I wish. Building the tooling for an 80’s design would cost a lot for what it will build. But still beats the 60’s design of the 737. Would need to MAX it with new engines and wings, Sky Interior, etc to be quieter, more efficient, and with longer cruising range. It’d be a great product but would cost a fortune for what would be returned.
@@ecoRfan Unfortunately, economics rule the roost! It's an absolute tank to fly, unstoppable! As a passenger riding in her for 7+ hours can get claustrophobic! The money spent to retool one of their plants would not be paid back, ever. ecoRfan is right, it would have to be completely be redone. The 75', like the 717, is a niche aircraft and neither A or B have another aircraft that can fill it unless you use a 762 and fly it (intentionally) with empty seats.
@@dpm-jt8rj Yep. While it won't happen due to cost, but the best replacement for the 757, is the 757. It's a design that was a bit before its time when twin jets weren't able to fly across oceans.
Delta along with United uses Pratt & Whitney 2000/2037 engines for their 757s, slightly less powerful but to my ears quieter than the Rolls-Royce RB211 engines used by American, Continental, US Airways (and Donald Trump) for their 757s, with their characteristic screaming 'buzzsaw' sound spooling up to max power for take off. Check out other 757 videos for comparison - eg US Airways 757 takeoff from San Diego or Phoenix or Icelandair from Toronto. 757s are overpowered hot rods and a pilot's favorite.
11:57 Anyone know what that white things is running from right to left at the top of the screen til 12:08? Definitely not a cloud as its moving too fast. Anyone else see it?
Tristan Jacobs Because they own Atlanta😂, it started in Macon, Georgia. They have an entire side for themselves at the Airport. Expensive but nice flight experiences!
Its actually because its Delta's headquarters. I live in College Park, next to the airport. It's a Delta museum also, with 3 retired planes you can tour. You will barely see any other airlines in ATL through domestic. International side, not so much.
Between 11:55 and 12:03, something happens at the bottom of the plane. In the sky at a fantastic speed. I just looked at it, I don't know what it is or say anything.
As a 1982 born child I am proud to say that the original 757 / 767-200 retro classic were a part of me for 39 years thankful
I just love flying
Elsa MyQueen me too!
Me three
Me 8,000
No way bitch! :O
Me too it's my passion! ❤✈❤✈❤✈❤💯
Architects: How many terminals do you want us to build?
Atlanta airport: Yes.
I love Delta
I really like flying these Delta 757s with the new Boeing Sky Interior - pretty darn comfy!! Thanks for the upload!
Kyle Niqu

Cool, starts off cloudy, then flying through Blue sky👍

The 757 should re-enter production.
I agree! I love the Delta 757s!

It would be nice if it would happen, imagine a 757 MAX! But, it will not happen.
I Love the take offs it’s very spectacular
Delta airlines is the best

757s always have a lot of wing flex.

Yep, was wondering the same.
Looks like a stray cirrus cloud to me..
You should do longer flights. Like from Atlanta to New York, or California, or Washington State.
Nice takeoff
This plane is still in operation today
It’s delivery was the same time 90 percent of my HS class was born lol. Love a good 757 takeoff.
Give this RUclipsr a like if u live in Georgia also why is delta so famous in Atlanta
Tristan Jacobs Because they own Atlanta😂, it started in Macon, Georgia. They have an entire side for themselves at the Airport. Expensive but nice flight experiences!
My wife just flew with Delta to Portland this past week. Don't know why it's popular, didn't know it was. Lol
Hartsfield is like their biggest hub. Like Jet Blue and JFK.

Detroit is another big hub for Delta
My favorite aircraft!
Delta Airlnes Boeing 757-200 Talkeoff From Atlanta
Was that a satellite at 11:57 ?
Right when it enters the screen you can see the "T" tail going away and down.
Maybe its a bird or another plane or some other aircraft
Another plane, at 11:57 they're probably only at 15k feet. So that object is around 30-40k feet.
no it was another plane and you could tell because of the contrails
It looks like a 737-700 or 737-800
What kind of camera? Great video!
Thunderstorms have been started since you took off
Anyone else catch that Korean Air A380? I fly out of Atl a lot and have never seen any there.
Sort of hard to miss it, what a monstrosity of a plane!
19 hour flight
Great video👍
cloudy skies....
Nice video I subscribed
What seat where you sitting in
I miss the 777s already

What happened?
Awesome video! A big like & sub'd.

Who’s going to rescue you if you do crash In to the ocean they should make them floatable planes if need be
the cabin crew made the taxi calm and relaxing
What's the trick to getting views on your videos?
Just make something interesting
Geez, taxing took longer than the flight.
