To everyone saying that the fastforward category is unfair because people with beefier PCs can win: You're absolutely right. But that's ok, as it's not that serious and we just run for fun. The vanilla category still exists if you want to play without any speedups, but the speedups allow for so many more crazy strategies to exist. The lag also only shows up on scenarios that require quite a lot of guests, so something like Electric Fields with a 700 guest goal is entirely fair.
Perhaps the speedrunning categories for OpenRCT2 should be split into Glitches and Glitchless categories. This way those who prefer to break and game can do so. This also splits up the leaderboards nicely. And allows viewers more choice, if they don't want to watch glitch WR attempts. EDIT: A Vanilla Glitches-only category might also work. EDIT 2: Also, I'm curious. Depends. If you don't have a guest goal and are pay per ride park then short ques with a high throughput to max income. It doesn't mater if your guest spend all their cash within 10 minutes of entering the park. If you do have a guest goal then long ques to trap the guest in the park and reduce overcrowding to prevent them from leaving.
