Using a record player for a photography motorized turntable is a great idea. A lot of the affordable photo motorized turntables are poorly made and don't last long.

This is so great! Your commercial looks like it was totally shot on a higher end camera! You have inspired me...Do you think you can get great results with the kit lens or a 50mm?
Yep, should be no problem! The only “problem” you’ll have with the kit lens is that you’ll need more light as it’s only f/3.5 wide open.

Perso tip: when working with clear artificial ice cubes, I like to mist them so they don't look dry :D
Great tip! I used real ice for my pirate rum commercial from a while back and it looks better but it was a pain in the ass to work with 😅 This is a great solution 🙏🏻

Shoot and rough edit in a day. Then the next day a few hours to finish the edit and do an extra shot.

Here’s a question for you: did you know you wanted to use that music for this particular video? Or do u edit to the music? Does make sense?
It’s an awesome video;and love the music choice for it.
Well, I edit the shots to the music but I also edit the music if that makes sense. I used a part of the beginning of the track and the end of the track. In this video, there’s a few seconds where the music stops but even if there wasn’t , you can always paste different parts of the music together.
I think if you shoot on 50 or 70 mm it will be better

Great Lesson!! All shot at 60fps?? Some seems to move at regular speed. Was that a 24fps timeline? Hard to tell what I'm looking at in regards to fps and timeline speed.
Yeah, except for the first shot everything shot in 60fps and slowed down to 40% on a 24 timeline.

Really cool Video! I‘m always surprised what you get out of this cam. I also use an m50. I have a question. Would you use an Audio recorder or Plug in the microphone directly. I have a rhode ntg-4 and i found it still very noisy...:-/
At the moment, I plug the mic directly. I’m not 100% satisfied with the result but I don’t have time nor money to look into that right now 😄

You mean it it should spray to the left? I was thinking that too but it looked better spraying into the empty space. It’s more visible on the blue background so I went with it 🤷🏻♂️ But I think you’re right 🙂

The colour grade on this is insane 😳 is it just water you spray the van with ? Or a mixture with glycerin?
Just water! You have to be careful and re-spray a few times for each shot but it works 👌🏻
@@JorisHermans thanks 🙏🏼 also I was wondering if you recommended a picture profile to shoot in? I shoot in s-log2 on my sonya7iii but sometimes for broll and low light shoots I get a lot of noise and banding. Even when the iso is 800 and exposed.

I’ve been struggling trying to key spinning objects on a turn table (like a can, for example) and removing the background completely. I can’t seem to get a clean key, so I’ve been rotoscoping the objects in fusion, frame by frame, and it’s driving me insane. There’s gotta be a way to mask/key/remove the background from these spinning objects, right? Any help or suggestions from anyone would be super appreciated!
Using a blue/green screen might help. 🤔
