To all the commenters complaining about his gear: The gear is not why the video is good. You could just as easily do this with a phone and a lamp as your light. Most phones now support 60 or 120fps so you still have slow motion. Use one of those cheap adapters to mount your phone on a tripod, or even build a rig with some cardboard and tape or legos. Get creative if you have to. "In his dining room" means using his existing gear and nothing fancy like sliders or motion control or stuff he would rent. Using just lights and a camera. Anyone could temporarily adjust their dining room to work for a video if they needed to. He's just using a table and a backdrop. You could use a blanket or a tablecloth or a curtain and hang it on a PVC stand you make, or even just leave the existing curtain on the curtain rod. Or scoot some furniture aside and have a solid colored wall as your backdrop. A lamp with a lampshade is a fantastic "softbox" like light-source. Just turn off your ceiling lights and use one or 2 lamps and you have a cool stylistic look. The point is, this video is showing some techniques for getting shots like this. He's showing how he took 3 shots and merged them together to get the cereal flying shot. Then some stop motion (which is easy with any camera/phone) for the intro shot. It's all stuff that you can do with any gear, and he never shows anything that can ONLY be done on his expensive gear. So stop being bitter that you can't afford the expensive gear they have, and instead learn what you're SUPPOSED to learn from videos like this, which is the various techniques for creating epic videos with any gear.
