I think most of us hobbyists and your audience will have two grinders for expresso and pour-over convenience. I went with the Mahlkonig x54 & E65W and the only conclusion I have reached is that the latter is easier to dial in Expresso. Thank you for sharing your views on the Niche grinders.

Thanks for sharing this interesting video with us this morning.
I've never made two different brews and tasted them side by side like this, but I may one day decide to give it a try? I'm pretty sure that my old taste buds couldn't tell the difference. I simply know when I like the taste of the particular coffee that I'm drinking at the time. I also know that I generally prefer a light to medium roasted coffee bean over a darker roasted coffee bean and tend to generally prefer washed coffees. I've also found that I'm generally not to fond of most co-fermented coffee beans.

On another note: I don't think I've ever mentioned to you that ever since I was a child I've always been fond of frogs 🐸... I think they are very interesting little critters.

Yeah, it looks to me like the difference in burrs is a bit overrated. By now, I think I have figured out that I enjoy coffee a bit more developed and punchier than you, perhaps even more than most folks. As to frogs, maybe look into Puerto Rico. From all of the places I have visited, they have the biggest fascination with the species 😅. Take a look and let me know what you think?

Hi Omniel. Do you think that the roastiness of the coffee obscured some of the flavor characteristics making it difficult to notice any taste differences? Perhaps a lighter roasted coffee would amplify any differences in taste between the 2 grinders? Just throwing that possibility out there. Have a great week!
