These sleeping pods are perfect for a long layover. They resemble Japan's capsule hotels, but are much better, because they have doors and windows, and you can even have your meals delivered to your sleeping pod. It is almost like a room in a business hotel. If every airport in the world has sleeping pods like that, I wouldn't mind long layover at all.

An outgrowth and improvement from the existing Japanese capsule hotel concept, but with a twist of added tech from space, massage chairs and civil aircrafts

I stayed in one of these rooms late last year as I had pretty long layover at this airport and my wife and I were very exhausted. We tried the free lounge chairs at first, but I couldn't seem to fall to sleep so we decided to stay in a room. The airport, sleep pods, and all the various places I visited in China were wonderful.

Not really , I think it's meant to deceive travelers. No air conditioning, no bathroom, no shower. If you use Didi (China's version of uber), go to the nearest town,It only takes 12 minutes and costs 23 yuan. In the town, there are a lot of good hotels, the cost of accommodation is not more than 300

@@shenyun7195 It's a place for really exhausted travelers to crash
There are times travel gets so tiresome one might just feel like dying, so your didi, then hotel suggestion, although it's reasonable, for really flat-out wanna die already travelers, a place where one can just crash for couple of hours, kind of like re-charging time for the body, is essential

I think you're using the same video in different platforms in both Chinese and English. If you decide to post this in RUclips and have the title and description in English, it would help if you explain things in English with subtitles on the video because your are targeting this to foreigners and they might have no clue what you're doing in the video or how to do that as a foreign which might not be able to use Alipay, takeout ording apps, whatever that piece of map thing, etc. Why am I making a comment in English? It's because there are others who are using English

Wow, you must live under a rock - that fan is produced and marketed towards Chinese consumer (if you actually learn the Chinese characters written beside it, you would know how to pronounce it). 🙄 IKEA furnitures also have names in Swedish, you need help pronouncing those too? If you actually use a tiny portion of your brain, things like this can be easily resolved with googling the pronouncing of the names (shows your ignorance and stupidity). Since this is the CAPITAL of China (Beijing), the airport is obviously flashy and high tech (every country is like this) - compared to Singapore, this airport isn’t even that flashy at all. I have been to plenty of low to high end hotels in Europe and Asia, some of them do have electric fans (not everywhere will have AC) and they do not require much voltage to power them (hence no fire hazard issue). As for the ventilation not having cold air - learn the difference between air ventilation system and AC 🙄 It’s pretty obviously that it’s a central ventilation system, not an AC. Before criticizing others, get educated - your IQ prefers to “crawl” not run (the irony indeed).
