All you have to do is go to the second level of the Kamarucho dungeon, the third fight in has a level 50 vagabond, in new game plug it gives 450k exp and if you have the 2x multiplayer you get around 900k. I was gaining almost 2 level each time I fought at level 66. Just run back to the entrance and they respawn. Can do a run every 3 minutes or so.

If I remember correctly, as soon as you get to meet namba (ch. 3) you will get that soft cap. Then... something happens somewhere before chapter 6, and after that, you can level up again.
short version play however you want until chapter 12 spoiler get xp modifier items use battle arena to level 50 play until chapter 15 use the kamoroucho dungeon lvl to 99/99 then flatten everything until spoiler the last true after story super dungeon
I do love how the party members when looking at the stats screen is blurred for spoilers, but when showing equipment all of them are visible on the side so you can see who's in the party towards the end levels xD

another way to get a bunch of XP is to participate in the Sotenbori arena. if you started a job and beat some dudes it’ll get you to maybe about level 9.
Dragonfish is the tattoo on his back. Later on, once you unlock the "Demolish" Skill, you can find/buy permanent items in various locations that give specific jobs 1.5 EXP instead to level up 2nd, 3rd jobs faster.
Is it best to just stick to 1 main job, then maybe rank up a couple other Jobs just for their 1st (or 2nd) Permanent Character Skills? Or should I rank up multiple jobs on a character to 20+? Some sort of mix or situational based on how I wanna build my party? etc

Hey man! You need to get an accessory, a bullet. There is one available in the last chapter, once you reach **spoilery location** It is inside one of the golden safes. I don't remember exactly where to get other bullet in Yokohama, but I am 100% sure of the one in the other location. It is in one of my video guides with safe locations. Check it out!
Could you tell me which chapter will all sub stories unlocked? I prefer to finish everything before finish the main story and rather set main story aside then go full adventure. I also usually save mini games for later too as I want to recruit all people on the streets before get into it.
i really suggest doing the minigame before you are at the part of the story where you lose one of your party members, because you get a party member from the minigame that helps
You have to get ingredients, which you need to plant. You can buy seeds in one of the food trucks in Yokohama Park. Then you go outside of the Survival Bar (karaoke spot) and use the pots to plant your stuff. Once you have what you need, go and speak with the guy inside the bar and he will have meals that you can prepare.

For the combo you have to discover it yourself, the game won’t tell ya. Once you habrá enough money, try buying all menu at the same time and you will unlock it.
Is there Hero multiplier item ? or you have to get it up the hard way ? Also the freelancer job for ichiban also has no weapons right ? And where are the best area to get cockroaches ? can collections ?

Don't worry, all that work is for absolutely nothing as you'll soon find out when you get to the end. The enemy can still wipe out all your health in a single turn, no matter what your stats are and when you attack them, you'll barely remove any of their health, no matter what your stats are.
considering purchasing this game. love rpgs with turn based combat, or I used too back in the day. nowadays many seem so low production and high school simulator. I prefer dragons etc. huge FF fan. this game looks great, would be perfect with a different skin, more like medieval or something, haha. think id like the game?:o

I just wish that yakuza training gear wasn't such a drag to obtain. Even with the bat it seems so slow to get (assuming you will get it for multiple party members).
yeah this game is just bloated with bad game design decisions. this is the worst Yakuza game in the entire series. people complain about dead Souls being monotonous but dead Souls is amazingly fun compared to like a dragon. like a dragon is the only Yakuza game that I like less and less the more hours that I've put into it. it hurts me to do so because I love this franchise so much but I'm probably just going to quit this game without finishing the story
Yeah, my one thing I don't like about this system is that if Ichiban gets KO, it's game over. Anyone else can get KO and revive, but not Ichiban. Pretty dumb, but it's still a great game.

But, I also have stopped playing because life got in the way and I didn't feel like grinding 10 levels to get up to same level of the next hard boss. Maybe I'll finish it someday.

About the job magazine, I think you made a mistake: you said to keep the magazine for the last five ranks, which is correct, but then you said 25 to 30. I think you meant 94 to 99, right? Or was there an update which made the job ranks go to 99 and at the time this video was posted, jobs only had 30 levels?
That was added in the western release but yeah it boosts xp too and i think it doesn't stack with restaurant bonus so its only worth it when you run out of that bonus but you have to use it on a given turn so its not always viable

Gang up on him .use saekos twirling microphone attack , hitmans rapid shot , nanbas fire breath /pigeon, dancers multiple hit moves etc . ( Rapid shot is the best )
Please put your game menu in English, we don't understand Chinese/Japanese when you choose which attack to use, or when we want to see your amount of money etc. Even if it wasn't necessary, "presentation-wise", it would be better for us viewers, try to be in our shoes and you will see.
TL DR, yes, I will for future games :) The thing back then was that, as a smaller content creator, I need to sometimes scavange for views, and playing the game half a year before most of the content creators helped me play thoroughly and do these guides at my own pace. But now that RGG Studio has announced that ALL future games will be released simultaneously worldwide, all future guides will be with English UI, for sure.
There's an accessory in the map you go to in Chapter 15 that gives Ichiban bonus xp for all jobs. Would tell you where but don't want to spoil anything.

it also use electric element and paired with kiwami mouthguard (reduce mp usage), and you could use twice before refill the mp

Glad to help! For Nanba, there is a friendship lock tied to story progress, but the game will tell you about it. Take that into consideration!

I would suggest a mix. Try to keep it balanced and always have a healer in the party.

Correct! The previous max was 30. With the DLC, they go up to 99 :)

Also I have saeko as an idol her second attack skill hits multiple times. Helps a lot with the multiple hits as well. Also she is a really good healer
