  • Heading out of Atlanta on a bright and sunny Spring morning, flying to Puerto Rico on a brand new, two-month-old 737. After leaving our gate in the D Concourse, we taxied out to Runway 27R for take off-watching a few other Delta 737-900ERs taking off for the Caribbean along the way. The takeoff was very smooth, with some great engine sounds and a nice view of the entire airport. After our initial climbout, we turned to the south to head in the direction of our destination. Clear skies made for a gorgeous view on this flight, especially when we took off.
This seat was a little hard to film from by hand because the window was aligned with my back, so the footage got a little shaky at times.
Our arrival into San Juan was also very picturesque; you can find that video here: • Delta 737-900ER Landin... .

That noise is gorgeous. The buzz from those engines, beautiful view, nice capture of the other plane taking off just out the window. Great video. Thanks for this. Absolutely love take off on planes. 😍

The number of Delta planes in this one video is mind-boggling. I work for Delta at a small station and we can only have 5 planes on the ground at once, only 2 of which are ever moving at the same time. I couldn't imagine working here.

Beautiful aircraft. Hate to hear about the many problems with Boeing and the 737. Get it together Boeing! Great tradition and history of wonderful aircraft.

Boeing planes are junk. Very small, claustrophobic, and very cold. Also when landing you get thrown forward

Good news is Delta is phasing them out! Much rather fly on a 737-900ER than an ancient MD-88, don't like the thought of flying on a 30 year old plane
