This sonata often languishes at the bottom of the pile but this duo really bring it to life. The performance is dramatic and lively which left me with a lot of ideas for my own rendition.

I think it's a really beautiful version of Schuman sonata, full of drama and pain. Braunstein and Argherich have sometimes slightly different ideas of the phrase and the tempo, so they don't go together in some places. But the sound they get is so rich and expressive.
