Just to be clear here, ethnic back ground does not define the person and who cares...Thank you Ms. Badii for your explanation as it helped me greatly to understand how to present the data I have prepared for my research proposal. Great Job!!
What if I have conditions for the Variable 1 and 2 range? I have two Universities that answered differently. So I tried =TTEST(IF(Universitiy=1;Answers_Question_1);(IF(University=2;Answers_Question_2);2;3) but it is not working.
Where are you getting .05 and why are you comparing the P values for one and two tails against eachother? Aren't you suppossed to compare those against the critical value for T at alpha .5 for a two tail and .01 for a one tail??
If on Excel 2013 you can go to data and on the right it should say Data analysis where you can choose what kind of test you want to use. If your excel doesn't show that (mine didn't), you have to add the add-in. Go to File, options, add-ins, manage your add ins, checkoff AnalysisToolPak and click ok. It will be there! :)
No. She said we can't reject the null hypothesis. The hypothesis is that the treatment will reduce stress levels. The null hypothesis is that there will not be a significant difference between µ1 & µ2. The results show this is the case so we have not accomplished the goal of rejecting the null hypothesis which means the hypothesis is wrong.
I really believe if you professors, teachers, etc are going to explain how to do an equation, I really believe you should teach in kindergaten form for beginners, explainning why you are using different methods to solve these equations and I'm not understanding y is these types of test useful or when we are going to use this in real life smh and I also agree with DCNCIDER! I gave this a dislike sorry!

Thank you so much! I've been trawling around for so long trying to find this out and nothing else was helping :D so happy now :D
This video was extremely helpful and very clear. Thank you for helping to make this easy to understand Ms. Badii!
great video mam thanks for your input
Thank you very much. I've been looking for it for a very long long long time...
Thank you so much for giving your time and for sharing your knowledge!
Carol :)
you have to set up the data analysis in excel if you are using 2010, google how to set up t-test, it's straight forward.
Hi if we want to use the one tailed test..is the output here left tailed or right tailed ?
Thank you very much for your contribution. It became very useful to me.
video is good for explanation but you should take distance between you and your mic ..it's noisy

struggle town, you had a lot of trouble putting your thoughts into words.

The explanation could have been better...
are you iranian?
confusing as to accept or reject null
Could you update this? Excel no longer has a tool option

I'm so pissed that OpenOffice can't do this :((( I have to do it for my class, and OpenOffice just returns some number, not all the data that need.
You said "we fail to reject the hypothesis", does it mean "we accept the hypothesis"? Ridiculous.

Totally horrible. The fumbling on determining fail to reject indicates that the narrator first need to learn what she is talking about. Waste of time.

shes is clearly iranian. the accent is too obvious haha
