I've been doing wall squats, and KETO diet. Yes, healthy food is expensive, so I do a lot of intermittent fasting, which is also great for your health. The way I see it, I'm better off fasting then satisfying my hunger with sugary snacks. They might fill the belly, but there is no real sustenance behind them. Anyway, working out and a healthy diet does improve veins. It has helped my spider veins.

Thank You so much for your video! I used horse chestnut power dissolved in witch hazel while pregnant with my fifth baby. It helped them from getting worse. I had really bad varicose veins. Towards the end of my pregnancy I started taking a magnesium supplement called Calm by natural vitality. It made the biggest difference in my veins. Most of the pain from them was gone in 3 weeks. I buy it for every pregnant woman I know. I still take it every day and my baby is 6 months old. It really helps!!!!

Thank you Dr Axe for a very informative video on how to get rid of varicose veins. I never appreciated the importance more than I do now. I have always been health conscious but over past three decades, I have not paid as close attention to certain areas of my health. That my body was trying to exhibit to me over time. Varicose veins oddly haven't always been a problem in thirties. They seemed to sneak up over time. What with work office jobs. Trying to get back into more walking and supplement suggestions are appreciated as Ì do not want to ingest drugs into my body unnecessarily. I have been taking an organic COLLAGEN supplement but stopped for awhile due to budget constraints. After downsizing, I will be striving to get back on track with my health overall. Varicose veins being one of those issues. Thank you so much for offering alternative suggestions to improve and hopefully rid my legs of spider and varicose veins soon. Takes time but optimistic and feeling more empowered to correct this health issue for myself.

I’m so glad for honest Dr’s like you. These videos on RUclips are becoming more difficult to find. Because of the massive overhaul of censorship. I had a few problems with my varicose veins. They used to give me pain from time-to-time. And then I started running. I had a few lumps and bumps. They’ve nearly all gone bar one. I run 5 miles a week. Running is also good for cells as you’re inhaling more oxygen. It’s good for the bones. It keeps them strong.
What’s in the ‘Bone Broth?’ I don’t eat meat. As we’re plant based people. Meat contains a lot of chemicals which causes cancers.

The doctor prescribed pills, I drank them, but the general condition was very bad, I could not step on my foot, and I had no strength at all, I even spoke with difficulty, I just lay there. It was so bad that I thought it was all over. Cellular nutrition helped me, I began to take it, and after the first intake, strength appeared, it is easier to speak. A week later, an ultrasound scan showed that the thrombus had resolved, although the doctor warned us that you should adjust for 3 months not earlier. I am sure that it was due to the cellular nutrition that the thrombus was so quickly resolved, it turns out that cellular nutrition thins the blood and improves the quality of the blood. A month later, blood tests were normal👌😁

Well, more than anything, I noticed that Cypress essential oil took away the pain almost immediately. That was the biggest change I noticed. I've been using Cypress oil for a couple of months, but still see some of the blue lines. These are larger varicose veins, not tiny spider veins. The blue is lighter, but it will take more time to heal. I hope that helps. If you're interested in taking away the appearance, there are creams available that help. But essential oils help heal, in my opinion. Thanks for posting and asking!

Any vein surgeon will tell you - and show you via ultrasound - that if you have actual vein disease you have reflux/faulty valves even in veins you don’t even see as varicose. Those veins which have to do the most work under pressure will eventually show up as varicose. It’s ok, don’t blame yourself or think you could have fully prevented them - yes, try to maximize your circulation, don’t strain, eat clean and drink fluids, reduce stress, etc. but if you exercise - anything strenuous except maybe swimming - eventually you’ll see more of them. But do you really want to avoid exercise with all its benefits because you nag get some more varicose veins? That’s your trade-off.

Actually that is cypress oil , not cyprus!! I have varicose veins and walk for exercise, cycling also helps, preferably on a stationary bike. Running seems to aggravate the problem. I would not do squats with weights, just use your own bodyweight. The more weight you use, the higher your blood pressure spikes and causes your veins to bulge even more. If you ride a bicycle be very careful so that you don't fall because you can cause some serious injuries to your veins and that might lead to other problems such as blood clots or possibly even ulcers....

I've just had stripping for the second time. Also had Injections on 2 other occasions in my left leg.
Surgery is the gold standard way to treat them however I would only advise this if it causes excessive pain as the surgery is quite evasive.
Touching on exercise I'm a Personal Trainer and I do fitness classes everyday as well as my own training.
I find that while I'm training pretty much all the symptoms go away but I do wonder if some things make it worse, it's hard to tell and is pretty much a guessing game.
My opinion on this since struggling from the age of 13 and now I've struggled with it for 20 years is to just live your life.
Eat well and look after your body.
I get a lot of swelling and found that Serrapeptase is the only thing that keeps this at bay. This also disolves blood clots so if anyone suffers from DVT this should help them too.

But after reading what you wrote, I will be thinking twice about it (Dr's even recommend to wear compression stockings!). What about using "Hirudoid Cream" on varicose veins?
