- Heading out of Atlanta on a bright and sunny Spring morning, flying to Puerto Rico on a brand new, two-month-old 737. After leaving our gate in the D Concourse, we taxied out to Runway 27R for take off-watching a few other Delta 737-900ERs taking off for the Caribbean along the way. The takeoff was very smooth, with some great engine sounds and a nice view of the entire airport. After our initial climbout, we turned to the south to head in the direction of our destination. Clear skies made for a gorgeous view on this flight, especially when we took off.
This seat was a little hard to film from by hand because the window was aligned with my back, so the footage got a little shaky at times.
Our arrival into San Juan was also very picturesque; you can find that video here: • Delta 737-900ER Landin... .

My son is a Delta flight attendant. 1 year. So proud of him!
I love how across the way you can see another plane in total sync with this one!
That noise is gorgeous. The buzz from those engines, beautiful view, nice capture of the other plane taking off just out the window. Great video. Thanks for this. Absolutely love take off on planes. 😍
The number of Delta planes in this one video is mind-boggling. I work for Delta at a small station and we can only have 5 planes on the ground at once, only 2 of which are ever moving at the same time. I couldn't imagine working here.
Yup, Atlanta's pretty huge
i love Delta in Atlanta. but being at a hub here in Detroit has it's perks
@@RealBron03 Wayne Metro is in a league of its own.
Beautiful aircraft. Hate to hear about the many problems with Boeing and the 737. Get it together Boeing! Great tradition and history of wonderful aircraft.
Boeing planes are junk. Very small, claustrophobic, and very cold. Also when landing you get thrown forward
Dieses ewige syntethische Gesabbel, bis hin zum Star,t geht jedem auf die Nerven.
good ole ATL home sweet home..
Yes bro
That Airport Is Ginormous!!! Tons Of Nice Restaurants Inside & Easy To Navigate With The Plane Train
So many MD-80s! Love it!
Yep, this is the last place you can find them!
Good news is Delta is phasing them out! Much rather fly on a 737-900ER than an ancient MD-88, don't like the thought of flying on a 30 year old plane
bfrancioso inflows on a 45 year old planes there really not bad actually
@@alexsxvz first off, I'm a boy. I did fly a Delta MD-88 after I made that comment, it was a great plane! I personally found it more comfy than the 737-800 I flew to my final destination
I also fly delta all the time and that is the typical takeoff, love it
I love all the md 80's in the background.
Right, my first reaction.
3 trillion trees on the Earth and looking at that beautiful sight on take off, I can actually believe it.
I didn't control my first love being aviation but I am happy, every single day, that that is what it is
7:07 who else was watching the other plane land??
So quiet! damn!
I find this satisfying
I'm from Atlanta and never been on a plane before 😞💔
I hope it happens for you bro..👌🏽
Unlucky
I'm from Atlanta had my 1st flight in 2014 it was fun
You should bro
You should bro
I just love your videos! I wish there had been much less taxi time so we could enjoy that brand new amazing engine and seen so far on such a beautiful day. 11 minutes of taxi is just a bit much for me but it is a great video
What is that along the top front edge of the wing? Where the blue meets the silver. Looks like a ripped up wing... weird
Think you’re just seeing the slats…
Those are the slats.
Apparently this will
Help me with flying 😅
does anyone else thing that the engines sounded odd during the takeoff spool up?
Little did anyone know but this was actually Helios 522 “dun, dun DUN!!”
I'm going to Atlanta tomorrow to go back to St. Louis from Jacksonville, FL
great video :)
thanks for this video
Love ATL!
awesome video AviationADM
Video very nice 👍 delta airlines ✈️ usa 🇺🇸
I hear and see this shit almost every day since I travel a lot I’ve gotten used to chewing gum and eating airline food XD
The best flight I was ever on. Love you Delta
So green , Georgia
I love Delta....
2014 - GRU -> Detroit-> MCO
2015 - GRU -> ATL -> MCO
No wake turbulence?
The only time I’ve been on a 737 is from ATL-PLS
A lot of md80's there.
Headrests lowered??? They don't mention that on their Airbus aircraft and other Boeing planes with headrests.
Arm rests
RIP TAKEOFF
They sound louder
Iae engine but silenced
Ughhh Boeing planes take forever to lift off and climb 🤢
Such a beautiful, sharp, & "crisp" video. I watched a few more of your videos and see the same sharpness in each video. Totally love the "buzz" of those engines, and also loved the Delta blue against the blue sky (see shortly after take off) .. wonderful wonderful video! Definitely warrants a "Subscribe"!
Mujer noo quiero casado muerto
Wow, that is a big airport. Lots of terminals.
I love this so much
