Awesome stuff, again! Been a minute since we've had clear skies, so I'm itching to get back out there!

Thanks, I know right, I’m so fed up with these clouds, I haven’t seen the weather this unsettled in years, clear skies soon 🙏

Awesome photo as always, Tom. I just got some Askar color magic filters similar to your Baader, meant for color cameras. I've been figuring out back focus so it's nice to see you learning similar filters as well. Clear skies mate

Nice video Tom, can I ask why you’re using individual narrowband filters with a OSC camera.? It’s not normally how we do it as with a OSC camera you are only using 1/4 of the resolution for blue and red and 1/2 for green…you would be much better with a dual band narrowband filter….

Yeah I know, I’m just waiting for my new camera to come, I just bought the ASI6200 monochrome but waiting on stock for this and then my ASI2600 mc pro colour will go on my askar 120apo, I’m looking forward to going monochrome it will be a nice learning experience. Have you managed to get out in the observatory? I only managed 4 hours of clear skies before clouds rolled in again. 👍

      @@Learn_astrophotography Askar 120, you have a good collection now..😮
No I have been really busy and we go away on holiday on Monday for 11 days, fo some needed sunshine…so no imaging for me for a while ☹

I was looking at the new 185 but that thing is just to big, the 120 is is much more manageable, yeah the collection is getting a bit much for the observatory, I’m building a new office so I can store the scopes, enjoy your break away, hopefully it will be nice and hot for you 🥵 we will be here 🥶 lol

Great video again Tom, deep sky stacking groups, is that a setting?

Thanks Bill, on DSS at the bottom there is a small bar that says main group you can add more for different lights instead of stacking individually and trying to match all your images, I will do a video to show how I stack my images 👍

I’ve got a few more nebula paintings..I’ve been giving them away to family a good friends but I’m gonna see if anyone would like to purchase any artwork..I can do commissions , and if any of your beautiful subscribers have any grand ideas of colourful nebulas or general space related imagery , I can work with them to create a beautiful colourful addition to their home for a very reasonable fee ..soz to hijack the platform guys but Tom can vouch for my character id like to think ..my art though is subjective and can only really be appreciated in real life ❤ sub to this channel guys if you haven’t already
