- In this video, I am going to give a guide on everything you need to know about forging weapons and armor in Roman Factory. So, if you are curious about something in specific like where to find rare materials, be sure to hop to the specific time in the video.
0:00 Intro
0:26 How to craft and upgrade weapons & gear
3:11 Finding Crafting Materials
7:01 Crafting Kiwami Weapons
The roman factory has a total of 4 different levels that will enable you to craft better weapons and gear. You start at level 1 and to upgrade each level you need to invest a specific amount of money.
For level 2 - 200,000 yen
Level 3 - 2,000,000 yen
And finally level 4 -20,000,000 yen
To farm money for every level I suggest that you tackle the company minigame for which I have a very easy to follow guide here in the youtube card on the top right corner or in the description and comment section of this video.
Now let's take a look at creating and upgrading weapons. As you unlock new levels in the Roman Factory and new jobs in the Haruwaku Office you will be able to create new gear and weapons from scratch using these two menus.
The menu will display on the top all of your allies' jobs on the top, along with an "ALL" and Others option. Cycling through each one of those with the L1 and R1 buttons you will be able to see which weapons you can craft for each specific job.
On the right you will see the description of the weapon, its stats, who can wield the weapon, what job does it belongs to and if there are any special effects or status that it has in battle. If you have a stronger weapon or weaker weapon equipped at the moment, you can see how this will affect your character stats or press the R2 button for a full breakdown on each stat. On the bottom left corner, you will see the necessary materials, the roman factory level and the money required to create the weapon. The same thing applies when creating pieces of gear and upgrading weapons, with the only exception that the weapon that you are seeing in the right will be the result of the upgrade of the weapon selected on the menu on the left.
Now let's get to the messy part of crafting: where to find upgrade materials. Many of these will drop after each fight that you engage in, but I am going to talk about where you can buy them on the map.
On the lower part of the map, in the Welcome Drug Store, you can buy Attack Zero and Cetamin Super X adhesives.
At the very top of the map, in the Yokohama Park area, in this aqua truck next to Dragon Kart you can buy all kinds of rarities of wood, cloth, wire, iron, nails, lead, steel, glass, plastic, aluminum, tungsten, pelt, and leather.
On the grass of Yokohama Park, you can find all kinds of normal random bugs and on rare occasions silver and gold ones. Normal bugs can be bought in the can survival minigame shop by 8000 points each, Silver bugs can be bought in two different places. Moths, butterflies, spiders, and scorpions with the yakuza secret vendor in this part of the map, Silver Mantis, dragonflies, stag beetles and rhinoceros beetles can be bought in the Shogi minigame shop by 3000 points each.
Golden bugs can be obtained as additional rewards in the first 10 floors of the Arena which is open for you after you get to chapter 12.
High-Density Heavy Metal is rewarded in Floor 11
Silver Bar in Floor 12
Gold Bar in Floor 13
Pearl in Floor 14
Platinum Ore in Floor 16
Rubi Ore in Floor 17
Sapphire Ore in Floor 18
Diamond Ore in Floor 19
Empty Can of Asada Candy in Floors 21, 23, 25 and 27
There are some special kiwami weapons which are the pinnacle weapons for each job that require you to have a specific weapon to do the upgrade. The vast majority of these weapons used for upgrading to kiwami weapons can be found as top rewards in the different minigames in Ijincho and the Sotenbori Arena. Or, if you have a TONNN of money, and I'm talking about 10 million yen each, you can buy each and every one of them in La Marche in Kamurocho.
Mafia Job in the 5th floor of the Sotenbori Arena
Hitman and the Chef Job in the 10th floor
Bar Owner Job and the Host Job in the 15th floor
Street Musician and the Detective in the 20th floor
Dancer in the 22nd floor
Idol Job in the 24th floor
Homeless Job in the 25th floor
Night Queen Job in the 26th floor
Hero Job in the 30th floor
Dealer Job as a top reward in the secret casino in the Chinatown bathroom
F Riot Control Job as a top reward in the Shogi Minigame
For the Fortune Teller as a top reward with the Yakuza secret minigame.
For the Hostess Job as a top reward in the Can Survival Minigame
For the Bouncer Job with Kamuro the Mascot inside the Blue Marino near Yokohama Park.
For the Demon and Elder Sister you only need crafting materials
For the Clerk and demolition worker I never managed to find them other than in Le Marche,

Best guide. Straight to the point. No bullshit or unnecessary talk. Thank you.
this is very informative definitely an amazing guide thank u so much !! :D
The Foreman EX Hammer (Starcrusher) can be bought from the Batting Center for 30,000 points.
The Clerk EX Knife (Ceramic Knife) is earned from Hiro when you become an Executive Hero (300 points). In the English version of the game, the Ceramic Knife cannot be bought from Le Marche.
Iuni hammer is the best weapon for Foreman just saying, Rusted hammer which you get from the batting center upgrades into inui hammer
Also
High frequency ruler is the best clerk weapon, upgrades from anti corrosion box cutter which you get from the gambling hall
@@reversegiraffe3976 What's the best weapon for Hero?
Thanks but do you know where to get joon gi Hans base weapon so I can upgrade it
@@pixytorres7117 probably the Hero's Bat you get at the start, I've only got halfway through the game but from what I've heard the starter bat upgrades into Ichiban's best weapon
@@Subpar1O1 yea I have upgraded it to max level, not only Ichiban but his companions too. Looks like the starter weapons are the best ones in the end.

Thanks for subscribing and your kind words :)
Thanks this helped a lot! I never knew there was a secret shop
Thanks for the guide i was searching for the craft materials
This is genuinely super helpful. Thank you for making this, and anyone who is reading this can count on this guy. He gives reliable and useful information. On top of that he's very conscious about spoilers. So you don't have to worry about exposure to parts of the game you don't want to see.
Glad you found this helpful :D!! And thanks for vouching for me :)
@@AbyxGaming Thank you for making it, and you're welcome. I would be clueless if you didn't post your guides.
Damn this really helped big thanks man
I'm thinking about replaying this and I'm going to use your guide thanks.
Terrific guide.
Seriously helpful!
I found a silver ingot in Hamakita Park on the far right on the twin stairs. I'm sure there are others hidden on the map as well not just in the arena
Thank you for the helpful video
Thanks for making these guides.
Thanks for info
thank you so much man
Thank you man
This was a great guide, thanks man👏
Thank you good sir
FOR THE RECORD, for people who are trying to get all these weapons from the Minigames/Gambling Halls/Kamulopp/Battle Arena, you CAN BUY THEM (as in the video here) from Le Marche in Kamurocho. BUT, you need to have at least SEEN the weapons in the respective inventories of each. For the Weapons in Sottenbori's Battle Arena, you really have no choice in the matter: You HAVE to get them as your rewards for each fight one way or another in the Battle Arena, which honestly can be pretty trivial if you wait until later in the game with high enough levels and AoE attacks

*coughcoughcoughcough*
Thanks man... You are awesome 👍
helped a lot thank you for the in depth videos for the western players
Thanks I was having trouble getting high quality leather to be able to craft heroic soul bat 2 I had the materials to make the legendary hero bat but didn’t have the materials to make heroic soul bat 2 so thank you
For anyone struggling with money :
Grind final millennium tower, craft gold crown first ( material are from floor 1-4 arena) then buy sengoku cofee ( red vending machine near arena or anywhere else) equip crown for every single party member, use sengoku when fighting bosses, easy 80 million per 30 minutes, or 12 million/4 minutes from speedrunning first boss then quit
Ex is max at +9 or Ex Ex
Or just gamble and buy platinum plates for 2,000 chips/wooden sticks which can be done long before you get to the Millenium Tower.

And thanks for the guide I love it!
The grind for each kiwami weapon is so fucking exhausting, ended up using a trainer to get all the mats and money and I have no regrets lol
Do you know where to find the romance gear in the romance shop? It doesn’t appear on my list of armor items even at rank 4 workshop.
Hello I’ve been watching your videos for awhile and they’re very helpful but do you know where I can find cockroaches?need em to upgrade weapons so I been looking everywhere and I can’t find em :(
You can buy them in the can survival challenge
Have you looked under your fridge? :P
@@Rajin90 bro this actually made me laugh 😂
In other words, each character has a basic weapon. If you upgrade it to the last EX upgrade, it will be the ultimate weapon for that character.
Negative
Hero is the only job whose base weapon upgrades into his strongest weapon (Legendary hero bat)
Chef for example gets his best weapon from upgrading wooden flipper which turns into Burning heat turner
@@reversegiraffe3976 thanks didn't know that
@@jr1364 they also require a specific weapon to upgrade to EX which are obtained in various places but can all be bought in Kam. if your too lazy to grind

I found the boxcuter in the sowre next to the cab on tsurukame bridge you need some gold keys and the hammer is a the bating games next to a hero HQ you need 1000 to get it.
roman factory sounds a lot cooler than romance factory lol
Is there any Limit for weapon upgrades? For example i have a Soulbat of the legendary Hero EX +5 with 281 Attack and there seems to be no end upgrading it
( meanwhile each upgrade costs 8million yen )
+9 or Ex Ex , i think the cost is 20 million
Thanks for blurring out extra party members!!
Is the Cotton Pouch how you get the female host kiwami weapon I can't find it nowhere does anyone know were it is? Or how to get it please
how do we unlock the part at 5:03 ? i NEED tungsten and high density metal + others so bad :(
You gotta talk to some guys that are blocking the gate and I’m pretty sure your charisma needs to be above 3
Will you be covering the extra shop that comes with the new DLC on April 9th?
Perhaps I will do an impressions video but not sure if it will be on release date, because FF7 comes out the next day.
But perhaps I will!
I fully upgraded the workshop but i dont see the ultimate weapons. How do i get the recipies
I like your voice, it's soothing
Thanks :D

I went into that bathroom and came right back out. Dang.
How come the bat got the hero is not on the list? I see everything else but the bat?
Can some explain hwo to get the fusion weapon frome eri for 10million Yen in le mache i dont have it

I need the basic weapon to upgrade for the korean guy. I'm searching in the entire game but i'm clueless, i cant find the only weapon u can upgrade for han joon gi
if u can help me, i'm searching it since a very long time, thanks :)
Go to the casino that's underneath the restroom that the guy is guarding until you have a high style trait. it's 500 chips for that particular set of gloves so it's not like you have to grind for it. hope this helps dude
What is the english name of the detective weapon base material?
hey man, great video, but i was wondering where you got that weapon for nanba as a homeless from (11:26)
Hey Bibari, that is the fully upgraded kiwami weapon for the homeless.

Soy_La_Tech Appreciate the response. I completed all 30 floors but I guess I missed it, thanks for letting me know though.
Nothing shows up for me in strengthening weapon, I bought all upgrades for the shop
5:05 .. this place is closed to me!! What should I do to open it?(the door I mean)
Omg this is all so complicated. I assume we go back to Kamurocho at the end? I aint going to play all those mini games, so imma just buy the weapons instead.
It’s not complicated at all
Where can I get the glaive saeko was carrying
I need to know where and what is the name of the crafting warehouse.
Excuse me, but some of the weapons were not in la March. Is it normal?
but some categories of weapons cannot be upgraded?
Hey man, do you know what the maximum Hero Bat EX is, I'm currently on Hero bat EX +5 and its driving me crazy lol (oh it can be upgraded further, go and grind the arena and sell the optional rewards to get the 12 Million, 500000 Yen)
I don't actually know LOL.
The DLC for the japanese version of the game added a lot more levels so I'm not sure.
@@AbyxGaming OK Thanks, i appreciate the reply. i had to grind to upgrade the Hero Bat for ages to beat a certain someone in Chapter 12, they were flipping tough with Turn Based combat 😊
@@James-gj8rn i just buffed myself, debuffed the enemy, used rev items and spammed the ultimate abilities. It was incredibly scuffed but i got it done
nice video, but you know where I can craft a weapon to the devil rocker job?
Yes. You need to access the hidden river section by passing a big buffed dude near the intersection of the main river road and the one that leads to the snack bar. You need 5 of one stat. After that, you will find a vendor down there where you can buy the guitar from.
@@AbyxGaming man, thanks, this help me so much

I think for the boss lady you should take a look in the red district area, near the soapland there is a parking lot and a small store, perhaps there.
And for the demon I am pretty sure that is with the guy beneath the bridge, but he only appears after you start the quest for the girl in the bar. You need 6 in you Sun Icon stat.
Yep, it's there but you need to do first mission 36. Thanks. That mission starts in the bar where you meet
