I have a 14000 Airking from 1999 with 369 blue dial, and I love it, I did pay more for mine though due to this watch appreciating in value, I got it for 4500$ with box and paper in excellent condition, I still feel I overpaid although it does also come with 2 years warranty from the dealer.
a worthy investment nonetheless and worth spending a little more for the one you want and will actually wear. $4500 for a blue dial is a fair price. You can get them for less, but I think you did alright

I have Air King from 1973 and it is the best watch ever made , to my simple taste. 😊
I owned alot of expensive watches with different sizes and i can say that the rolex air king 34 mm or rolex 114200 is the best watch in the world.
