What makes these movies so special is that throughout all my life, ever since I was a little kid watching this, I’ve always been able to connect emotionally with the characters in some way.
I know what you mean but think about the ending of spiderman 3. Harry made peace with Peter. Peter has forgiven Flint for killing his uncle. And then he and MJ have forgiven each other. In the end Peter is in peace with the things that happend in his life and lives with MJ happily ever after. (You can see that Rami saw the reboot coming so he ended the third film like this.)

Yeah it's just really sad when Spider-Man 3 ends it's like there's still a hole. Like fuck Harry just died. It would've been amazing if they made peace and then made a Spider-Man 4 with Harry and Peter as like partners. It was just like when the series ended we felt so sad and there's still a hole. I wish they didn't fuck up the third one too much with like ruining venom, and like just randomly throwing him into the movie with no meaning and having the guy who plays venom as a guy who's mad at Peter for literally getting him fired from his job. It's not enough to even make him venom Better if there wasn't venom at all or at least portray it the correct way. In the end the 3rd wasn't that great and the ending left a big hole. Spiderman and Tobey Maguire will always be my favorite but I wish they ended Tobeys legacy in the correct way.
Such a perfect Aunt May, I can’t believe Rosemary Harris is 93 years old and hasn’t retired yet, I hope she comes back in the upcoming MCU films with Tobey Maguire
The best Spider-Man of all time. Truly magical! That moment when Aunt May entered Peter Parker’s home, and Peter closed the door, but the handle came off in his hand. It’s little things like that, that showed how good Toby McGuire really is as an actor and playing Spider-Man. His timing is perfect, playing two characters alongside one another. One is accident prone, while the other saves the world from catastrophe.
I've been yearning for someone to speak to me like this my whole life. Someone who genuinely listen to you and gives you the best advice they can. Right from the heart, never superficial.
Santiago Efrain Franco That’s the one thing that ALL of these young and middle aged people on this planet to this very day DO NOT understand. And they NEED to do that right now while they’re still alive. It’s one of the only REAL ways to live.
Santiago Efrain Franco I agree with you because this principle also applies to women too. The ones who desperately seek out boyfriends or husbands just to be rid of their fear of loneliness even when they know deep down that they are NOT really ready to feel or be in love, they need to learn this principled lesson too. Weather they like it or not: whether want to believe it or not .
If they got rid of the emo and dancing Spiderman and actually made him angry and anti social like the symbiote suit dose in the comics it actually would be a really great film. I think that the should've saved Venom for a later film.

I love Sam Raimi's humanity approach to his trilogy. In the first film, Peter was in high school. Then the second movie, he was in college. And the last one is when they're working. I love the progression.
He was only high school for the origin part of the first film. There would've been a few more college scenes in the threequel if Avi Arad didn't mess with it.
What makes this so good is that everyone at some point needs to hear what she's saying. Spiderman 1, 2, and 3 aren't just movies, they're damn good life lessons. Forgive yourself folks, we're only human.
Scenes like this are what’s missing in the MCU. Spider-Man isn’t about being part of the avengers, Spider-Man isn’t being Tony shark’s sidekick, or fighting bad guys. It’s about the struggles we go through as individuals and overcoming them
The MCU Spiderman was pretty much left with nothing at the end of No Way Home. His whole journey in the MCU is about learning what it takes to be Spiderman.
This is what the new Spider-man films lack, scenes like this, emotions. Nun off the newer film really give us heart to heart in the way this trilogy has.
Aunt may then: your a good person Peter I know you will fix this. Even though we have to sacrifice things we want the most and it’s painful but you can do it Peter. I believe in you. Aunt may Now: go Peter kick his ass!!! Also I’m gonna use you to promote my things :)
She never knew Imagine the old lady nowing that her nephew is swinging and fighting crimes, being in danger all day, she wouldnt bear that in the long run
Optykful you got a point there. But somehow in my own case I always find that aunt May knows Peter is Spiderman despite in Spiderman 2 where Peter saved aunt May and he said "we sure showed him". Later we found that when Peter quits aunt May is giving him a subtle speech to come back being Spiderman. I always think aunt May secretly knows Peter is Spiderman.
Yoga Layang yea no lie that scene was too weird and how the little boy helping aint may looked up to spider man she knew it was peter the way he cared soo much in what the kid was saying about spidey
This is scene was just so relatable. And honestly makes feel better as I experienced something similar. Reimi is such a great director and spiderman will always be one of the best characters and heroes of all time tbh
I know there are a lot of people who say they don't like this movie for many reasons. Whether it be Venom's screentime, Peter being a jerk, or too many villains. But they fail to see all the good things about it. And this scene is one of the many reasons I loce this movie the same as the others. Peter has allowed his ego get the best of his life and allowed this alien drug to turn him into something he doesn’t recognize. And like many of us he doesn’t know how to fix any of his mistakes. But Aunt May tells him that the first step to healing is to forgive yourself, because the longer you hold onto your past mistakes yourselves never grow. And as sad as this is, but we will NEVER get a Spider-Man trilogy that goes this deep or feels this real ever again.
"I hurt her aunt may... I dont know what to do..." ...We have all been there I actually never had a good relationship with my parents but I had a very lovely Aunt that helped me when I needed it the most, she always knew what to say to make me feel better, I will forever be thankful for having her in my life, I never felt alone in my life thanks to her...
Every single scene in this trilogy was calculated. Even though they crammed a lot in this movie, they still managed to get character archs out of actors
Everytime I see aunt may and uncle Ben I keep forgetting they're not his actual parents, they're the best people in the entire marvel universe. Those kind of people r rare to meet and find in a world we live in.
This Aunt May was the best one. She reminds me so much of my great grandmother, God rest her soul. Plus both she and my great grandmother loved the Lord and were kind and decent people.
She is the best version, the mcu version is disgustingly crap IMO, doesnt even show any sign that she cared that her husband died, is completely ok with her nephew being spiderman, doesn't matter if he could die cause shes actually the one who packs the suit for him, shes bland as all hell
"i hurt her aunt may.......i dont know what to do" literally me in this situation. trying to fight battles on my own without realizing the damage thank you aunt may
An amazing scene..that I always tear up. Just a fantastic reminder, a road for redemption is to forgive yourself. If you can't forgive yourself, how can anyone forgive you.
Aunt May really did a great job molding Tobey’s Peter into the man we see in NWH, & I appreciate how much the lessons of forgiveness & believing others can be redeemed played a huge role in both SM3 & NWH.
Said a hurtful thing to a friend a month ago. Thinking the whole thing through I eventually thought of this scene. More relatable than it ever has been. I will forgive myself and go back to her
That's why this trilogy has aged well. Forget about the dated special effects in the first movie, the emotional depth is more important and Raimi's films have it in abundance. Compare them the avengers ones and it's like men and boys stuff.
1:28 I love this theme. This theme appears everytime Peter has an emotional breaktgrough with Aunt May (it also happens witg Stan Lee's cameo in Spider-Man 3).
The name of that theme is "Alone" but in this video the music is edited and the feeling is major than the original. I really love this theme and Farewell (Final Swing), Custome Montage is when peter makes draw of Spiderman. I prefer if they release Spiderman 4 they must put these themes again because i believe these songs are a character.
Some say the third part of the Trilogy couldnt live up to the First two. But now I got older and I find myself in so many things the Movies teached us: the First is: With great power comes great responsibility - often we wanna lean on our Power and get overhyped. We need to stay down to Earth. The second Movie is about anyone can be a Hero (When Peter lost is Spidersenses) The third is about forgivness - No matter what you do- your Friends will stay to you true
She reminds me of the best person in my life which is my grandmother who has taught me the best lessons in life this aunt may and my gran will always be my aunt may
This is why this film is my favorite of the trilogy because Peter makes mistakes that ruins his relationships and after this Scene he wants to make things right
So lovely how Aunt May handles it.. Says a few words of wisdom, and then gives him space to think about it, instead of outright pressuring him and smothering him
Every single scene with aunt may throughout Raimi’s trilogy hits you so hard emotionally. I feel like everyone could benefit from living life how aunt may advises peter to.
I had just gotten into an argument with a female friend and said things I shouldn't have. I had been bottling up feelings of anger & sadness and unleashed them on her. I don't know if our friendship can ever be what it was, I don't know if she'll ever forgive me. All I can do is try to forgive myself.
Aunt May ambiguously knew that Peter was Spiderman and loved him enough tp guide him on his journey and instill faith and teaching. A true parent she was.

@@DarkElitePredator Just saw this and it was Amazing. The camera angle the theme kicking in. Just amazing. I choked up and am not ashamed to admit it. Andrew tearing up after catching Mj. Tobey talking about how he and MJ made it work. Just awesome all around. Thanks for commenting!
1:22 Every man going through life feels this huff
This scene is so incredibly wholesome and heartwarming.
What makes these movies so special is that throughout all my life, ever since I was a little kid watching this, I’ve always been able to connect emotionally with the characters in some way.
I believe in you peter, you’re a good person man that hit hard
this is a powerful scene. it's helping me with my situation rn. very similar. 💯
Keemie jenkins DFAC bro
Dfac? What that mean?
Keemie jenkins disregard ,females acquire currency. Keep your head up through whatever tough situation you're in.
Thanks I really appericate it and that's what I've been trying to do thus far.
are you spiderman??😂
I wish this series would have finished it hurts towatch the movies knowing there will never be a definite ending
FREEZY[HD] Yes, I was watching the movie again yestreday. And I got sad, because the OST lets you know that this is a goodbye to the Tobey Spiderman.
Oh Man, I wish there was a Spiderman 4
I heard rumors floating around that this new Venom movie is connected to this Spider-man or the Amazing Spider-man. Anything is possible tbh
It's not enough to even make him venom
Better if there wasn't venom at all or at least portray it the correct way. In the end the 3rd wasn't that great and the ending left a big hole. Spiderman and Tobey Maguire will always be my favorite but I wish they ended Tobeys legacy in the correct way.
TheMonkey CZ he originally wanted to do Spiderman 4 but he couldn't finish the script in time so he and sony agreed on a reboot
It doesn't matter that most people hate this movie. They're wrong. This is probably the most powerful movie in the trilogy.
I think Spider-Man 2 is but this is still very powerful
I wouldn’t go that for but this movie does have excellent moments
LSSJOrangeLightning Spider-Man 2 is more powerful
Definitely the strongest emotionally
This movie has some good and powerful moments, but overall it's a horrid movie. The good doesnt outweigh the bad.
Such a perfect Aunt May, I can’t believe Rosemary Harris is 93 years old and hasn’t retired yet, I hope she comes back in the upcoming MCU films with Tobey Maguire
The audience would shit their pants. They wouldn’t bring her back because the MCU aunt may would be exposed as garbage
I don’t think there’s a scene more that can describe my life right now
I've been yearning for someone to speak to me like this my whole life. Someone who genuinely listen to you and gives you the best advice they can. Right from the heart, never superficial.
This was really sad u can feel peters depression because he had hit mj it so heartbreaking
This movie is not just about forgiving the people who wronged you. It's about forgiving yourself as well.
This is how my grandmother was....I miss her
I love your grandmother in Jesus name Amen.🙏🏽
Mine Too
Having a girlfriend or a wife is not everything, but living happy and cumfortable with yourself it is.
EXACTLY.!

When aunt may tells him hes a good person i cry
This scene is very relatable yet motivational all at once.
Beautiful music
1:25 Warm light from Aunt May contrasting with the isolating cold blue on Peter's face.
This scene proves the main point and lesson of the movie, which many people missed. Spiderman 3 was misjudged
This is the realest superhero movie with the realest issues.
Thats what im sayin, people talking about this far from home shit.
Spider-Man 2 is also very relatable.
If they got rid of the emo and dancing Spiderman and actually made him angry and anti social like the symbiote suit dose in the comics it actually would be a really great film. I think that the should've saved Venom for a later film.
@@nicktroisi6347 the emo dancing was fine, its literally what happens when a nerd gets a confidence boost, they do things that are out of character that they think are cool but actually arent
It was perfect since thats how the Symbiote would make Peter act
@michael-1453 tom hollands spiderman by far the WORST spiderman on screen and a horrible peter parker
Peter Parker is probably the Nicest Guy in the Universe, in real life you'll never meet anyone like him...
Yes you will.
Im a loner and so I've never met anyone or anyone good lol
They're out there. There may not be many, you may never meet one, but they are out there.
Everyone watching this stuff, reading these comments should strive toward being like Peter Parker.

Anyone else get tears watching this scene sometimes?
This world needs more people like her. I have a mom who is exactly like Aunt May.

Lessons Peter learned in every film

Spider-Man 2: Acceptance and Choice

She and Tobey had incredible chemistry in this trilogy. Probably the best.
I’m going through something similar to Peter. I feel like I hurt the girl that was my best friend who cared about me, we looked forward to the future. But something from my past made her uncomfortable, and ended what we had. She’s someone else now, she’s changed for the worst and I feel like I caused that change. Forgiving myself is the hardest part about this whole thing.
I hope you find peace and forgive yourself brother
I also did the same thing you did. A long friendship that was ended abruptly due to a mistake that I've made. It's easier to blame myself than it is to change and accept and move on.
I feel your pain. Me and my recent girlfriend had gotten into arguments and I hurt her feelings so badly she broke up with me. I feel so guilty about it regardless if I end up getting her back I just want it to be known she at least forgives me for my actions 😔
Too relatable.
@@wellingtonuzamere3511no matter what happens man, at least you acknowledge your wrong doing and from the sound of your comment, you strive to change and do better. And that’s all you need to do man
Such an emotional scene. Love the maguire movies way more then any other spider man movies
True... So true....
I need an aunty like May, Peter is an emotional mess really and she just lifts him up
There are more than just Aunt May since there's Ursula and Jameson's receptionist
What makes this so good is that everyone at some point needs to hear what she's saying. Spiderman 1, 2, and 3 aren't just movies, they're damn good life lessons.
Forgive yourself folks, we're only human.
Gotta love Rosemary’s Aunt May. Most of us grew up with her and I still hold onto the words she said. Love her
Hands down the best scene in this entire movie
no spiderman put his suit for the last time its the best scene
I can respect your opinion.
@@michaelwong6050I think that’s why No Way Home was my favorite. I just didn’t really get on with the journey like I did with the Raimi movies.
This is what the new Spider-man films lack, scenes like this, emotions. Nun off the newer film really give us heart to heart in the way this trilogy has.
Yea they are to focused on the next movie next bigger picture next action scene. No time to take time
Aunt may then: your a good person Peter I know you will fix this. Even though we have to sacrifice things we want the most and it’s painful but you can do it Peter. I believe in you.
Aunt may Now: go Peter kick his ass!!! Also I’m gonna use you to promote my things :)
Very emotional scene, helping me with a recent situation in my life. Thankful for the Spider-Man movies!
Surprised how aunt may never told peter she knew that he was spiderman
Kennedy Wilson bitches man bitches
She never knew
Imagine the old lady nowing that her nephew is swinging and fighting crimes, being in danger all day, she wouldnt bear that in the long run
Yoga Layang aaaaaamen Buddy!
Yoga Layang yea no lie that scene was too weird and how the little boy helping aint may looked up to spider man she knew it was peter the way he cared soo much in what the kid was saying about spidey
Needed this because I feel like peter right now
Absolutely beautiful scene
This is scene was just so relatable. And honestly makes feel better as I experienced something similar. Reimi is such a great director and spiderman will always be one of the best characters and heroes of all time tbh
Peter felt so ashamed that he couldn't face Aunt May
I know there are a lot of people who say they don't like this movie for many reasons.
I dont know what to do..."
...We have all been there I actually never had a good relationship with my parents but I had a very lovely Aunt that helped me when I needed it the most, she always knew what to say to make me feel better, I will forever be thankful for having her in my life, I never felt alone in my life thanks to her...
Every single scene in this trilogy was calculated. Even though they crammed a lot in this movie, they still managed to get character archs out of actors
There are moments like these that make the original better the reboot.
Sometimes i feel like this... i dont wanna hurt anyone anymore
There is no reboot that could get all the love I have for those movies...
"i hurt her aunt may.......i dont know what to do"
literally me in this situation. trying to fight battles on my own without realizing the damage
thank you aunt may
You are not alone man, we all mess up big time!
But stay strong and learn from it, even if it hurts like hell. God bless!
Grandma took me to see this in theaters when it came out back in the day. beautiful memories, very bittersweet. thanks for uploading!
The best females of Raimi trilogy who I consider are: Aunt May, Ursula and of course Jameson's secretary as they are like Peter's moral support.
An amazing scene..that I always tear up.
Just a fantastic reminder, a road for redemption is to forgive yourself.
If you can't forgive yourself, how can anyone forgive you.
Wish Tobey Maguire was still Spider-Man. Todays Spider-man is making me hate Spider-man. And hes my favorite hero. TOBEY! DON'T LEAVE US AGAIN!

One of my favorite scenes in the Trilogy
The acting,music,direction just beautiful
Aunt May really did a great job molding Tobey’s Peter into the man we see in NWH, & I appreciate how much the lessons of forgiveness & believing others can be redeemed played a huge role in both SM3 & NWH.
This will always be the real Aunt May. The OG. She's the wise old woman that shines a light on what a Hero is supposed to be
This line means so much to me. It’s perfect, more reasons why I love the raimi trilogy.
Said a hurtful thing to a friend a month ago. Thinking the whole thing through I eventually thought of this scene. More relatable than it ever has been. I will forgive myself and go back to her
Although it was silly and the weakest film in the trilogy there was still really great emotional scenes like this
I remember seeing this in theatres. Crazy how much I love these type of scenes. When I was young I didn’t care about them or I would skip pass them.
Same
That's why this trilogy has aged well. Forget about the dated special effects in the first movie, the emotional depth is more important and Raimi's films have it in abundance.
Compare them the avengers ones and it's like men and boys stuff.
1:28
I love this theme.
Peter is a genius, but he still needs the wisdom of Aunt May.
Some say the third part of the Trilogy couldnt live up to the First two. But now I got older and I find myself in so many things the Movies teached us: the First is: With great power comes great responsibility - often we wanna lean on our Power and get overhyped. We need to stay down to Earth.
The second Movie is about anyone can be a Hero (When Peter lost is Spidersenses)
The third is about forgivness - No matter what you do- your Friends will stay to you true
Thank you rosemary harris for the years of entertainment and love you gave to this world, your a type of person sorely missed these days, a great one
I feel bad for people who can’t enjoy and hate this film
Is very stressful to watch is jsura bout revenge
She reminds me of the best person in my life which is my grandmother who has taught me the best lessons in life this aunt may and my gran will always be my aunt may
Id be lying if I said watching these 3 movies growing up didnt influence my moral compass for the better.
This is why this film is my favorite of the trilogy because Peter makes mistakes that ruins his relationships and after this Scene he wants to make things right
You can really see Peter’s heart breaking when Aunt May asks how Mary Jane is and if he proposed to her. 💔💔💔💔
When she said forgive yourself, I cried
Same here.. I'm just unable 2 understand what to do😢
Aunt May ambiguously knew that Peter was Spiderman and loved him enough tp guide him on his journey and instill faith and teaching. A true parent she was.
I had a feeling that she knows that peter is spiderman
