Have been keen to purchase the OSMO pocket for awhile, your dog has sold me. He's a beauty for sure. Love the new background artwork Terry, cut my teeth in the Black & White Darkroom in the early 80's and still find it a brilliant format 👍
I'm with you, I have done a lot of Black and White images over the year and still love it. I think you will like the DJI Osmo Pocket 3 - I'm having a blast with mine.
I was looking at that, in Final cut it is called Optical flow under video quality. It worked great on some files but not so on others. It didn't look good on these birds. I also tested the Topaz video AI, and it wasn't much better for these clips. If you have insight on something I'm missing, let me know.
I tried it both ways and ended up with single focus for the best results for this kind of work. I do mostly leave it on continuous focus for the most part.
Hi. I have another question on this, as I've been practicing. The 180 degree shutter rule. If put my shutter speed up to say, 4000, I don't have a 2000 frame rate to follow the 180 rule. So what frame rate do I use? 25? 30? 60? I'm confused (I have ND filters but in normal mode I only have max 60fps, or in slomo, 120 but that's fixed in slomo mode. Thanks!
Yes, this slow motion technique is a bit off from the standard of the 180 degree rule. Keep in mind that in the final use, it will be shown much slower. When I know I will edit in slow motion, I set my shutter speed higher than normal and set my frame rate at 120. If you do some experiments, you will see that when editing to slow motion, this technique works way better. However for everything else, I use the 180 degree rule and I use the ND filters to get good motion blur. Good luck.
Wow, that goldfinch incoming shot was truly amazing!
Thank you, I thought that was pretty cool, too.
Any adjustments on low light flickering issue for pocket 3
That can be an issue. When in low light I make sure to go back to normal Shutter Speed based on frame rate.
The dog at the end made my whole day !!! Thanks for the info brotha I’m headed to pickup the pocket 3 creator combo this weekend !!!
Ha, Colby the Beagle making his way into another video. Thanks for watching, I think you will really enjoy the Pocket 3.
👍👏👏👏please do tutorial on various gimbal modes and how to use it and for what situations
Noted! Thanks for watching.

Nice video. You could make an interpolations between frames. It is possible and produces super natural slowmo increasing number of frames.

When I record in 4k 120 its slowing it down for me in the camera, to 30fps. How can I stop it from doing that? I have everything else at 24fps.
Be sure your settings are on manual and not auto.
I love my own slow motion video with OP3. Thank you for the lesson!
You're welcome! It's a pretty versatile tool.
Hi. Question. When you were filming the birds, did you have it set to single or continuous focus? Thanks.

G R E A T !!! Please more of This!!! 👀👀👀👀👀👀👀👀👀👀👀👀👀👀
Awesome, I love doing these kinds of video, because I'm learning as well. Thanks for watching.

Thanks for the helpful info :)
You're welcome, thanks for watching.
Thanks, terry--I'm a subscriber to your channel now!
Awesome, thank you!
Thanks. shutter speed 4000, frame rate 120.
Pretty wild I know. But it works as long as you are slowing it down in post production.
Excellent ...!!! liked ...subed ...etc ....cheeerrrsss...!!!
YES!! Thanks for the sub!
i disagree...too jerky...not slow motion at all
Thanks for watching!
