whole foods, plus supplements. You must take charge of your health and refuse the doctor's fear mongering. God bless ❤️🙏❤️ PS just for instance, my 2 meals today were frozen cheeseburgers reheated in home-made beef bone broth and butter, for dinner I added crumbled bacon. 😋 Yesterday I made a keto soup that was a hit at a church potluck - creamy cheddar/broccoli with added chicken (but spicy pork sausage would be great). My hubby eats carbs but we have no problem managing meals mostly together.

This has been so helpful. I was diagnosed 9 months ago at 53 with Osteoporosis and the dr lay out a lifetime plan of Forteo, a bisphosphonate, followed by Prolia for the rest of my life! I thought my life as I knew it was over. After much research and being pointed in the direction of the right dr, I no longer feel that way. The only break I have ever suffered was a torsion break and an ACL tear as a result of a fall skiing. I am taking no meds other that a high quality calcium, D k2, Collagen Peptides, and Hydrochlorothiazide as they found my kidneys were leaking calcium. That was something I didn’t hear you mention and I’d love to hear how much you think that contributed to my Osteoporosis. Dr Berry - thank you so much for this video. I recently broke my wrist after an horrendous fall in the garden and was subsequently given a DEXA scan. The results indicated severe osteoporosis of the spine and osteopenia in my neck and hip. I’m 69 years’ old and the only treatment I was offered was a Zoledronic acid (Aclasta) infusion. The diagnosis was scary and I was very upset about it. I’ve been reading the literature I was given by the hospital about the Zoledronic acid and the side effects listed are numerous and very concerning ie, the jaw bone exposure risk, thigh bone fractures and a common one being Atrial Fibrillation! Thank you so much for this video on Osteoporosis. Just recently had a bone scan done and it revealed i have osteopenia in my left hip and lower spine/back. I have been doing exercises daily for flexibility, balance, and bone strengthening. Your tips are most helpful. I made note of what you stated in the steps you suggested for strengthening bone density.

Special exercises to do see , Bob and Brad Utubes. March. Drop from chin up bar any vibration plates. Ride recombinant bike at first for cardio. Gym membership. Best bone density is found in pole vaulting bc of that stimulates bone growth. I wish I had been forewarned osteopenia.
I’m 59 and have disc degenerative disease, osteopenia, spinal stenosis, and osteoporosis now. I’ve had some of these for years. I have had 3 back surgeries to replace several discs in my late 30’s early 40’s. My pain now daily is a 7. I am up for about 6 hours off and on each day. I can’t exercise hardly much at all. I’ll be 60 in may and I hope this will help me to reverse or slow down the damage. Ty for this video. Until these things started hurting and slowing my life down I thought nothing about them.
Same here. Same diagnosis and 3 spinal fusions with disc removal and vertebral disection with titanium cages and bone grafts. I also have pain all the time, but I force myself to walk daily and bike about 60 miles a week. I don't want to get worse. I have osteopenia and don't want it to get worse. I don't drink or smoke. I cook all of our food, watch carbs and sugars. Nothing hydrogenated or overly processed.
So sorry for your pain. Hope you feel better and free of pain in the future. The "Now" company has an organic stevia that is very good (just need a little). Do some research on stevia and bones. When I was 68, my chiropractor was surprised at my full body xray, and said I had the bones of a woman In my 30s. He kept asking me how I eat. I've been a vegetarian for 38, almost 39 years (then about 34 years)., but he said that being vegetarian should not cause stronger bones. Never could figure out why my bones were strong for my age. I didn't think about using stevia in my tea everyday. I later saw some recent research on stevia and how farmers give it to their chickens so the eggs won't break. Also, never drink cold drinks, just tea with stevia. I also use Internal Harmony that you rub on everyday. I'm almost 73 and very strong and healthy, so hopefully this will help you, too.

I am 60 and despite losing my ovaries to cancer 20 yrs ago, I've only recently had my first Dexa scan (new Dr!). I have 'SEVERE' osteoporosis... My diet has always been excellent (very intentional) and I exercise (power walk and jog) daily... but l have had no estrogen since I was 40. I gather it is too late to do anything about the hormone situation... Dr recommend more jogging . This video is the first actually education on osteoporosis I have had. Thank-you for making it!
I always appreciate the teaching of Dr Berry. He's very very thorough. Like a good teacher, he doesn't assume you know anything, because some people have been taught wrongly. The message is for everyone, even the totally misinformed. And for some, it's very important to know the "why" before we will do the "what". I try to be a very informed person; but sometimes, information has changed.
I am not sure I agree with some of Dr Berrys talking points. As you say, information must always be updated and can change. He states that being sedentary can lead to osteoporosis because the bones are not stressed enough, implying that stressing bones increasing bone health. However, I have noticed that being lazy can cause tension or stress, at least on the muscles, perhaps even the bones. But laziness does not strengthen muscles even though it stresses or strains them. Likewise, perhaps this can be extrapolated to bones, perhaps exercise helps bones but not because of the stress, but due to other factors. I am not sure though.
Blood flow…it’s a different type of stress that a sedentary lifestyle puts on the bones…exercise is a more uniform type of stress that brings more blood flow and nutrients to the bones…the body’s system gets lazy too..
I'm getting a second opinion because I'm extremely healthy never had menopausal issues, always eating decent and working out is my passion doctor said your not on any medication then schedule me for bone density and said I have osteoporosis and prescribe me some medications and I canceled the medication I don't take meds, I'm going to keep using alternative stuff
Really enjoyed this talk - I was diagnosed with OP in 2010 and told by OP consultant to take Alendronic Acid for 5 years - that was all. So i did my own research and found out the reason I had OP was because of prescription meds for epilepsy. I cannot come off those drugs, but I had a loading dose of Vit D and take 2000IUs of Vit D a day to counteract the adverse effect of epilepsy meds. I went to a women clinic that advises on diet and OP - and gave up all processed high carb food (I make cakes from vegetables instead). Also started weight lifting in the gym. With 6 years I was no longer osteoporotic. So thrilled that you as a doctor are telling your patients the truth about OP - that it can be reversed if, and only if, the person with OP deciedes to take steps to reverse it.
@@hateanimalabuse I have never heard of those two meds - but people taking epilepsy meds should be informed of the risk of osteoporosis and how to counteract that risk. Oh dear..
@@jessideb333 The most recent meds I am on is Primidone sometimes called Mysoline. But it is epilepsy drugs in general that can cause accelerated bone loss AFTER the menopause. It is normal to lose bone density as you age, but the epilepsy meds can accelerate the loss of bone. Basically, and I am not a doctor - this is what I have learnt, after menopause when oestrogen levels your body deplete, your body stops being able to absorb Vit D, and without Vit D in your body you cannot utilise the calcium (essential for bone growth). Read Dr Marilyn Glenville's book Osteoporosis How to prevent , treat and reverse it. I went to Dr Glenville's clinic and had a consultation, found out my Vit D was 14.7nmol, and it should be between 75-125 nmol, had a loading dose of Vit D (30,000IUs) followed by 2,000 IUs a day. Vit D3 is only absorbed with oil, so I used to buy Carlson Vit D3 oil capsules from the USA - now I can get them on Amazon. I also take Vit K, boron and magnesium. Nutrition - I have totally altered my diet to avoid eating food that create acid ash in your stomach - like cheddar cheese. Basically the food I eat would be a banquet for a monkey - lots of veg, some fruit, seeds and nuts. I do have meat sometimes. But I never eat processed food like bread or microwaved meals. Exercise - as my bones were so bad I took up weightlifting, but SLOW weights. Now I am hopefully OK.
You’ve given me hope! I refused the medication because of the awful potential side effects. Medics not happy at all. I take vit D3 and do some walking but probably not enough but usually about 5 miles at each outing. I eat very healthily do not drink or smoke. I am a young 73 and slim build. I liked the bit about bone broth and fatty meat. Great believer in food is our medicine so I’ll give that a go. Thank you so much. I don’t get enough sunshine because I live in the UK and it just loves to rain here 😊 My T score has now dropped from osteopenia to osteoporosis -2.5 I think. But I will carry on with the vitamin D as I was very low. I’m non dairy too but eat loads of greens. I’m a fairly good girl 👍🤗
Perhaps instead of long walks (which are great for weight loss), switch to shorter walks + weight-bearing exercises for increasing bone density. Good luck!
How informative! My younger sister has osteoporosis. She smoked up until last june/22, took antacids all day and night, everyday, ate nothing but processed JUNK food. and now, shes homeless, and living in my home because she went blind, partially deaf, and has advanced stage RHEUMATOID ARTHRITIS.
I'm an active 90 year old. I still stand straight, but my problem is the cartilage in my spine has collapsed so that I am 2 inches shorter. I did break my arm 4 years ago in a fall, but it healed in 3 weeks instead of the usual 6 to 8 weeks. I attribute this to listening to 20 HZ - the frequency of a cat's purr, for and hour or more each day. Now if only I could rebuild that cartilage.
I'm 2 months ago I became paralyzed when my spine collapse upon itself due to weak bones. I was unaware of the severity of my condition even though I was keeping tabs on it. I have to be in a wheelchair for the rest of my life now. Recommend you take the best possible care of your bones and that means a lot of different things for different people.
Sorry to hear that. Maybe consider seeing an Ayurveda or TCM practitioner. They sometime can help. There is also seated/chair tai chi that might help building up muscles and bone density. Or use light weights.
yep, give those osteoclasts and osteoblasts a work out. Recipe for bones: 1. Sunshine ( your body's own vitamin D) 2. Vitamin C 3. Calcium and Magnesium. 4. Resistance
I went Carnivore 31 days ago.... along with the steady weight loss, THE most amazing thing about all of this has been my elevated mood (due to the alleviation of my acid reflux and that I am no longer snoring... Thus I get a restful, full night's sleep), loss of mid-morning/afternoon brain fog and the almost 100% reversal of my Osteoarthritis!! My hands and feet no longer tingle and ache in the morning!! It's nothing short of complete turnaround from symptoms and issues I thought I was going to have to suffer for the rest of my life with at some level!!

Thank you Dr. Berry for the informative video. We have a wellness center in Memphis and incorporated the biodensity program 2 years for our patients. The biodensity equipment focuses on creating short load bearing exercises that can reshape the bone and help to ramp up the osteoblasts as well. Love the analogy on the bricks in the home not creating the meaningful bone that is needed. For my clients, I'm compared the bisphosphonate medication reaction to that of a sponge that while it might appear to make the bone density stronger via a denser mass, in actuality it's akin to a dry brittle sponge that may look dense but can become easier to break over time. We have recently added the nutritional component to our osteoporosis care program and appreciate your simple and straight forward tips.
@@h.k.2278 He said he is in Memphis, Tennessee. I've been searching for a physician or other practitioner here for a year with no luck so I'll try to find this group - I hope they are still in existence
Absolutely! The object of treatment is stronger bones not whiter x-rays. You could use Tippex for perfect x-rays, but chalky calcium gives no strength.
Excellent information. I was just diagnosed with osteopenia at age 54. My doc told me I should wait until age 65 to have a bone density scan done, but I insisted on having one. By 65 it probably would have progressed to osteoporosis.

I've been taking K2, D3, magnesium for over 4 years now. My bone scan says I have osteopenia. But here's the thing. Before the pandemic we were camping at a place called Rock Creek. I tripped over rocks (which were everywhere) a couple of times and landed on my behind or my elbow. (I don't drink. The doctor thought I did.) Got a few bruises. That's it. This December we were spackling our eaves to paint before we got aluminum gutters installed (for rain tanks). I fell off the ladder (thought I was on the last step but wasn't.) I fell on my butt on cement and rolled on my back. I had my husband help me up. (I'm 72.) I got up, felt no pain, and got right back to work. The next day we painted the eaves. I did not even have the slightest pain. I guess I'm lucky. I have never broken a bone in my entire life yet. I have been taking sea silica that may help with bone density. I also do 200 rows on a rowing machine 5 days a week for quite a few years now. Maybe I have good muscle mass around my bones. I won't take the medication they wanted me to take. I know people who had bad effects from it.
So you do need to be careful drinking coffee when taking it with certain vitamins. I take all my zinc and vitamins at night, and I have coffee during the day.

Egg shells are calcium carbonate. Look that up. It's not very good for you
Hello from Australia.

Here are the main points summarised and the approx time in the video the point is raised. Thanks a lot Dr Berry!:
Increases risk of osteoporosis:
*
Drinking more than 2 glasses of alcohol a day increases your risk of osteoporosis 5:50
*
Smoking 6:00
*
Vitamin D and K2 deficiency 6:20
*
Lots of grains, sugars, and processed foods in your diet 6:35
*
Inactivity 6:45
*
Drinking soft drinks 7:15
*
Consumption of Proton Pump Inhibitors and H2 Blocker medications that reduce atomic acidity 7:30
*
Low hormones 8:35
*
Diabetic, steroid and lithium medications 8:50
DEXA Scanner shows bone health
How to prevent or reverse osteoporosis:
*
Avoid sugar and processed carbs and eat collagen and minerals from fatty meats and the skin from the meat as it contains collagen. Eat the gristle in meats. The membrane on the back of ribs is gristle. The membrane on a hard-boiled egg is pure collagen. Make a homemade bone broth. 11:05
*
Eat good sources of calcium, magnesium, phosphorus and boron minerals. Can take a supplement for the minerals, but don't take a Calcium supplement as they don't help. Calcium-rich foods are green foods. Using egg shells in bone broth adds more calcium. 12:20
*
Weight-bearing and resistance training exercises like walking, lifting weights and strenuous activity (like a bit of jogging). Lots of running can decrease bone density. 13:05
*
Stop smoking and drinking soft drinks 14:40
*
Get off Diabetic, steroid and lithium medications 15:00
*
Stop drinking more than 2 alcoholic drinks a day 15:10
*
Take vitamin D if you're not eating enough pastured fatty foods and sunlight 15:35
*
Have a vitamin K2 supplement like a MK7 15:55
*
Fix your hormones. Get a hormone panel check if you are over 40. Low testosterone in men increases the risk of osteoporosis, as does low testosterone, progesterone, and estrogen in women. If your hormones are low take bioidentical hormones, not synthetic hormones as these increase the risk of cancer and heart disease 16:25
*
Try to keep stress low and get adequate sleep. Chronic high cortisol decreases bone density 17:10
*
Don't depend on prescription medications for osteoporosis 18:20

God bless ❤️🙏❤️
PS just for instance, my 2 meals today were frozen cheeseburgers reheated in home-made beef bone broth and butter, for dinner I added crumbled bacon. 😋 Yesterday I made a keto soup that was a hit at a church potluck - creamy cheddar/broccoli with added chicken (but spicy pork sausage would be great). My hubby eats carbs but we have no problem managing meals mostly together.

I have a friend who is 93 years old. A former scientist, he strongly recommends taking borax diluted in filtered water every day. He showed me his bone density scans before and after taking borax. I don’t smoke , but I did for many years, never drink soda, haven’t had an alcoholic drink in 15 years and lift weights 3x a week and walk 2 miles every day. However I am post menopausal and my estrogen is tanked. Can’t take hormones because of breast cancer in 2 aunts puts me at higher risk. Thank you for this very informative video.

(1 in 10 people). I understand this can lead to strokes. After watching your video, I have decided not to have the infusion and will do my best to improve/reverse my osteoporosis by natural means. Thank you again

Just recently I noticed my thigh muscles we’re getting very soft, I’ve read where steroids will do this. Any advice? I’m due for another injection next week & seriously thinking of canceling my appointment.
@earthsceience129 Walking is a weight-bearing exercise. Sitting is now looked upon as detrimental to the body as smoking.
I absolutely love the way you teach and explain everything. You so totally make sense! Thank you so much.
This is the best explanation i ever heard from a doctor👍👍👍
Thank you so much! Love it🤗
I'm getting a second opinion because I'm extremely healthy never had menopausal issues, always eating decent and working out is my passion doctor said your not on any medication then schedule me for bone density and said I have osteoporosis and prescribe me some medications and I canceled the medication I don't take meds, I'm going to keep using alternative stuff
sounds exactly like me.
Glad you have had some success. In the UK, so many people are now given epilepsy meds like gabapentin and pregabalin for nerve pain.
@@hateanimalabuse I have never heard of those two meds - but people taking epilepsy meds should be informed of the risk of osteoporosis and how to counteract that risk. Oh dear..
@@flower-ss2jt Gabapentin - FusePaq Fanatrex.Gabarone.Gralise.Neurontin.
Pregabalin - Lyrica
My daughter has epilepsy and has taken medicine since age 7. She is now 50
May I ask what drug did this to you?
Good luck!
Take K2 also.
Greens have anti nutrients as well as oxalate poison.
Where can I find that FREQUENCY?
@@jamieethridge9493 RUclips has a lot of frequency videos I also have a vibrating board that vibrates at that frequency it's made by Soloflex
You could consult a Registered Homeopath (via screen or phone, if not face-to-face). It is an amazing medicine.
@@Harmony7771 - Thankyou for info about your Soloflex board. I shall look around for one.

I'm 2 months ago I became paralyzed when my spine collapse upon itself due to weak bones. I was unaware of the severity of my condition even though I was keeping tabs on it. I have to be in a wheelchair for the rest of my life now. Recommend you take the best possible care of your bones and that means a lot of different things for different people.
how old are you?
Thank you for your recommendation, are you Okay now, I pray God help you dear.I wish to hear good news from you.
Sorry to hear that.
Maybe consider seeing an Ayurveda or TCM practitioner. They sometime can help.
There is also seated/chair tai chi that might help building up muscles and bone density. Or use light weights.
Sorry to hear that happened. What were your t scores?
Thank you so much for all your comments, helps a lot in my healing process
yep, give those osteoclasts and osteoblasts a work out.
Recipe for bones:
1. Sunshine ( your body's own vitamin D)
2. Vitamin C
3. Calcium and Magnesium.
4. Resistance
Dr. Berry, you are a blessing. Thanks for your wonderful videos!
Will this help if you had kidney transplant?
I went Carnivore 31 days ago.... along with the steady weight loss, THE most amazing thing about all of this has been my elevated mood (due to the alleviation of my acid reflux and that I am no longer snoring... Thus I get a restful, full night's sleep), loss of mid-morning/afternoon brain fog and the almost 100% reversal of my Osteoarthritis!! My hands and feet no longer tingle and ache in the morning!! It's nothing short of complete turnaround from symptoms and issues I thought I was going to have to suffer for the rest of my life with at some level!!
What exactly do you eat?
Jerry do you eat red meat or fish? Can you share more info? Thanks!
Did you do carnivore with no dairy?
Your video has helped my husband and I to understand my diagnosis of osteoporosis. Thank you so much for your tips on stopping/reversing my diagnosis WITHOUT prescribed medications.
This too is Jenny Roberts and I have osteoporosis now for 7 years but as a South African we don't very good medication. Can you please tell me what you would recommend ??
I am 70 years old and I found this video very interesting
Hello there where are you located what city
Iam experiencing the same thing . I insisted to do bone density and it happened that have it too. Are you taking any medication?
@a emami No medication, but taking a bone mineral supplement, vit D, eating calcium-rich foods, and doing weight-bearing exercises. :)
I am 40 and ive been diagnosed with osteopenia😭
I have bone cancer and are very worried about bone loss. Pls do a video on this
Just hod parathyroid surgery. Do I need to take calcium? Joan hoffmann
Have started following your steps Dr Berry. Learning more from you than I did in Nursing school 🦋🙏
This is by far, the best most cohesive most impactful most motivating and most educating osteopenia video, i have ever watched. This has been so helpful. If only he was my doctor i swear. Thank you for brings vital knowledge and hope for us. Much appreciated ❤
I know what you say is absolutely true. I reversed my numbers on my scan to my doctor's surprise about 5 years ago. I didn't know about osteoclasts and osteoblasts, but I do now. Thank you.
Hi! Can I ask exactly what you did to improve your numbers and what they were? I’m wondering if mine are too far gone? IDK 🤷♀️
Your advice is awesome. I listen to every word. Thank you❤️ I’m carnivore. Lost 78 pounds in 1 year.
Any eating ideas daily
I'm so glad I found your channel. Your honesty is so refreshing.
Thank you, Dr. Berry. I’m 71 and just found out I have osteoporosis. I’m following each part of your advice to the letter. I’ve been carnivore for 6 months so I’m getting lots of protein and collagen and I have a good doctor that increased my bioidentical hormones so I’m hoping that I have a head start on rebuilding my bones back stronger and healthier.

Excellent advice. Look forward to hearing more.
I am a 72 yr. old female.
I was put on Fosamax, 70mg. I had to stop it because of reactions from it. I broke out with a rash. Itching like a dog who has fleas. I have no pets. I was dizzy. I had trouble sleeping. So, I am drinking lots of water to get it out of my body. And, am looking at reversing this.Thank you for your video. Keep em coming.
I have spinal issues and lately I've been diagnosed with thoracic osteobenia and I feel hopeful and happy to watch this video. Thank you, Dr Berry 🙏

Thank you so much. Your helpful step by step how to take care of the osteoporosis is so simple and easy to understand. So hard to get rid of carbs, but I will try. God bless you.
Seriously man how the hey are majority of docs not being real docs like you ?!?!?! Insanity!
So glad you did not say to stop drinking coffee ☕️ I need it in my life. 🙏🏽💚
I know. That is my one go to treat. I can give up sweets and carbs but please not my coffee. ☕️
So you do need to be careful drinking coffee when taking it with certain vitamins. I take all my zinc and vitamins at night, and I have coffee during the day.
