I never used funding at all. I cheesed my way to number 1. I got to number one really because of 1 unit that hit hard. I did it before chapter 6. My main problem is finding what properties will give more money with less upkeep.

Note taking loan is double edge sword. You may get the benefits or you might made a huge mistakes. Lowest loan you can take is from bank with interest 5%. Compare to other loan lenders bank has the lowest interest. You can take loan 5million. But wait, because of the interest you had to pay 500k every time you run the business for 10 rounds. Best way to get benefit, just take loan once which was at the beginning. I highly recommend upgrading your first store as fast as you can. If you ran out of money to spend on upgrade, try to upgrade your existing staffs. But don't over do it for staffs as you increased salary as well. I recommend to do this ONCE. After that try to avoid to take loans. It is not worth it. For those who had dlcs which allows you to hired Ultra Rare. DON'T hire them at beginning. It is goo once you had high stable profits. As long you haven't reach the rank 100 just focusing on existing property and staffs. If you can get staffs that is better as well as low salary you can hire and replaced the existing. But not recommended it. Preferably after you reach rank 100.

The best way is the battle arena I was only level fifty now I'm 67 u get a million guaranteed wave 29 every time and u get a lot of exp levels a way better weapons for ur team as rewards there and leveling is pretty quick faster than everything else I have 13 million now it's the only best way problem with his idea ur money can't b used and I can't figure out how to get millions for this for buissness money
Now I'm level 99 after chapter 14 ull b back in kamuroucho and the theater district gives u way more exp for vagabond and there more of them underneath theater district

check which employees you have assigned... sometimes you assign full time employees, so they cost a lot of money, and the business could do with a part-timer which is only 30k.

This business garbage is the most annoying thing in the whole yakuza games,first they made it so complicated that no one can understand a thing. Second it doesn't fit to the franchise or the story and not annoying enough, if the kappa's wouldn't exist, you would be forced to torture yourself with that unnecessary crap. I really hope they learn about this mistake and they dont bring that on yakuza 8. Without that garbage, it would be perfect.

If you're going to borrow any money then borrow it off a bank as it's only 5% interest. The reason why you're making no money is because all your profit is going to paying off the loan shark whose interest is 100%
Forcing you to earn 3 millions near the game climax is such a questionable design, not everybody wants to play mini games. I put the game on hold for a few weeks when I reach this chapter.
This game skipped so many tutorials which it should have provided in the first place, specially firing & recruiting employees for property loss managing rules.
Well its a good way of earning yen but by the time you reach the stage where you farm 100million yen for the best weapon for each character that will took ages so farming 700million yen for all character's end game "EX EX" weapon is a pain in the arse

This minigame is useful if you want to make cash, but it's also unbelievably stupid. I'm thinking especially of the shareholder meetings when I say this. I mean........WTF? You can be running your business into the ground and waste untold numbers of resources, and when your investors are rightfully giving you an earful of "What the hell are you DOING, you incompetent piece of Musk??", then all you need to do is say: "I'm not an incompetent piece of Musk!". And if they get even angrier because of this......just apologize! And everything will work out for the better! Hell, if you apologize well enough, they'll even give you MORE money! Dear lord. 🤪
This is not fastest money not Evan close and you can get alot of exp getting better money so it's not werth it besides getting to rank 1 for laser otherwise don't do this

I think the DLC is a wast, but buy it just to get the characters. Once in rank 1, everything is easy and repetitive in the minigame.
