Totally agree that this is one of the nicest cabins flying in the skies today and it looks (and feels) even better in person compared to on screen. If my memory doesn't fail me, the other two airlines that I know of that have elevator music in their lavatories are EVA Air (on their 787-10s) and SQ (on their A350s at least).
10:07 I think that sentence is loosely translated as could all passengers please give your attention to the safety demonstration (although it's too fast, I can't quite translate it word for word).

Was so close to tasting (some) good food and the warm hospitality 😊 I actually pre-ordered a special meal of Indian food just in case the main food tray isn't to my liking...will keep in mind to order the Asian meal when travelling with an Asian airline 😄 Oh, I was also very impressed with the (Taiwanese) staff from the Ticketing Office here in SG as she helped me with the cancellation. She reminded me that I can also request to get a refund for the the seat selections as well which I presumed would be forfeited like another major airline here would have done. Kudos to them!

Hello Ryan, thanks for starting a new travel series. For myself I rate the 'best' Y class in terms of aircraft type and seating layout. Therefore my votes would go to JAL with its 2-4-2 configuration, SIA with 3-3-3 on its 777-300ERs or one of the A380 operators who places Y class on the Upper Deck. As an aside ... you may remember those previous discussions regarding Air NZ axing Auckland-London. Well the news in the UK is that Air NZ is considering a return to London ! It applied for LHR slots but, as expected, LHR was full. So Air NZ has been given LGW slots to launch in May 2025. However Air NZ is not guaranteed to launch flights in 2025 but clearly management wouldn't waste time accepting slots if Air NZ had no intention of starting a route.

    • @ryansofly

@@ryansofly Yes the media in Europe have reported on the LGW slots for Air NZ. The latter does not deny these reports. What *might* delay Air NZ restarting London is the engine issues with some of its fleet which mean Air NZ won't have sufficient aircraft. We shall have to await developments.
