I prefer the original 2019 reissue. I have no use for gmt and I like the day/date. The silver spacer under the bezel looks more plastic than the blue one!
I also like to have a day/date on my watch. Luckily, Timex is still selling the 2019 version for those who prefer it. Although, I would think they would discontinue or make a non gmt version of the new model.
When you do a wrist shot, make sure you roll your wrist all the way forward so that we get a top-down view of how the watch sits on your wrist. I'm sure you could see the watch, but it was always just over the horizon for the viewer.
I have one of each of these. It's hard to argue that both the Q Timex and the Q Times GMT are anything but marvellously styled. But what no RUclips review I have seen mentions - including this one - is the problem with the time setting. After I have carefully set the minute hand, when I push the crown back in, it is almost guaranteed to jump forward or back by up to 2 minutes. This defeats the object of the hacking feature: What is the point of having synchronised seconds if your minutes are wrong?
That’s a good point. It usually took a couple attempts to get it close enough.
The thing I hate about clasps is that depending on how long it is, it feels like a whole other watch under your wrist. I want to enjoy seeing the bracelet, too. The PRX butterfly clasp is just perfect in this regard because it makes the bracelet feel like it wraps around the whole wrist. it's visually more appealing to me.
Got this one on Amazon for like $100 off, but I don't think I'd buy it at full price.

Informative comparison. Note that you can track a second timezone perfectly well on the original Timex Q. Only limitation is, unlike the GMT, you can't distinguish between am and pm in the second timezone.
So how can you distinquish it on the GMT?
@@khole15 A GMT has a fourth GMT hand that works with a 24-hour scale that you use to track a second time zone. The original Timex Q has no GMT hand, but you can track a second time zone by rotating the 12-hour bezel (whatever hour it is in the second time zone, just rotate the bezel to match that hour with the hour hand).
How does the watch look like with a nato strap? Does it need to be a 18mm nato strap because the link needs to be 18mm and the bracelet becomes larger to 20mm?

The BN0220 has been flipped and the NB6021 is one of my favourites at the moment. I’m still wearing that regularity and enjoying it!
How loud is the ticking on the GMT? Timex are usually fairly loud.
It’s not loud like cheap timex watches.

Ugh no half link or micro-adjust? Might as well just stay away since I'm perpetually between sizes
You can put a replacement clasp with micro adjustments on the GMT.
I wear mine on the original Q timex bracelet which allows for the perfect sizing

@@Marius_D they don't look different at all he's just holding them at slightly different angles. and maybe the diff colors and bracelets throw it off or something but nah they are definitely identical cases.
