I spend the majority of my spare time watching videos like this on youtube... how have I never found you. That was a great entertaining and educational piece of content sir. Well done.
Haha my spinning throne. Love the sound of that. All hail the lazy susan King. Thank you, who would have thought you could take something quite boring and turn it into something a little more
Well I know about the lazy suzan BUUUUTTTT, yoh, you've done an awesome work explaining it all over again. Great voice. Great video. Great editing. Great everything. Hands down!!!!! New sub right here bro!!
I am doing this for a client soon and your video popped up. Thank you for the super simple 6 min video. Other youtubers make this so overly complicated for no reason. Thank you again my dude.
@@Rcmathis nothing on there yet as I promised to create a video for the guys who built it, but will certainly share it on my Instagram once done. Just takes more time than I imagined to make the space mine with art and furniture
@@JamesKellyStudio Yeah bro. Ive been doing a few product videos on my channel and i've been missing a turntable. This video was inspiring and very well made ;)
Thank you. I’ve seen a few of yours before and they are seriously good! A turntable is so good snd so simple just to add some extra interest and so cheap to get!
Hi, do you still recommend Aputure Amaran P60C or there is better and cheaper option now? and what is your oppinion about New rotolight neo 3. which one is better? Great video Thanks
Not only is this video incredibly shot, interesting, just a joy to behold all the way through - it's immensely helpful - I already have a spinning turntable but after watching this video I realised I'm only using it to 1% of its potential, thanks man, you've got a new fan (and subscriber).
This popped up, I clicked, I subscribed. Just over 1000 subs? I'm guessing that will go up quickly. Great video! I was just searching some motorized lazy Susan's and ended up watching the whole video. Big thumbs up!
Welcome aboard! The numbers have certainly started to creep up! Just wish I wasn't so busy with work as I want to create more on the channel. Thank you 👍
BTW, this triggered a crazy diff take. I was just making a semi manual detented lazy shushan (see Johnny English Reborn) so that I could get some really wild resolution...connecting with Premiere which previously was part of my day job ie editing and realise wih the high res, I can get some really tight macro capability ie @ 2 degrees per frame Greetz from Sydney
Dude, what an excellent style of tutorial. So engaging, interesting, and educational. One of the most interesting tutorials I've ever seen. You're very talented.
Oh my God! How do you only have 4k subs? It just isn't right! 😡you deserve so much better! This video took serious effort, time, and care to create! People are so blind! Thank you for such an exciting video. The music choice, knowledge, and composition of this video are all S rank! - Q
Thank you so much! I honestly didn't expect to reach 4k subs with my current content, so to me this has been amazing. I was proud of this video though and look forward to creating more along this line now that I know the audience (and RUclips) like it.
Thank you. For something quite boring, it certainly is getting some good feedback. This was supposed to be part of an ongoing playlist so I really need to get more like this created.
This video is sooooo legit! Well created, well produced, well edited and more. Don’t give up on the channel dude. You’re small now but keep going because you already have just as great if not better quality than the big channels in the millions.
Just got into leatherworking and need a good way to document my items for personal recordkeeping, but also potentially for an e-commerce website going forward. This video is so great! I'm a new subscriber, and will be checking out all your content. Lucky I've got access to an Adobe Suite account through my work; now to just start learning premier...
wow those shots were amazing. Can you give me some ideas of what to search for to learn how to do all of that? So #1 learn key frames. But what about all of those other spins and turns. What could I type into youtube to learn how to do that?
Thank you. Which shots were you mentioning? I mean they are all a simple spinning lazy Susan shot with key frames added to the scale or rotation. Did you see the second half of the video where I show a quick demo? And if it’s that you were referring to with the speed increase along with key frames, then a great video of mine to learn this in more detail would be ‘Make your product video just 15 seconds’ ruclips.net/video/6NeA1EpelWU/видео.html
Mate! I swear you've turned a review of a fairly mundane piece of kit into a cinematic masterpiece. This is work of a real high level and so engaging from start to finish as well as helpful and yeh you're right I have one of these and they're so good for product shots but adding in those scale. position and rotation key frames gives them another dimension. Love it mate, can;t wait to see the next one.
Wow, thanks Pav! I guess it is just a rotating bit of plastic 😂 Guess I should look through my kit and look for an even more mundane it of gear and try to work that into something cool. Tripod heads arent very exciting are they? Maybe that will be next 😉
@@JamesKellyStudio haha seriously thought the way you explain things with great b-roll and the crispy Voiceover takes me into a trance like when I'm watching animal planet or something 🤣. Tripod head again very mundane but very important so yeh why not mate 👍
@@pavguliani Ahhh cheers, good to know I'm doing something right. Challenge accepted. I can make it more like animal planet if you like and get my two sausage dogs involved 😂
Ive used one for a couple of years now - very handy. But I need a cordless one because theres not always a power outlet. The only product I can find is edelkrones headone and dollyone. But they are both expensive, and Ive heard they are a bit slow to set up. Any advice would be great
I now own the Zeapon slider with the Pan and Tilt head. And I actually use just the pan head to act as a lazy Susan and works really well. It’s battery operated so no wires, can control the speed or program in key frames to stop exactly when you want, and is by far a load cheaper than Edelkrone
Dude! Came across your channel today and i'm truly inspired. Thank you! I like how you just use normal household items to help you achieve the look! Keep up the good work! You wanted us to ask you some questions. So here goes.. Would you please do a video on greenscreens and would you ever use them for your product videos and if possible please share your color profile use use on your camera and if possible the equivalent to that of Sony. Thanks man!
Hi Gerhard, thanks for the comments. Creating in such a small space with the wife checking all my Amazon deliveries means I have to get creative 😂 Yeah I would totally use a green screen for some situations. I probably will in the future. At the moment I'm cheating a lot of my work by using my computer monitor as my background as I get to include company branding and styling to the shot without having to key out any green screen. Has its limits though! Asfor my camera profile, well I'm on an older Canon body - 1Dx mkii, and this means I need to create a custom profile which takes all sharpness out and reduces the contrast and saturation. As you're a Sony shooter you probably have access to better built in profiles to use? Biggest tip I can give is to try get rid of any sharpness. I prefer to add that in post rather than the camera, it always looks too much on the eyes otherwise.
Check out my most recent upload - a real client commercial. It's a HOT one ruclips.net/video/zeWMAI464o8/видео.html
