    Considering you started just recently, you really seem to have a natural nack for both making nice videos and astrophotography. 👍 I do believe that the company making the HyperStar is named after the state of Arizona with St added in front. 😊
    Looking forward to seeing the results with this very nice setup!

      I really appreciate your comment 😊 I wasn’t sure if the videos are any good, my wife knows I have started RUclips but hasn’t watched any videos yet 🫣 so I haven’t asked anyone if there are good 😂 I was just enjoying doing them. That’s an interesting fact I didn’t know that, hopefully next weekend I’ll send a video of me running the hyperstar for the first time. Thanks again 👍

    Tom thanks for the video. I am researching getting a Hyperstar for my standard C11. This video is great. The only thing that is a small pet peeve of mine is the loud background music. Sometimes it's hard to hear you over the music and it is a bit distracting.

      Sorry, I was unwell when making these videos and didn’t hear or watch them back, I have adjusted all my new videos to -12db and music to -22db when talking, I’m hoping this will sort out my bad sound editing. I’m still working out how to do all this ☹️ I think I will be ok now let me know on my new videos and if it’s still not rich please let me know. I really appreciate your feedback 👍

    Another great video Tom, maybe you should have bought the RASA 11 to start with, as that’s what you essentially have now…the 294 is a very good camera, but it does have its quirks quirks, such as amp glow, so you will deffo need to take flats with it to remove the glow. But it will give superb images when calibrated well.
    Look forward to seeing your first light with the hyper star…👍🏻

    • @Learn_astrophotography
      @Learn_astrophotography  5 месяцев назад +2

      Thanks for your comment, I was thinking about the RASA to start with but I also love that I can now switch from 2800 to 540mm focal, I wanted that great for planets and nebula which I’m hoping I will get now. Yeah I heard the amp glow is a bit much but will be good experience processing with a more tricky camera 👍

    Another nice video! Hyperstar is great. I gave two. Version 3 for my edge HD 8 and version 4 for my C 9.25. I also have a rasa 8 as well. Redundant I know but I love gadgets. You will love the speed and the detail you get. You essentially made an 11 inch rasa with the ability to use it at F 10, f1.9, F 7 or with a Barlow for planetary. It is a little challenging at first to deal with sensor tilt and collocation as well as the narrow focus point but once you have it dialed in, you will love the ability to even image multiple targets in one night. Great job. Luis from NY

Do you connect your computer to the mount directly via USB? If so, how do you connect the other USB devices? I have tried running a separate USB connection to the Dew Heater Controller but I cannot seem to get my Dew Heater Controller and Star Sense Austoguider to both show up in CPWI.

    • @stevepauley1200
      @stevepauley1200 5 месяцев назад

      Wow! Thanks for responding. I got a Seestar in November of last year and decided I wanted something for planets. After doing a lot of research I decided on the Evolution 6. I’m 55 so I didn’t want to get something too big. Then my son and I who got his 1st scope a Nexstar 130slt took a trip down to Tucson my hometown from Phoenix about a 2 hour drive to have Dean check our scopes and dial them in. We got to talking and he asked if I knew about Hyperstar which I told him I did. We talked more and I bit the bullet and purchased a Hyperstar, Asi533MC Pro and an AsiAir Plus. He installed and calibrated my scope and went through some setup. What a Great bunch of folks there, plus they’re about to open their 3rd shop in Tucson. Just a little tidbit, all their signature products a made in-house and only the glass is out sourced and they have their products on board the ISS. Anyway Dean also installed the Antila Tri-Band Ultra RGB on the Hyperstar. I still have some learning to do but I’ll get there. Here is my 1st Orion shot with 10 sec exposures for about 30 minutes. Folks have said I’ll get bitten by aperture fever and get a 8se for my Evo mount, but the right circumstances would have to play out. Hopefully we can chat more.224948

      Thanks for your comment. Ok so firstly make sure you’re out of focus. . With the 3 screws in the hyperstar loosing them all to the same length and then do half rotations until they are finger tight. With your asi studio run preview on continuous and see how the star looks hopefully like a donut with the hole in the centre, if it’s off that’s fine, get a pen or pencil and put over the corrector plate to identify where the bigger gap is on the out of focus star and slightly tighten, do this until your donut looking star is even. Just small adjustments, and take your time. I hope this helps. 🤞

    • @kano2297
      @kano2297 2 месяца назад

      I didn't mean that, Tom. I meant why when you install the HyperStar + Duo 2600 camera exactly as you did in this video, I see in Asir that the stars are very large (zoom). I was truly amazed!!! Would that be out of range!! Here what is the correct dimension measurement??? Is it 59.7 am, or is it more than that, 69 or 79? This is what really frustrated me. I don’t want to ask Starzona. I only want the professionals.
