Greetings from Australia. It was such a pleasure to listen to and watch a gifted teacher. Your presentation is a model for others to follow. The clarity was superb as was your communication style. Thank you so much. Best wishes,
Thanks so much for uploading!!! Currently doing my dissertation and have forgotten all the stats I learned in previous years so this was super helpful :D
Step 1 - square each of the differences between each pair (7.56, -3.02, etc.) and add them to get 1905.7473. Step 2 - sum each of these same differences to get 75.27. Step 3 - 9 (sample size) * 1905.7473 - (75.27^2) = 11486.1528 Step 4 - 11486.1528/(sample size*sample size -1) = 11486.1528/(9*8) = 159.5299 Step 5 - square root of 159.5299 = 12.630515

hey man i know its been years but are you alright now? you seem to be ill in the video. anyways thank you for the video, even though it wasnt really all that clear as you did not do it step by step haha. it was still helpful as it enlightened my understanding a bit. namaste.
Hi if find your explanation here as usefull and understandable.. if you dont mind i have a question if its ok .. Can you show or at least explain to me through your reply on how can i get the ttest .. here's Rate 1=agree 2=neutral 3=disagree question 1 question 2 Something like that.. we have a question then the 100 respondent will check what they choose.. our prof said we need to use ttest to explain the statistics of our survey.. p.s sorry english is not my 1st language i hope you understand my explanation

Fantastic walk-through. You took a fairly complicated topic and made the step-by-step easy to understand. Thank you!
8 years later, still helping students, thanks!

same here
Great explanation! It helped me a lot for my experimental design homework! Thanks :)
nice explanation, though it doesn't fully clear my worries but provided a pathway to which I was able to obtain the solution...thanks
Good explanation in a concise manner.
Very good presentation!
Many thanks
1 Question, which tool do you use to write atop from excel ?
Thank you a lot!! Your presentation is very useful!
Very well explained
don't you have to subtract the p value by 1 to get the area of the right side? so 1 - .0411?
Thank you so much for the video! very helpful.
how do you calculate the standard deviation step by step please?
Step 1 - square each of the differences between each pair (7.56, -3.02, etc.) and add them to get 1905.7473.
Step 2 - sum each of these same differences to get 75.27.
Step 3 - 9 (sample size) * 1905.7473 - (75.27^2) = 11486.1528
Step 4 - 11486.1528/(sample size*sample size -1) = 11486.1528/(9*8) = 159.5299
Step 5 - square root of 159.5299 = 12.630515

question 1
question 2
Something like that.. we have a question then the 100 respondent will check what they choose.. our prof said we need to use ttest to explain the statistics of our survey..
p.s sorry english is not my 1st language i hope you understand my explanation
what happens when the t test is negative ?
Thanks you for this!
I computed the p value, its 0.0822. please clarify, :) thanks Sir
You probably use two tails version
Superb
Perfectly.. Thank you
great, great, great!
thank you.
Could trim these videos by about 25% if you would get a drawing pad. Writing with a mouse is painful to watch. Otherwise good vid, thanks!
amazing but Jesus fucking christ stop sneezing onto the microphone
He keeps sneezing and does not bother to edit it out. wtf
