95% of people don’t understand how much work goes into getting even a quick, “simple” shot like this.
Belive me i do,because im a teen model/actor
I'm a photographer and architect, must of the time I got hired for hotels and selling pages and yes, I know the pain of doing a single shot
@@_mialeea_ send pics lmao
OooOoh a gatekeeper. How rare
Especially us, 3d artists 😊
Little bit of water in the cans would have helped with stability being such a lightweight item
JBA512 Water would may shake the cans because it isn’t static
@@kgproductions5602 so i guess sand/dirt would be better?
And cloth instead of paper
dident they put holes in the can?
Sand... definitely sand
Watching you guys engineer this was highly entertaining, great video bro!
Thanks dude!! I’m glad you liked it 👏
i read this in your voice....lol
Lol 😂
Daniel Schiffer yo Danial man... I am a huge fan!!! Awesome Work!!!
Both of videography master is here.
You should have sprayed glycerin on the cans to make them look cold.
I thought he was going to do this!!!!
yea same thought i had
Wow
was going to comment the same
Imma pretended I understand what ur saying so...
Yeah I think that to
Love that you're doing more of a vlog style in your videos man.
The amount of work to get shots like these is sick and both Your's and Steve's creativity is off the charts for sure!
I wish i had the patience myself haha!
U both are my inspiration guys.🤙
You all are legends
I agree with this, the vlog style makes me feel like I'm there watching at the location, if that makes sense! It makes it more engaging and fun to watch!
Please do B-roll battle with him!
Why isn't there are a tick mark?
Daniel: You dont need any special equipment
Also Daniel: "ok so we've got the aperture 300 D mark 2 on the overhead stand with a striplight diffuser"
Just because they got it, doesn't mean you need it
Lol so true
With a 500$ Edelkrone slider and 1400$ probe lens. Nothing fancy
What was he suppose to use
Steve Giralt used an iPhone in the original video. Stop finding excuses, use a table lamp if you can't find a diffuser.
Dude this was such a fun video to watch.
👍👍👍
Yeah he is always amazing 😍 do watch my very first video on RUclips and share your precious feedback
ruclips.net/video/-WPbvA5JCWE/видео.html
Bro can u explain why there are different shades of circles in the back , during 10:10
Guys. You missed a great opportunity. Should've sprayed the cans with a little water, to get that "freshness". Also I think white background would also make it better. Would make the coke stand more by itself.
Tord Fuglstad that’s why I made you guys a video with water droplets for you.... ruclips.net/video/3ejAq45h3wE/видео.html
Need to be water with glycerol.
but i thought coke tried to make everything less white.
That is nuts, really encourages you to think outside of the box more
aaaaaa chú phúc mập nè
helloo chú, have a good day :3

Ya he is amazing, do watch my very first video and give your precious feedback
ruclips.net/video/-WPbvA5JCWE/видео.html
The cans need a bit more weight in them so they dont "jump" while getting pulled. They "stutter" cuz each pull pulled them farther than the fishing line was pulling it so its kinda jumping
and cooking oil on the bottom of the cans.
Stutter is due to friction (solved with oil/flour/graphite), lack of inertia (weight) and I am sure the elasticity of the fishing line. Just my 2 cents. :-)
@@NiallMacpherson basically what i said. Weight would solve most of it
agree
turtle wax or furniture wax on the surface and the bottom of the can would help in the slide and would be invisible
Love this video - amazing how you share your process in such an entertaining and honest way. Taking notes. So engaging!
On top of that - love your humble and positive attitude man. So cool how you’re appreciating the people around you.
Love your vids man! Learning new things each time 🙌
FYI, physics major here- the stutter was due to not enough tension in the string to overcome the frictional force in the table. So extra, consistent force (like when you pushed it) overcomes it and it’s smooth. You could also have used a layer of cloth or something to reduce the coefficient of friction between the cans and the table, which would have lowered the force you need to use to overcome the force of friction. Interesting test!
They need only add some weight to cans
You don't need a major in physics to figure that out tho i think everyone here figured it out
@Guappe no just dont be a brain dead teen that thinks drugs are cool and you'll understand perfectly
Big brain
@@iimmyyyy the chances of you knowing that before you read it are lower than your grades. And that’s hard to beat. He didn’t major in physics to figure that out, but he has and so he may as well share his expertise.
This could have been done for a $0 budget with Blender. That being said, the creativity level was insane.
Awesome idea
How so?
$0 and about 20min
I was thinking exact same thing
But, where's the fun in that right?
5:37 in this scene i imagine
a horror movie came up
lol XD
XBendazor 😂👏🏾
Same!!
Im not going to like this comment cuz you have "69" likes
Love the constant shout outs. You are really leading the way in giving credit to everyone who inspires you and showing the community that everyone can win
well he is payed for the shout out... nothing is free

Holy crap this is so good! I've been waiting for something like this for so long!
This was an awesome remake, it was really similar to the original! And congrats on 800k!! Killing it!
These type of videos are AMAZING! Please keep doing them, enjoy them a lot!
Daniel, this is one of my favorite videos you done so far. I love watching you create and I learn a lot.
Congrats on 800k 🤯 keep up the awesome work! You've inspired me personally a lot on my channel to step up my game! 👍🔥
Cocacola: Wait a second, how have our sales gone up by 200%
Great time for stonks
Yeah I really could go for a fresh can of probe lens right now
This is what pure artistry and a genuine passion for your craft, looks like. I commend you sir!!
Daniel, you are so amazing at creating these videos! I loved to hear your thought process and how you broke down every step of the video. Great work 🙌🏼
Man, it’s just so much fun to watch your process. Awesome work, Daniel!
Thanks dude! Glad you liked it 🙏
This is what I call...
“INNOVATIVE” 🤯
🔥🔥🔥🔥 Work Daniel! 🙌🏼
Innovate? Idk...
What about this is innovative???
Dude, you are one of the most inspiring creators on RUclips. I truly appreciate you brother. You have already helped my video workflow so much and I am still catching up on all of your videos. You are a beast when it comes to video brother. Thank you truly my friend!
Wow! What an unreal practical effect. I had no idea how to even begin approaching something like this- thanks for breaking it down. 👍
Daniel:
- It's easy to say "if I had all this expensive gear"
Also Daniel:
- $27583*√472 probe lens
- $68e8 aputure lights
Yeah but the original one had iPhone
You can get a probe lens for $1100 used and godox lights instead of aputure lights. You could have a great lighting setup with a probe for under 2k -- that's very good when you look at the full spectrum of video and the expensive gear he was referencing that can run into the 6 figure range.
@@dna8269 Yes, especially without sound from the scene godox saves you a ton. I also got a nicefoto lightdome wich is almost as good as the lightdome 2 that every big youtuber seems to use. (i think it is only missing the gel slider). Plenty of options to get in the game with less money.
Instead coulda used glued magnets underneath each can and have a crew under the table. Another way woulda been just stopmotioning it.
I love your numbers
You’re the man mr Schiffer!!! I was totally inspired by you on the latest gyoza video on my channel and literally drew out the plan in advance. Didn’t quite hit your level but really appareciate the constant sharing of your approach 🙌🏼🙌🏼🙌🏼
A Life of Attraction gonna watch that now haha
Max Thurner let us know what you think!!!
Loved the video man!
Papii Chuloo thank you so much dude!!!
@@ALifeofAttraction I was about to make muffins and now im tempted to make a video out of it 😂. Only problem is I'm a one man team so its gonna be hard trying to get the shots I want haha.
Excellent work as always and that final video with the CC logo is perfection! Almost to 1m bro! Leggggooooo
Dope 🔥 Congrats on your hard work here on the channel bro!
As a engineer I can appreciate the effort, time & tenacity required. Probably silicon spray surfaces would help further. 👍
The legend is action again! 🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥
Daniel I love your desire to always learn and try new stuff!
Thank you for work ethic and creativity of yours and Steve’s!
DUDE...Daniel. You nailed it! Nice work and engineering to show us how to get similar shots without super crazy equipment, goes to show a little hard work and thinking can take you further than most gear ever can! Thanks for sharing, keep it up!
800K 🔥🔥 Congratulations Daniel, you're hard work has paid off!! This is my goal too, I'll hit that 800K if it's the last thing I do 🤜🏻💥🤛🏻
This was dope I need to put my creative cap on 🧢
Daniel, you are quickly becoming my favorite vlogger, I think mainly due to your BTS approach on some of your work. Love it! keep it up!
Super cool mate! I cracked laughing when you pulled the first attempt! You guys really managed to make it work. Well done!
Imagine how awesome it'd if the video was sponsored by Coca Cola
Can someone tell him we I'll go to toilet when the ad comes 😂
This is so fun and exciting! What one can accomplish with common household equipments, and creativity.
Almost 1M Daniel! Super stoked for you!! Love your vids ❤️🏴☠️🇨🇦
2:50. “We’re going to use a measuring tape, because that’s how you measure things”. Lmbo. Im Laughing with you not at you! 😂👍🏼
We all have to start with out the cool filming tech, but that doesn't mean it can't be fun, or not look cool!! :-)
Good stuff man! :-)
daaaaamn daniel!!!! you've really stepped up your game in the last months, I'm impressed every 👏 single 👏time 👏!!!
Really enjoyed watching this and how you planned the shoot and the creative process. Inspiring! Keep up the great work. Always look forward to watching a new video from you!
I'm kinda disappointed you didn't think of watering down the bottles with ice or something so that it looks more appetizing.
Elliot Lovgren glycerin! that's what they use because it sticks onto things better, i think
@@Efficiencyts You are right! A mix of both
And he could've shot it with an underlit glass surface and fake ice, while the cans slid on a very thin layer of water...and sprayed down hero cans...next level.
I gave it a go (with water droplets) so don’t be disappointment ;) ruclips.net/video/3ejAq45h3wE/видео.html
To me, seems like the cans are too light when they get pulled, I would have tried to weigh them down with some sand.
Or just any liquid??
The liquid could move around and cause the can to stutter
Ciaran Lynch the liquid could make the can explode
@@iDopeyHD he litteraly nailed these cans
Love the final with everything added
This is awesome! Very very well done! The creativity is all in the engineering with this- you guys have it in spades!
"we're going to measure that using the measuring tape, because............."
"That's what you measure things with"
Daniel: So I gonna use only my creativity;
Also Daniel: Here we have Aputure 300D MK2.
btw nice video 👍
Хроники Лакеров ahhahaa I think the same lol! Should be better if he used that cake pan light and his phone to real be “using my creativity”. But the challenge was nice.
He had to use 300D to compensate for Laowa's Very high F stop of F14.
*I love it when you try to recreate a insane video like this one. Good job!*
Coca-Cola makes too much ads that people start making for them ads for free...😂
Looks so dope!😍🔥 maybe you could at some glycerin to the cans to give the feel of a fresh drink😉
This is just sick bro! Love the process and how you show what worked and didn’t. Very educating!
That's so slick! I never thought the movement could look that smooth but it does! Nice work Daniel.
I’ve never clicked so fast in my life
Same here dude
Whenever he uploads I click faster than I can blink
And smash that like button
8:50 😂gran error! La botella final tenía que haber girado hacia el otro lado para que la leyéramos correctamente! 😂 no se llama olaC-acoC! Se llama Coca-Cola! 😂😂😂😂
Excellent video it kept me engaged the entire time. I think I could pull it off but it would take me an entire day at least. Once again Great work!
So cool to see all the iterations and steps of your process!
Why you dont use magnets? 🤔
Cuz he wants duh
Because you can't move magnets simultaneously with your sliding movement?
Anyway it's just the idea, there are tons of ways to do it
He could havr used stopmotion but the idea was to make it this way
the cans were too light you just needed to fill them with sand or something so they didn't rattle around haha
Wow, your content has really become even more engaging and amazing (compared to a year ago) And it’s always been fantastic so . . . Keep killing it 🤷🏻♂️
What a creative way! Love to see it work well
Imagine doing all that and not being sponsored
Everyone: "Oh, it's a Coca-Cola commercial."
Talented film people: "Inspiring!"
You put a lot of hard work into making these videos, I can never regret subscribing to your channel it's one of the best on youtube when it comes to film making
The video in reference showed that you almost needed no special gear, but then your idea to fix the problems was more gear?
Two words "BLENDER 3D" is free, you welcome
This is so cool, watching you guys improving is just entertaining
Amazing content and final result. I believe Steve is also hyped how you took his idea on to the next level!
I am in school for digital media and audio production, and this really uplifted me and gave me ideas for my portfolio. Thank you again
The fact that you took the time to even attempt this is AWESOME!!
Man, that is so cool. Thanks for posting this. Inspiring.

I love it. This is my favorite video you’ve done.
i think i'm gonna try this but with only my phone and no motorized slider, really cheap version. Thanks for the lesson as always, Daniel!
You make these things look too easy. I love the creativity behind the whole thing.
That came out badass, didn’t think it would but dayumn, great job

Worked out great Daniel! Hats off!
this is so sick dude! love this style of video!!
WOW!!! I am not into doing videos. I am into photography pretty heavy, however, you guys blew me away with the way you figured this out and got it all set up. Great video!!!
