Just wish the q timex had sapphire crystal. The acrylic glass scares me

Good video, both are great watches at their price range

Thanks for another really thoughtful video. I've been looking at several variations of the pepsi. This timex is certainly nice looking. I also looked at the seiko and the Tudor. Again all really nice watches with a similar look. But today I bought the rolex... Just because my other rolex are so reliable and great in so many ways. I don't think anyone will notice it but somehow these classic rolex designs just make me enjoy the day a little bit more.

Great video, but I have to disagree about servicing an inexpensive mechanical movement. If the watch is a keepsake and you want to replace the movement, even if it costs the price of the watch, it is still worth it. Compare what it costs to service a luxury watch like Rolex or Patek, so the $200 to replace a movement is well worth it. Some places will even charge less.

How did you get the Timex Q GMT at such a low price?

bothers me how the seconds hand on the timex doesnt match up to the numbers

Yeah, that’s definitely a complaint of mine. I try not to be too picky though for the price! It’s pretty great otherwise.
      Cheers!

I'll take a Pepsi Casio duro, please 😁

Another great option! Hard to beat the Casio for the price. I wish they were a bit smaller. The Casio is too big for my wrist. If it fits you well though, it’s a winner!
      Cheers.

More like 18-22k for the Pepsi Rolex. Unless you’re a top top client spending big bucks consistently you’ll never get one for $13k

This is a pre-ceramic model, not the current one. Nice examples can be bought for around $13K on the secondary market.

@@Time-Driven those are also almost 20 year old watches -- not new. So yes, if you want a 20 year old watch you can probly find one for 13K

@@maximus3511 they may be 20 years old, but they are still useful and aesthetically beautiful. Personally, I much prefer my pre-ceramic GMT over the modern version. The modern version has too beefy of a case for me and looks too flashy. I like the understated aesthetic of mine. It also keeps perfect time and hasn’t missed a beat. In the world of watches, great pieces stand the test of time. The 16710 has aged like a fine wine.
