How to increase bond levels in Yakuza: Like a Dragon

- This is a Yakuza: Like a Dragon bond level guide. This tutorial explains how to increase bond level once it caps, and some tips and tricks for leveling up bond quickly.
First off, to unlock the next bond level you have to go to the Survive bar, on the western side of Isezaki Ijincho, across the river. When you enter this building all your party members will be sitting around. If one of them is ready for a bond level up then when you talk to them it will start a massive lore dump. This is also an opportunity to get personality experience for Ichiban. Also it's worth noting you can skip these cutscenes.
After the conversation is over, whoever you were speaking to will unlock the next bond level. Then you can go back to farming bond experience until they get capped for the next level.
It's important to level up bond if you want to unlock all the jobs for each character.
There's a really good cheat for bond level experience in Yakuza: Like a Dragon. You can go to any restaurant and buy a custom order. Order the cheapest thing on the menu and confirm you order. Every time you do this everyone in the party will get 10 bond experience. You can repeat this as many times as you like until their bond level is capped, then you head back to the survive bar and level them up again.

You can actually just buy Bonsai and Bouquets of flowers from the truck in the Northern section of East Hamakita Park and gift them to your party but only while inside the Survive Bar.
You can also skip the gift giving conversation with the pause menu to grind bonds really really fast.
It's 25 points for their favorite flower and 5-10 for others. Everyone's favorite +25 in the game:
Adachi: Bonsai
Nanba: Bouquet Of Pansies
Saeko: Bouquet of Roses
Joon-Gi Han: Bouquet of Lillies
Tianyou Zhao: Bonsai
Eri cannot receive gifts because she's tied to company management and combat only.

I think you were going to mention it but forgott to, the second reason to level bonds is that you unlock a special attack at level 5. Basically like Kasugas ultimate move (whatever the english name is). Thanks for giving me a nice method on how to level fast i mainly clicked on here because i had Aoki and Sa chan at level 5 and that mf Nanba was still at 2 for some reason 🤷♂️ idk why he wouldnt gain any extra points..

How'd you waering your job costumes outside of battle?
Once you beat the game you can do premium adventure mode where you continue your game after the final stuff. From that point on you can equip job costumes outside of battle.
