Man, this might sound ridiculous and make me sound like a dumb fuck, however; your video has been the key to finishing my bachelor thesis. THANK YOU! We need more 2 minute 51 second videos on this goddamn platform.
Hi Tom, Thanks! In this test we set the Alpha to .05 What that means is that we are using .05 as the p-value cutoff point for whether we accept the null hypothesis that the samples are equal or reject the null hypothesis, and select the alternative hypothesis that the means are different. Because our p-value is less than .05, we reject the null hypothesis and choose the alternative hypothesis that the group means are significantly different. The critical t-tail value is the t score needed to reach the threshold of .05. As you can see, the t score is larger than the cutoff, meaning that the groups are significantly different.
You should have unchecked the labels box so that you use all of your data. Your analysis used the first data point as a label and did not include it in the calculation. Otherwise, nice clear explanation. Thank you.
Probably because they didn't uncheck the "labels" box, thus the program assumed the first value highlighted was a label and didn't take it into account.
If you do not see "Data Analysis" under the data tab, go to Options --> Add Ins --> Manage Excel Add-In "Go" and activate the Data Analysis add in.
Thanks!
You’re a life saver thank you
ONFVOEAN IW YOU'RE SUCH A QUEEN OMFG THANK YOU!!!!!!
Thanks bro
Lifesaver! Thank you
thank god for technology and having the means to find these tutorials especially when a human is not available.
An actual "nice and short" tutorial, thank you!
Thank you!!!! You just saved me from withdrawing from my stats class for my phd program
@@Rkisosondi Awesome! This is why i wanted to start a channel

This helped SO much you have no idea thank you so much man!!!
Dude you saved my life, thank you so much man!
O my gosh! Thank you so much! Now I don't have to get up at 4:30 to go to the computer lab!
Simple and straighfoward. Great job!
thank you so much for the video but why would not we take mean difference in data analysis table. Please answer
You're a lifesaver! Thank you so much for this.
Great video - but how do we interperate the p value and t tail value? Thanks

Thank you so much holy cow
Nice one :)
How come it shows you only have 13 observations and not 14 for each variable?
Probably because they didn't uncheck the "labels" box, thus the program assumed the first value highlighted was a label and didn't take it into account.
You fuckign beast
